This story came about from a dream. It is a story about an American Sign Language Program. Such programs teach ASL as a secondary language as part of a degree track for becoming an interpreter. The story itself is fictional but the characters have a basis found in real people. The things I have written about Deaf Culture and community are things that I am learning in the ASL program I am attending.
This story could not have been writen without the help of my teachers and friends. I owe them for everything that is here. Also, please understand that the following is only my interpretation of what I am learning and not necessarily the only interpretation that can be made.
