Racism:

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is this January 17th, 2005. In honor of this day, I thought it best to add two rants against racism. One rant for each polarity. I initially wrote the start of this in a coffee shop built into the CMU Campus Library.

Polarity 1:
To You who scream for reparations, and/or other programs/grants/etc. for specific races/minority groups:

You say you want equality, but you only scream racism. You say it is just, but you have completely failed to see the errors of your thoughts. You say you want everyone to have and be the same, but your sin cries out for Truth. The truth that you want to give a foothold to supremecy. The truth that you don't want fairness or justice.

Instead, you desire racism. Racism is treating someone differently simply because they are of different colour/race. Hatred for the race is not a prerequisite. It doesn't mean you must hate a black man, nor have a love for only whites. Wanting to treat someone lower OR higher because of ethnicity is equally racist.

Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke that day against racism because he wanted equality. Equality as a human being deserves. He wanted someone of negro bloodline to not be teased, stared at, given a head-start, or any more or less right to being a man or woman as any other human shall. He wanted to have men working side-by-side without anyone thinking that they are peculiar, but rather, that they are working with a human being; a person, a man with a soul, a creature made in God's image. He wanted equality as the word means, not as the modern minority-supremists have made the word out to mean.


Polarity 2:
To you that shout and holler for a man to be any less than he is, I cry this:

Your selfishness and hatred are nearly unmatched. You believe that you are somehow better than another human. Yet you yourself, out of pure sin (said selfishness and hatred) have proven yourself to be less Godly than those that you mock and torture. You have shown yourself to be nothing but an ugly shell, full of nothing substancial. Your insides have shrivled, your outside is frail and just waiting to be shattered - lest we look at it and run in horror.

Every man and woman is human. They should be treated like that. They are created in God's holy image. No one is supreme, no one is better, no one is worth any more than the other. We all have souls, we all have life, we all have minds and bodies. All of which are to be kept beautiful and sacred. To think yourself above another is to smear large quantities of fecal waste all over a wonderful piece of artistic essence. It ruins everything, the look, the smell, the feel, what is inside.

Black Panthers, you were screwed from the start. Learn to accept the fact that white men are just as human as you. Learn to accept the grace our forefathers' lives brought through defending your forefathers in the war. Return us such grace as to forgive those that did the scorning and torturing. If you refuse, I will show my righteous anger with a solemn rebuke: Screw you.

Ku Klux Klan, I scoff at you. You are a bunch of hicks with no lives. You have no concept of what the cross you burn means. You are so caught up in your own ideals and hatred that you don't know why you ever thought you were right in the first place. You stand blindly and hoping for sight, but it will never come. You know this inside, you see it on the news (if you get PBS in 'Bama, that is), yet you claim reports are evidence that we don't understand the tyranny and chaos. We understand it too well, we picture you giggling in bed as you dream of whipping a black girl. We understand that crosses are a symbol of the sacrifice that gives us grace and order. You distort such a symbol to the point of blasphemy. I again scoff at your pathetic misunderstanding and hatred of what is futily not yours. You are too stupid to think of repenting, and to seal your fate, I say this: Screw you.
