Long time ago, I heard of phreaking , all the stories.... they intrigued me. It soon faded from my interest, almost proportionate to the time I finished reading the Anarchy Cookbook. Then it came again upon me, my classmate showed me a site of some payphone numbers. You can call someone in California -- Awesome (sorta). Again, the concept faded my interest. Monday, I took my phonecard, and called home for a ride. I noticed on the pay-phone that it had a number on it. It said 774-2939... I finished my conversation, then grabbed the campus phone, dialed the number. Now, payphones cost money; but campus phones allow me to make a free call as long as it is a campus call (a 774-**** number). So I called the number that was before me, and I heard the ring, I answered it.
Update, 10th April. 2006!
Mark and I (with the patience of people with us) got about 14 new numbers this weekend! We have plenty more from the ouskirts of Mount Pleasant and in the heart of the stores. We have even some more from out-of-city payphones! Keep your eyes peeled wherever you go. Whether it be here for new updates or out there for wired, blue boxes with numbers on them. We officially have 55 numbers on this list as of right now.

(old) *Update*: My classmate (the same one aforementioned) and I are going to be working on getting all the numbers on campus (hopefully). We have a system, so all payphones will be ours, and some of the campus-only calling ones will be ours as well. Today we got 2 more, but only 2 because of time constraints.
