Abortion is simply the killing of a baby before it is born. About 4,000 babies die each day because of this practice(about 30-60 million since it was 'Ok'd!!!). One of the original thoughts was that if a woman were raped she could have the baby killed in order to avoid the disgrace of carrying a criminal's baby. It was never right. It was just an idea that was not thought out completely.
Under the murder page I elaborate on the taking of life, but here I will strictly be talking on the execution of an unborn child.
Why is it wrong?
Simply put, the killing of human life has always been wrong, ALWAYS. Why on earth should it be any different for a defenseless human that is not born yet? 'Abortionists' say that the baby is still a part of the mother, and she can do whatever she wants to her own body. This is not true, if you took a baby out of the womb before it was born naturally, or if the mother died, the baby can, in some instances, survive. If the baby can survive without the mother's body, then how can she say that her baby is only a part of the body? This is illogical.
If You Only Knew:
Think of this. There are several ways to having an abortion. The general populace, and a high percentage of the pro-choice supporters, don't even know what inhumane and disgusting operations these are. Several methods
are so gruesome that I cannot tell you to read on without caution.
1. Suction curettage. 3 months into the fetus' development they would take a tube hooked to a suction device is inserted into the mother. The force from the suction rips the baby's body apart and goes into a container for disposal. (some give the unborn child certain drugs to induce a miscarriage before this method is done)
2. Dilation and curettage. They take a loop-shaped knife, called a curette, to scrape womb in order to remove the baby's connection to the mother. The baby is commonly, then, cut into several pieces and the head may be crushed in order to make it go through the womb easier.( both methods can be used for other purposes than abortion )
3. Dilation and evacuation. The most common method is where they take a pair of forceps and dismember the baby, pull out the parts, and are put on a table to make sure they got all the pieces.
4. Saline solution. Doctors, as some call them, will also do an abortion with a salt-water compound if the baby is too developed to do the abortions above. Loosely speaking they just take some saline and inject it into the womb in order for the baby to suffocate and burn from the salt.
A sick scenario:
The only thing I can say is quite heartless right now. Say you were a young baby, still developing in the womb, completely oblivious. All of a sudden, some fluid is inserted into your room, you start kicking and letting all you can out. Your flesh burning all over your body and you cannot get a breath. SOME EXISTENCE! Your life goal, at that time, was to exist. And you didn't even achieve that! If you could actually form some words from your thought they would probably be, "What are you doing?! I'm in here! HELP!" But to no avail. You die. And most of your would-be relatives didn't even know you exist.
I cannot think of that scenario without cringing and realizing how sick this practice is. I bet you feel the same.
Final words:
I urge you all. boyfriend and girlfriends, don't be sexually active until you are married and are ready to support a child. Be patient, it is worth it. Then you will not be worried about getting STDs or 'needing' an abortion.
