Well it was a busy day at Grand Central Station. Our received baggage total now numbers 26 with more incomming on its way!

VikiKat is still bedridden with Bronchosauraus, or is is Brontositis? In either case she now has company! Debbielynn has joined us, and is also bedrriden with the flu. Welcome to the Isolation car DL! But watch your step. Sharon The Chambermaid was dispatched to the Isolation Car to clean up some major hairballs as a result of VikiKat's unfortunate illness.
In the absence of Mewsier Haircule Purroit, Inspector Rob (???) conducted a more than thorough search for The Porter's Truss. No Hairball was left unturned. After several false leads and questionable innuendos, hysteria worthy of Ophelia, and a vat full of Rescue Remedy, the missing truss was discovered stuffed in a mattress on a lower berth, for which The Porter is eternally grateful as he is still unpacking Cecilia's luggage. The Truss Thief is still at large.
The morning after the harrowing evening found TC serving Industrial Strength coffee, croissants and assorted pastries to those of you who could still stand, or who slept through the entire inspection.
Lunch was a tasty event, as Axl found out with Toona and Walleye being served for the discriminating kitties, and Chocolate Moose, Chocolate Dipped Strawberries and Chocolate Cheesecake as entrees.
Now we have something extra special that will add a lot of fun to the journey. The Passenger Manifest. For those of you traveling with your kitties, d*wgs, giraffes and who knows what else, you are invited to sign the Passenger manifest at the bottom of the page so that the Cast of Characters can always be revealed, "masks" may remain intact during the voyage, and we can all figure out Whoo is Whoo if we become befuddled. And I'm sure our Destinants (is that a word?) will appreciate the Cast Listing as well. We can get to know each other all over again!
Now, it seems that we have been invited to take a small detour en route to our destination. We have been invited to attend a very dressy Ball at the famous Peckerwood Plantation, to be held tomorrow evening at whenever the first arrival lights from their carriage. Friday evening seemed especially appropriate as more of you would be likely to be Up late. (Is this another Viagra joke?)
Now, I myself will be escorted by the one and only MEL, so keep your HANDS and PAWS to yourselves!!!! Was Spandex around in 1930? Well is it now. I'm going to have to pour myself into something with substantial weight bearing capacity to impress my date. Fran is looking for a push up bra for the affair. I wish I had something to push up. Maybe if I get enough spandex I can push from the ankles upward.

I'll be lighting up the room in a cream velvet cap sleeve dress with beaded shoulder accents, slim and simple, purrfectly elegant. I'll be wearing my long blond (well it's still mostly blond) hair up in a chignon accented with a tortoiseshell comb.
Are there any men left? Is Inspector Rob single? Awww, nevermind. It's not like I've had luck with men that have been "horked" upon by one of my cats, and screamed at byby the other ... *sigh* ... they don't like to share ....
