HANDS OF DOOM.-'COMPILATION OF WAR TALES'-CD-R 2004-PERU-6 TRACKS I was surprised,really surprised!!!HANDS OF DOOM is an excellent death heavy metal band in the '80's years.The frontman is DANIEL RONCAGLIOLO,unique leader of this band,he played before in KRANIUM(another great death metal band from PERU),but HANDS OF DOOM is a perfectly mix between CELTIC FROST and BLACK SABBATH sound,with these riffs that make your brain is broke-up.The recording of this excellent CD-r demo was recorded in '98 and march 2003,but produced by GENOCIDIO RCDS on limited edition in the present year.This CD will contain 6 tracks all,all very heavy,doomy,louder and older times.'The last Emperor' is track that mixed CELTIC riffing with crude vocals and good guitar solo's.'Suicidal man' is a URIAH HEEP cover(Well done),in the following side,the vocals parts are typical heavy metal,more in the Black sabbath and NWOBHM stuff.also he played a MOTORHEAD COVER 'ACE OF SPADES' with great feelin and musical professionalism.i must to say that HANDS OF DOOM is extremely heavy,doom,death metal band which take your soul forever!!!Buy it or die!!! ......................................... 8.5/10 |

HATE SUFFOCATION.-‘THE PROJECT OF HUMANITY-DEMO 2005-5 TRAX EGYPT (NEW REVIEW) Death metal & more Death metal, this time they comes from the seeds of obscure & pagan land; EGYPT. The music can be catalogue like Morbid, death, doomy, heavy, & crude Death metal. They comes in the same level than INCANTATION,FUNERUS,IMMOLATION. ‘THE PROJECT HUMANITY’ have 5 tracks, all of them with high octanage of bloodly riffs, very deepest, no soft melodies, maybe you can found an aggressive sound with solid guitars, full of darkness, simply death metal. The vocal work is very hard, no guttural, intense & aggressive too. Only one word to describe this stuff. DEATH METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great work...............8/10 |

HELLSPIRIT: “DEMO I”-2005-FINLAND-4 TRACKS: (NEW REVIEW) Some years ago that I hasn’t heard the true European death metal music. Many bands was infected with USA death metal feel and they has loosin these european essence. Now I guess that HELLSPIRIT is doing that European death metal is reborning at least. At the end of 80’s years and the beginning of 90’s, European scene has had some great acts likie DEFUNCTIS, CARNAGE, TRIBULATION,EXCIDIUM, GRAVE,INCINERATOR, etc.all of them has had in common the morbid guitar riffs, crude rhythms and perfect death metal harmonies, sometimes are going to mid tempo or faster times, without doubt HELLSPIRIT has taken all the best of this old sound and mixing with his own feelin to Gave Us a great death metal music and let Us a message, so clearly that they’re a new death metal force in Europe.... great stuff ...................................................................................................7.5/10 |

HELRUNAR: “FROSTNACHT”-CD 2005-GERMANY-10 TRAX (NEW REVIEW) AARRGGHH!!!! AMAZING STUFF!!! WONDERFUL!!! It’s band has leave me surprised, I got a Orgasm!!!! Intense and very inspired by NORDIC gods like IMMORTAL even DARKTHRONE, They’re working speed parts sometimes doomy parts with great harmonic parts, great structure of tracks that combines so perfectly with dense harmonies a full of darkness, cruel vocal works sings like a crow ,just it’s combine so good!!!! Everything here is cool, black metal very inspired by the 90’s years. Clean work, very interesting that you must get it now!!!!!!!! |

HELLTRUCKER - "THE LAST TRUCKSTOP TO HELL" PROMO CD 2004 - 5 TRACKS - BRAZIL (NEW REVIEW) Technically the South American bands are in the same line of Europe and Americans ones. Helltrucker gives to a very American sound with high dose of riffs and single technicism listened in American bands those that make of thrash affluent metal obtained a collection piece, those that with inteligence remove the best thing from each musical line to offer a product of superb quality and that are what they offer these Brazilian that combine thrash, death and until heavy conventional metal obtaining a product of optimal quality with great work of riffs and changes of rate accompanied by a perfect and harmonious drummer to us who elevates the product like the perfect assembly of the vocalist. Helltrucker is a band to consider. |

HIEMPERIUM.-'LE DECLIN'-PROMO CD 2004-FRA-6 TRACKS I'm surprised!!!The black french scene is growing up,with great acts like NAHEMAH or MUTILATION that show Us a french assault.HIEMPERIUM is another good band that they sung in french language,to me it's good!!!Musically,it's not the most original thing but I must be admit that their music involved me and shake it my brain!!!Their musical style is aggressive black metal,very interesting,cool black metal style that make for a good contrast with the female vocals on chorus and darkest keyboards.a lot of people dislike with this,but HIEMPERIUM make a good mix of this,is very effective and I feel that 'LE DECLIN' it's an album that you lover or hate it!!!'Av dela des meandres de mes songes' Or 'Nosferatu' is simply great tracks!!!a big hello to Murmure(you rules!!!) .................................................... 8.0/10 |

HINTHRUNA.-‘BLACK WOODS OF OBLIVION’-CD 2003-ITALY 6 TRACKS.- I never heard over them before, but my contributor MARTIN LAZARTE told me about them, I say it, let’s go to do an review, then it I listen up all tracks of CD, and believe I surprised on the named, ‘cause their music is simply black metal, easier, occult with some interested parts, neither supposed found great genius forward HINTHRUNA but I have the hopeless by the great name that they played a great music, but error!!! HINTHRUNA is basic black/death metal that combines some awful vocals parts with good music, simple, direct. I said, it’s modern black metal tracks with death spirit, nothing memorable. They’re not bad musicians, a little been there, like symphonic black metal. It’s well done, not original but very listenable................7.1/10 |

HORDE OF WORMS.-'THE UNCREATION'-CANADA 13 TRACKS-CD 2003 HORDE OF WORMS return with 'THE UNCREATION' album and what can say about them.Following the same vein than ever,is faster,speed metal with some riffs that can do that you make your blood run cold!!!I told you that a because this band is comin' from Canada and their cold lands.I remember great acts such as SALUGHTER(OLD),BLASPHEMY and others.HORDE OF WORMS is a good ban,musically effective as always,is heaviness and original.They are mixed speed,death and black metal makin' of this stuff unique and original.'THE UNCREATION',offer Us 13 trax,each one more speed than others.i wouldn't say this album is better or worse than before,but it's most original thing that I've heard came out from Canada since older times. ......................................................... 8.5/10 Info@bloodbucketproductions.com www.bloodbucketproductions.com |

HRIMTHURS: “WAR OF THE AGES”-CD 2004-10 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) I really was surprised with this kind of stuff, because they’re making an innovative black metal music, very focused to gave us excellent rhythm changes with great technic too. We can find some remains of folk parts, horror film movie tracks, viking metal even true black metal too. It’s a original band that can be catalogue like a new heavy metal style. Musically they’re so technic, the track it’s contain good rhythm changes, strange atmospheras, some black metal parts very inspired by BURZUM. dark harmonies,high depression, cool riffs that did it a cult band. All of that you’ll find it in this CD. Great stuff, very original..................................................................................................................................................7.6/10 Times running aprox: 114 minutes. |

HOLY MOSES:’STRENGHT, POWER, WILL, POSSESSION’-2005 CD (NEW REVIEW) Once upon a time I said ever 80’s, that I don’t hear to HOLY MOSES and their vocalist and leader SABINA CLASSEN, I’m a totally agree to verify that the years has done more mature to this thrash metal band, their sound , their support to adapt to the news kind of metal nowadays, has done of this band a newest german thrash gods!!! I said that by the force of the riffs, solid bases in perfect combination with thrash tunes and vocals that makes of this band a solid group…very connected as band, but then I guess that vocalist work deserve all our recognization. SABINA nowadays, their vocals parts are more strong that 15 years ago and this is funny…the conjunction of all of this, did it more appreciate this excellent work for me, coz’ they’re showing that HOLY MOSES during all of this years have spilled transpiration and tears to be that its and will be as band. One of the biggest from GERMANY and of the world….great stuff…it’s only for old thrashers…………………………………………………………………………..8/10 |

HADES ARCHER:’DAUGHTER OF PERVERSION’-REH TAPE 2006-CHILE-5 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)
This is a parallel band of the frontman and
leader of FORCE OF DARKNESS band, DARIO and as we can hear it; the band is
following the steps of FORCE OF DARKNESS music with a bit of musical changes.
Their bases are continuing solid, thrashier and very heavy, also we can take
note about the thrash path which CHILEAN scene has get it; specifically from
GERMAN sound. Yeah!! I could be name some influences like NECRONOMICON, OLD
ASSASSIN, PROTECTOR and VIOLENT FORCE. The music it’s quite ok, it’s not
original but I believe that they’re doing well yet. The riffs are so good,
as rude, as faster, fuckin great!!! The vocals parts are raw to be only
thrash metal music. Well, talking about the production is good to be a demo
tape and the record sound could be better but it’s listenable yet…..good
product…..7/10 |

HELLS HEADBANGERS/DEATHGASM ‘PROMOTIONAL SAMPLER-CD 2006-22 TRACKS-USA (ONLY PROMOTIONAL USE) (NEW REVIEW)
It’s contain 22 tracks of all bands that signed
by both record labels and it include som great bands such as: NUNSLAUGHTER,
DESTRUKTOR, and VICTIMIZER as the best recknowed bands, but also exist some
interesting stuff behind. MANTICORE is opening this wonderful CD as I said
in other review, They’re playing great black/death metal more less it’s
comparable to GOATLORD and NUNSLAUGHTER; then comes DESTRUKTOR with their
amazing black/thrash metal in essence, together ATOMIZER band, they’re the
most big prove that black/thrash/speed metal still alive. Who never heard
TOXIC HOLOCAUST band or EVIL INCARNATE? I believe that both bands are well
knowed into the scene, they’re inspired on old 80’s metal music; also they
have some interesting stuff out. Their principal proposal are play so thrash
as 80’s times…ARGH!!! Other great bands are: DEAD CONSPIRACY, SPAWN OF SATAN
and QUINTA ESSENTIA, the mainly of them, goes to the same death way and
satanically influenced on the lyrics and compositions. As you can read this
review you’ll notice that I enjoyed so much, but sorry it’s not available
for public.So, you must try to get some bands of this review to can enjoy it……..thanx
to HELLHEADBANGERS and DEATHGASM for this product…great………………8/10 |

HOLY SINNER:’METAL CAMP FESTIVAL 2006’-CD-R –ITALY-5 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)
Many people has tried to destroy the true old
metal spirit, but someone could do it??? I don’t believe it!!! Well, this
band is fighting to keep the metal essence alive and this production can be
the best show of that.Actually it’s so difficult to find out some bands that
are still playing like NWOBHM , So when I heard this stuff I stay totally
greatefully with this stuff, because I don’t have the chance to hear bands
like HOLY SINNER now. Well, talking about their musical ways, they have
influences of earlier IRON MAIDEN and the first releases from PICTURE, we
can prove it, in the tracks as SPIDER or HOLY SINNER, where the sound is
more clear, and they’re showing all his potential. The riffs and rhythms are
so typical classical heavy metal oriented, at least they’re sounded true
metal yet. What else could I say??? They also have added synths and piano in
some tracks given more melodies and harmonies and moving their music to hard
rock. At time, they’re sounding quite strange. I guess that you should be
hear to know more about of this sound , because it’s a quite difficult to
explain you……..6.6/10 |

HATRED:’’ Hatred’’-ITALIA:(NEW REVIEW) Another Italian band that send me my friend RR Unholy Bastard, some guys from here support in the live show of Baphomet´s Blood this demo are a good and technical death thrash metal band start with MENSES ASTER DEATH a good song with med tempo good cuts the voice sound like old bands in American death metal bands some guitar solos are amazing you can note the high level of the guitar player when you listen this song and the solos, later continue PAIL OF VIOLENCE with a thrash intro all song have this sound thrash death metal, continue VANDALIC this song sound like the continuation of PAIL OF VIOLENCE same level, good guitar riffs after continues NO MORE FATE , FIST OF DEATH and FINAL HATE to end this demo they play a cover from Possessed with the song call DEATH METAL a great song in the HATRED way I like so much this song. for more information write to extremehatred@libero.it |

HYPERION: ‘Through centuries’- CD 2004- RU- (Deathgasm
REC ).-(NEW REVIEW) More techno death metal has arrive Hyperion comes from Russia a land that Im continuing listening new bands that arrivals with tons of ideas but always they have gone on the black metal way therefore I’m surprised with this band, musically they are offer us a good rhythm changes very structured tracks very Metallized but they are sounded common, all tracks riffs are developed but are not original, also it contain interesting guitar work with good guitar solo’s almost similar than USA Death metal products but with a little bit influence of Swedish death tunes when you listen through one track I believe that you has listening at all, the sound is clear, and production is ok, the best thing here it’s a good musicians but really I prefer Somekind of innovate death metal and the true Swedish metal... good work 7.5/10 |
