GANGRENA FEBROSA-‘REH-DEMO 2005’-TAPE-6 TRAX-BRAZIL (NEW REVIEW) Rafo editor from HEADBANGER MAGAZINE asked to me if I want to write a review about 3 new gore bands from BRAZIL which he brought from their recently travel through brazilian lands and I accept, but so many times which I don’t reviewed anything, but I do it again. Here, the firts band. GANGRENA FEBROSA, they played death grind metal very focused on GORE lyrics.(how d’ you see by the name) Guttural vocals & extrem faster drums, very classic stuff in this kind of band. It say, mid-tempos with a full of mosh, then, faster drums to 100 mph. 5 tracks not will contain intros and the time by track is not common, each track contain about one a half minutes to 2. This rehearsal, oh surprise have a good record sound. The tracks have a good structure and one necessary point of perversion & agressivity. This band is a good promise of grind metal. GNOSTIC.-'EVOKING THE DEMON'-PROMO CD-2003-11 TRACK Original & savage band ! ! !I'm so very glad to have in my hands this kind of stuff.The promotional CD of this band,offer Us an Black/true death metal in 80's vein.very fast,furious & violent,the tracks are short but with full of vitality.These guys are deceased & extremely demently.They've played like NUN SLAUGHTER bou 100 % more faster & atonishing.All stuff from them are guaranted & strongly recommended. .................. 9.0/10 |

GOD DETHRONED 'INTO THE LUNGS OF HELL'-CD 2003 This CD is an excellent production,and an equal sound,releases that we are in habit by Metal Blade rcds. GOD DETHRONED is an excellent band of Death metal,with goods riffs and excellent work of drums.Although their sound is more commercial and seems like SIX FEET UNDER.I consider this great double CD,because their work is the best.The CD has Video clips,and a MEGADETH cover.This is a great death metal work. ..... 8.0/10 |

GOLDEN PYRE : ‘NECROTERRORISM’ This promo Cd is the second release of this Portuguese band.Their music is a mix from INCANTATION and IMMOLATION,full death metal and only extrem death metal.They played a USA metal sound,Super confident and effective death metal sound,is very heavy,at time very speed but always is crude Death Metal.I hope to hear the next release ‘DECREPIDERMIC’ MCD as soon as possible,’Cause I believe which is a good new band.This promo contain 4 tracks. ‘CORROSION OF THE FUTURE’,being the best track.good guitar work,mid speed,very death.if you’re into Extrem Death Metal.get it now ! ! ! ................................ 9.0/10 |

GOLGOTH-'SUMMUS MORTIIS IMAGO'-PROMO CD-2003-9 TRACKS This is the last release to GOLGOTH,but I must admit that I personally prefer the promo cd 'VISIONAL INERTIA',because is more brutal,techno black metal in the same vein than NOKTURNAL MORTUM or NALGFAR.'SUMMUS MORTIIS IMAGO',has a well done production,more technic,more elaborated tracks without their old feelin' than ever. 9 tracks of pure techno black metal very influenced to BEHEMOTH and the same NALGFAR,all tracks are good but this stuff can be better. ............................... 8.0/10 |

Play it and GORE are ready to destroy & torture your putrid brain to the eternity.The stuff that has received only have 2 tracks 'NOT BEEN BORN' & 'RECTAL FEAST,How do you see for this kind of stuff is simple music but well be done,at time heaviness & faster,corrosive and intense too ! ! !the voice is typical grind Use.I found the old times of GORE bands on this tunes.GORE is influenced by GOREFEAST,PURULENT & old NAPALM DEATH 'FETO',mixed with the grind/gore stuff too.if you're into blood,putrid,anals & oral feast,mixed with musically atractive feelin',this stuff must be in your collection.Thanx OSKAR MUTILATOR for this work.I hope listen the complete version of this stuff as soon as possible ! ! !good luck ! ! ! ................................... 8.0/10 |

GORE EMPIRE:’SYMPOSIUM OF SICKNESS’-PROMO TAPE 2004-BRAZIL (NEW REVIEW) When I read some band names I think which their musical style goes of the hands with the music and band name, but sometimes I can be wrong, and it is a singular case, because their musical way are going to true death metal feelin, strongly and doomy too.therefore I’ve had some surprises with the musical paths. In this chance GORE EMPIRE is a solid band, they’re played a mid tempo death metal, a full of energy with guttural vocals without play it Gore even Grind metal music.This release was conceptually on extreme death metal at the same vein than USA tunes as INCANTANTION with a great drum work. Also included a SODOM ‘Blasphemer’ Cover, extremely played, more crude & heavyness but a t the time more faster than original version. GRAVE DESECRATION.-'TRIUMPHANT MARCH OF WAR'-PROMO TAPE 2004-PERU-4 TRACKS This is a project band from two brotherblood,both are friends mine,but I really want to be a good critic with them.I started to say the production is ok.but the sound is ugly,their music is extremely black metal,very crude,very simple,is really cruel...leave to say,CALATO your band is too cool ! ! !Killsss ! ! !your brain is bleed in each track,in each riffs,HELL ! ! !all 4 tracks are stronger,deepest and faster.The vocals parts are better,well done,excelent vocals parts.The music is nordic sound mixed with a lot of Brazilian riffs all in the old brazilian school.,in special on tracks like WORLD DOMINATION & LORD OF THE TWILIGHT.The fuckin' tape is awful point,because the sound is poor,really poor. ..................... 7.5/10 gravedesecration9@yahoo.com www.warhatefront.cjb.net |

(NEW REVIEW) Following the KATALEPSY steps, they comes from ALTO PERU lands (jajaja), it’s a grinding band under a sign of guttural , splatter & porno metal music.The proposal is very clear, the band only have a few rhythm changes, very heavy & doomy others, then the next seconds are holocaustic & chaotic rhythms continues. The musical quaility is poor, but who cares When we talking about grind stuff. The musical path goes to FUNERAL RAPE & REPULSION influences. Taking one, the faster parts even doomy parts of the second band. Well, the sound is good to be a rehearsal demo, I guess that’s all for now. GAMMOTH: “ THE HACKED UP AND BURIED” CD-R DEMO 2003 – BRAZIL – 3 TX (NEW REVIEW) I
have mention at the same thing that I did it with ACROSS band. It´s great
death metal that let me surprised, because the high quality of this product
is good, the energy and raw that spread all brazilian bands, and specially
gammoth is fantastic. I must be to recoonize that brazilian death bands have
a great musical quality, versality even best guitar work. They´ re playing
true death metal in the same that USA death acts like: Funerus or Estuary.
All tracks here are highly recommended. Great stuff…………..7.3/10 |

GANGRENA FEBROSA: “LA EXPULSION DE LOS CUERPOS PODRIDOS” CD-R 2005 – BRAZIL – 4 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) It has been released previously that rehearsal demo, reviewed some lines up – here you´ ll can find 4 tracks (are the same titles that rehearsal) but recorded with better sound and effects. I like it so much, it´ s best than previous stuff. The band is more accomplishment, his sound is more brutal than ever I guess that “La expulsion de los cuerpos podridos” was recorded only a few days after. How I above mentioned, it´ s a band with great potential and could be a new grind promises from brazilian gore. Listen up this band they don´ t will be deceptioned to you. Yezz. Maniac killers. GODDES OF DESIRE:’AWAKEN PAGAN GODS’-CD 2005-12 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) I’m really surprised for this great fuckin band of real heavy/power/thrash metal very influenced by old school, even to be consolidate in EUROPE, so little come for this side of the world their stuff. GODDES OF DESIRE is a great demonstration of metal feeling and how they’re feel the real heavy metal in his veins. Their have a characteristic dominion of theatrical scene, that make it more attractive in their work, they’re show it when they’re playing alive.Another thing,their musical structures combine perfectly heavy/speed mid tempo even fast times. Their rhythm changes thrash to heavy metal are so perfectly that do it very easy to hear it… they have a great knowledge deeply about these strange ways of metal…there have tracks so differents like DEAD & STREET with old sound from TANKARD then they goes to BLOODSTAINED SIGHT that have a great BLACK SABBATH riffing even CELTIC FROST too, very heavy and tetric… or AWAKEN PAGAN GODS, that is a speed/thrash track that combine soe METALLICA riffs / powerful vocals a la DEVASTATION, as you can read if you has the opportunity to buy this stuff, you can find a real trip to the true metal ways…excellent……………………………………………………………………...8/10 |

GRADUS PENTALPHAE/SOULESS.-‘CD-R SPLIT- 2005-BRAZIL-10 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) A new
split Cd ,with two powerful bands like are: GRADUS PENTHALPAE tha comes from
BRAZIL, and show Us their well played BLACK/DEATH metal in concept but
musically they’re keeping some extreme BRAZILIAN black touches as are the
rhythms conception but with a bit of brutality, giving these atmosphere that
you need find out in a band. Talking about SOULESS PROFANATION, they’re
coming from POLAND and as cannot be they have played at the same line than
old-BEHEMOTH, So you can hear here, some brutal death rhythms mixed with
Black metal touches, their musical quality it’s quite ok. Showing a typical
POLISH black/death metal band. When I talk about the POLISH sound is a la
BUNDESHWERA or IMPERATOR. Good production to be CD-R recorder……………………………………………………………..7.5/10 |

Excellent compilation tape from BRAZIL!!! Where the mainly bands plays black
metal music, then the compilation name come from. Talking about the band
that appears on the set list We can mention only a few bands that impressed
me a lot, such as: URAEUS, they have playing old riffs touches a la CELTIC
FROST but it include some own touches. They have adding some faster rhythms
and extense intensity, apart they have show Us a great background. Then
comes RAVENDARK’S MONARCHAL CANTICLE with their powerful thrash/black metal
influenced by SABBAT, ABIGAIL,and others japanase bands. Just, they have
some interesting releases out, where tou can prove it. Really the band which
impressed me is called MORTAL WISH, they have playing a powerful black metal
that it’s contains very develop riffs with some deathly rhythms, all of that
mixed with extreme breaks, great!!!By the side B, We can hear some
interesting bands like: AVE LUCIFER, another fuckin’ great black metal horde,
also CURSED CHRIST with the same proposal, then comes MORTE SUBTA with their
extreme death metal a la SUFFOCATION. Well , I don’t have any doubt, this
compilation tape it’s a fuckin’ great………………………………………………………………………………...….8/0

GAIAS PENDULUM: ‘Scarlet Visions’ -CD 2004-
11 tx- Colombia (hateworks prod).-(NEW REVIEW) Uuurgh! I can’t know how I can define this stuff, because they are playing some kind of dark even gothic metal, sometimes very depressive, melancholic an darkness, also I can find some interesting doom parts very influenced by those glorious past times of Tiamat and Katatonia, they also play with keyboards like atmospheric sound but that is given a good darkness rhythm the musical quality is proof it’s a good masterpiece of dark metal, with many creative rhythm and bases, very inspiring to real Doom lovers the high technic of those musicians we can listen in some tracks like “Shattered salvation”, “Midnight meeting” they are offering us a great process evolution in comparison to the first release also we can see the great deeper tunes of his vocals without doubt the most mature work of the band hateworks@hateworks.net 7.5/10 |
