CARBOMB:PROMO CD 2004-USA -3 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

As you can see by the name only can be an american band and when you hear it more CARBOMB plays simple thrash metal, distorted and in extreme influenced by PANTERA. I think is a copy by carbon paper, a style totally exploited and without nothing of cretivity. Like ever the characteristic in these bands of this style are the riffs well elaborated, played hardest, doing perfects harmonies and developments of the guitarrits. The disagreements are a lot with this style, the pack of commercial riffs, the easy access to all the tastes, too access to radio stations and TV marketing...but simple, it’s a music to forgot, without character of misunderstand them like musicians they lost talent in some to simple..................................................................6.5/10

CATACOMB 'WE SHALL INHERIT'-CD 2002

To a band that is fighting for 13 years,I think that is no the best this CD.Although I must admit that I have hearing since their first demo 'LURKER AT THRESHOLD' and it has a progress in the music like professional.They do a great Death metal,So the touches of the keyboard do more elaborated the tracks.But I think that the band could do more in this CD.They mix the black sound of DIMMU BORGIR with the USA Death metal.I hope to hear the next work of the band.I hope that will be interesting. ............ 8.0/10

CATHOLICON - ‘PROMO DEMO 2002’

This release is an adv of their Lp.that will be release in Januray 2004.it’s best than their first CD ‘Lost Chronicle of the War in Heaven ‘.Their music go from the US death metal like DEICIDE and for European Black metal like DARK FUNERAL.the tracks are very good structure,there are not complex,but have a good guitar works.basically is a good promo,but I don’t have a lot of words because I heard it 3 times and I don’t remember any tracks. e-mail :catholicon666@hotmail.com  .............. 7.5/10

CEREMONIAL CASTINGS - ‘MIDNIGHT DEATHCULT PHENOMENA’ 2003

This band is so strange,because I don’t know what want of sound ,sometimes sound to EMPEROR,other to DEICIDE and sometimes are going to the path of BEHERIT.Also plays a cover of Them.Musically are a good band.also use a lot of synths,they’re agreat musicians.to be a promo cd 2003 self reales is a good one,I said excellent but this ambiguous left me a bad taste in the mouth. !3 faster tracks, riffs are goo done and the themes very structure too.the 2 covers are excellent ‘Night of the Graveless souls’ of EMPEROR and the ‘Gate of Nannia’ of BEHERIT. this Cd is recommended to Black metallers. .......................... 8/10

CHAINSAW DISSECTION.-‘BLOOD,GORE & GRINDCORE’-CD-R 2004-13 TRAX-USA.-

When you read the name ‘Blood,gore & grindcore’, you understand that’s a grindgore band. There’s a typical band based on gore films, makin’ splatter & grind music. I don’t understand about taste like this, but I believe that’s really all you need to know. The typical sound is influenced by MORTICIAN, KABAK, MACABRE on some vocals parts, until DISABOWED. Speed, brutal, very underground sound, being conceived by only one men. (Insane guy) the tracks are shorts (it’s common), ugly, repulsive & Brutal. C.L.G : ‘LEGION OF GRINDERS’- DEMO- CD 2003

This band hail from Italy,not is the typic Black Metal,only Death,pure Death with horrified Vocals and Deathgrind riffs.This Demo-CD,contain 7 trax+Intro.All in the same vein,Deathly Metal,fast,very fast with grinding vocals like INCANTANTION,Also have some good Rhythm changes.The best track is LEGION OF GRINDERS,fast & furious,with good guitar work.at time this Demo-CD sound like a grinding band.if you remember the Italian band ‘GLACIAL FEAR ‘,this band have any touches.in special the grinding parts.if you’re interested in this style write to : cedipo@libero.it or c/o Joseph di Porto. CHANT OF BLASPHEMY - ‘PROMO CD 2002’

Urgh ! ! !This band is influenced by GOATVOMIT,BLACK WITCHERY and VERMINOUS.They come from GERMANY and make a fast black metal, unclean,simple and direct.good changes in the vocal parts,the music is simple not noise,only that they don’t have good work in difficult riffs.the only bad is the intro, that is too large that do boring the wait the begin.’Dark pleasure’ is a good track, musically don’t leave nothing to the remain.but have that feeling that do of this cd taht you must heard to the stress. e-mail : chant666@gmx.de ..................... 7.5/10

COMP DEATH METAL 'FACE YOUR UNDERGROUND'

Very few times in my life I do a review of a comp.so good.21 bands that go over all the variations of death metal.since the Gore with ABORTED,till Deathrash with the new GODZZ ! ! ! 'DEMONIZER' ;going to SHADOWS VEIL(it's great),to the pure Death metal.All the bands are interesting.to my taste the best are URZAMOTH, MORTIFIER,GORATH,AXAMENTA,AEONS OF OLD.From the beginning till the end you will find only satisfaction and pleasure to hear a lot of bands.This is only to Death metal fans.Bands that will want in appear in future comps or any interested write to :e-mail: info@deathmetal.be  www.deathmetal.be .......... 8.0/10

CONTAMINO - ‘MOTHER NATURE GASED’- PROMO TAPE 2002

This is an excellent band,with a simple sound but hit you ! ! !Black metal in the vein of REVENGE/BLACK WITCHERY/GOATVOMIT with a sound to the old SODOM.9 tracks,very intense with warriors riffs and brutals,with excellent fast parts.Is strange to find in Sweden this kind of bands.You must find this promotape that also appear in the split Cd.is highly recommended ! ! ! ! ! ! www.carnalrecords.cjb.net .............. 9/10

CORPORAL SORES.-‘GORE MASSACRE & EJACULATION IN THE CADAVERS OF THE PROSTITUES’-CDR DEMO-2003-BRAZIL

Is the first time that I’ve heard about them, ‘cause I’m not into gore stuff, but I was surprised for your grind sound, not is core & faster but it’s so brutal & deathly grinding too. I like so much, it’s good, grinding solid and death metal with full of good passages & riffs arrangements. Tracks like ‘EXPOSED HUMAN INTERIOR’ or ‘PARASICT FECUNDATION/MALIGNANT DESIRES’ are great!!! Influenced by ROT/DISGORGE bands. Not original, but very attractive to all grind /death metal fans. CORPUS CHRISTII: “THE TORMENT CONTINUES”-CD 2005-PORTUGAL (NEW REVIEW)

It’s a well known black metal band that comes from PORTUGAL; who’s together to OPUS DRACONIS is leadership the Lusitanian scene. They’re spreading the black plague and hatred against to Christianity, in this chance they’re present his new Cd “THE TORMENT CONTINUES”, it contain a better work of speed rhythms, mid tempo times than other previous releases like FIRE OF GOD or SAECULUM DOMINI, the rhythm changes has changed too, his brutal sound hasn’t more melancholic feel, Now they gave us more faster, the tracks structure is more complex and his conception is define as NORSE black metal, but Those Lusitanian guys did it more brutal and so easy. The cool atmospheres have a full energy and I can to say that guitar work is really great, sometimes I reminds to WATAIN and DARKTHRONE stuff. Well I guess that all tracks here are cool and you must to obtain this masterpiece.all satanic people are strongly urgent to get it. Great stuff…………..8.5/10

CRIMSON DEATH.-'TECHNOLOGY'-CD 2004 MYTHIC METAL PROD.-PERU

I don't Understand,How this band not has get signed before.This is the best melodic death band hail from Peru in this time,is DARK TRANQUILITY & AMORPHIS response.Their music is very complex,madure with great production and good sound. This guys know very good their instruments and this style.'TECHNOLOGY' has 11 trax,all have highly instrumental quality,with melodic riffs and force too.They mixed all that,with a strong vocals,just to this style in perfect harmony. mid-paced parts,taken each time with the compact sound of the guitar player.I don't to say which tracks are best,but since the first one 'THE END OF THE NOVEL' until 'SONG OF THE BLACK RIVER', CRIMSON DEATH give Us one the best releases made in PERU.Great work from MYTHIC METAL PROD. CROWN OF WORMS/BLOODLESS-PROMO 2004-PERU CD-R-13 TRACKS

helllll ! ! !is a good proposal of this peruvian band...Blackthrash in the old 80's school or must be to say a DESASTER copy copy sounded,YEZZ ! ! !is a copy but well be done.CROWNS OF WORNS,get out their first work 'GLAMRIPPER',this is recorded with great sound and great musical work.This band played brutal & technically is fine.I can't say that track are best 'cause their unique influence & sounded is DESASTER.Ah,forget it this stuff gave Us a SEPULTURA 'WARRIORS OF DEATH' cover,with thrashier sound than ever.this stuff is interested to be a first release wormband@hotmail.com  ........................................7.8/10

CRYSTALIUM 'DE AETERNITATE COMMANDO'-2002

Now exist a lot of french bands doing good music and this band is one of them,is not an original band but it is so good,with lyrics 100% french,like remember their origin.Musically go to the line of EMPEROR,the new DIMMU BORGIR mixing sometimes with JUDAS ISCARIOT.They are 5 members,all with great musical performance.The music is fast with interesting riffs,the keyboards are not so melodics neither soft in comparison to others bands.The interesting is that mix in 2 tracks some parts of the 'MARSELLESA' french hymn.like all the people know is the more beautiful of all over the world.in 'Ce quil en nestera' and 'Au nom de la rebelium'.This CD is second production and is a good black metal production. e-mail: erp_erton@hotmail.com  8.0/10

CRYTIC STENCH – “HORRIFYINGLY MYSTERIOUS” (NEW REVIEW)

They sent me their first oficial ep. Four songs, good sound, very profesional recorded, the music is well executed, in the vein of the old cannibal corpse and another bands into the death grind metal. I think the voice could be more violent and gutural in all the songs.The first theme called “Bear MTN. RD.” ,its a good theme, but they dont make nothing new here, its just a good song. for me the best song is “A series of horrifying and misterious deaths” (long tittle) I liked the changes here. The drums are very agressive, and the riffs of the guitar well done. The third song, called “The House on tombstone hill” is the most Cannibal Corpse like of them all, into the butchered stuff. Now, the last song, called the “The Black Plage” is another good song. Good changes in the guitar riffs, and the drums too. If you are into the death grind stuff you must order this ep. Aaarrrggghhh ! ! !This is raw,cold,brutal.this band is other jewel from AUSTRALIA. This promo-tape is in the same vein that their ancestors CORPSE MOLESTATION and BESTIAL WARLUST.with a sound a la BLASPHEMY and BLACK WITCHERY, with that influence that you will see that I have between my hands.it’s a masterpiece of Brutallity and Insanity.the 3 track are faster and with a voice will explode your brain.this is highly recommended to the brutal blackwarbangers. ................... 9/10

5 tracks of this band of the drummer FREDERICK ANDERSSON of AMON AMARTH. Musically is in the same line of A.AMARTH and if you hear good you won't find the difference,Technically is so good ;the riffs are cruelties and are so compact. The band goes for good way,the unique bad is their no originality. .............. 7.5/10

AAAARRGGHH!!! This is my first fascist band that appear in HEADBANGER pages. They’re a paralel band from ULFHETNAR members and their music is very faster, very simple only a 3 rhythm changes per track. The tracks atmospheres was done very cooldest like NORSE bands, as the majority of black metal bands of this genre. The musical quality is a little bit awful, the drums beats so much, but seriously anyone take care about it sound...NO!!! a lot of people are prefer brutality & extremism than quality. Also I can mentioned some hardcorish riffs. CAMPO DE MAYO sound like they’re serious fascist band. this demo is the response to all anti fascist argentinan mothers...cool stuff......7/10

CONTRADICTION:’THE VOICE OF HATRED-CD 2005 (NEW REVIEW)
Sometimes I can say that this style is a commercial metal and it’s a full. In fact I guess that PANTERA school is pathetic, But when I find bands like CONTRADICTION , with rhythms and musical changes with old sound like JUDAS PRIEST and above mentioned band and for this reason I can forget it all!!!CONTRADICTION give Us on this CD rhythms that reminds me to PAINKILLER album or JUGULATOR mixed with these PANTERA riffs that I dislike combined with great guitar solo’s, with breaks of excellent thrash metal tunes.it’s a excellent solid band, but the disappointed it’s that all fuckin guys are very influenced by PANTERA……………………………………7.2/10
