Just a killer combination of classical music & modern riffs, as the new wave of finnish metal. To the latest realese that comes from this land I believe that melodic stuff is definetely the best thing that offer Us. The musical quality is great, some parts reminds me to NIGHTWISH, SONATA ARTICA or TRISTANIA. TACERE combines classic elements with excellent guitar solo’s (inspired by YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), at time taken NIGHTWISH elements, but I really liked it specially by the complete structure of tracks. All of them, well conceived, running through of speed, power, symphonic tunes. Each track have perfect harmony and makes this CD as one of the best along NIGHTWISH. Great stuff!!!........................................................8/10

Musically,TACERE present Us an CD,full of melodies and tragic histories,makin' of 'THE LEGEND OF...'the finnish response to KAMELOT or DREAM THEATRE.Their melodies runnin'through my brain makin' of this a pleasure when I hear it.a lot of people say that I don't critize this kind of bands it's a wrong ! ! !I don't like this stuff but I appreciate the good music and the musically talent of this POWER METALLERS that give Us an excellent product.The complex riffs,full of technic followed to interested keyboards rhythms.The worst of that CD is the vocal part,I dislike so much,is rhythmic but without force and feelin',is totally morons ! ! !Some tracks has influenced to STRATOVARIOUS,all tracks are extremely well done.great guitar work(master) ! ! !This stuff is to all lovers from powermetal. ............................................................ 7.5/10

TENEBRARIO-‘LIGHTING UP TENEBRARIO’-CD 2000-BRAZIL-10 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

This is a paralel band of N’BRESSAN guitar player of MORCROF, but sincerely this stuff is only true HEAVY/THRASH/POWER metal at same way than METAL CHURCH, YEZZ!!! Here you’ll find these riffs than made explode your brain, powerful and brilliant too. Each rhythm changes cuts like a knife your cells, the vocals parts reminds me to METAL CHURCH vocalist. Simply great!!! Thanxful for this jewel. Talking about only music, thrash metal, razor sharp riffs, decend rhythms changes with interesting twist, lots of scream & stronger vocals with heavy parts. Sincerely I must to admit which I’m totally into all true thrash/heavy stuff. All elements here are fucking great... it’s recommended to all true  THRASH/POWER bangers from old times.Enjoyable stuff...............................................................................................................8/10

As you can see by the name, this is a gothic band. THE MANSION OF SOUL MAIN, offering Us nothing originally gothic metal, only a THEATRE OF TRAGEDY copy. YEZZZ!!! Is synonymous & Unoriginality. Female vocals, synths & dance rhythm changes. The tracks are surreal, bored & believe it, it's only to gothic souls. Just like a million of new bands!!!  ........................................................................... 6.5/10

arrgghh ! ! ! OMENDARK is an Insane basque band with great potential,the music is fast,corrosive and agressive,more in the vein of SARGEIST or NAER MATARON,but like all great basque bands,it has it's own trademark,that make basque bands so unique,but unlike other bands,this one doesn't sung in there own language.The CD starts with an intro,followed by the violence and strong guitar riffing,together with a very loud vocals,like I said before,into the style of Gods SARGEIST,fast well executed and destructor.'REMEMBERING OLD TIMES',this is the track that has power and mystic that you expect from black metal band,nowadays.'AND OUR HATE HAS AWAKEN' does but confirm all that was said before by this editor.OMENDARK is the new from EUROPE and one of the best nowadays.I can hardly wait by there debut.buy it NOW ! ! ! .................................... 9.5/10

When I 've received this package I was surprised because I don't knowed this band but first listen through the album I stay cool!!!each track that listen up was much more than other.This band show me highly technical level and I stay wondered.their music is a professional death metal very influenced by progressive and techno metal,really good!!!SWORN ENEMY;HEAVEN' is a extremely melodic death metal with a lot of heavyness,louder and proud feelin' too!!!As relative intense riffs and complex melodies structure in all themes..These musicians are great!!!this is just a great album,and has all that I've wanted to large years,death/melodic metal with innovative riffs and excellent guitar solos.Their sound show a mature band that knowed perfectly their instruments and the vocal parts is solid.all tracks are highly recommended I liked so much.'Persecution','Unleash the soul','Blood for Blood' & 'Strangled' are my fav.ah ,forget it THIRD MOON has released 2 albums before and they came out from AUSTRIA.'SWORN ENEMY;HEAVEN' album is the best!!! ............................................................................ 9/10

This is the first time that I hear this band and I was surprised.'Beast... ' is a brutal black metal in the CARPATHIAN FOREST/MARDUK (the older one's) stuff.This album is just deepest and morbid,heaviness riffs but please don't played the guitar solo's nevermore(are bad done)This band is extremely brutal,has possessed vocalist that made of this work one to who are looking for brutalism and heavy black metal be urged ! ! !the best tracks is HYPAETHRAL which is faster & slowly at time too ! ! !excellent screamin' & killer atmosphere.this release is to all fuckin' black/death metallers from all over the world. ................................................................................................ 8.5/10

THROW UP (NEW REVIEW)

Nowadays , it’s strange which deathrash metal bands are sounded as 80’s bands, so I introducing to THROW UP. YEAH!!!!! THROW UP, is influenced by the older thrash metal sound and inspired by core bands, without doubt. I still remember these old times of bands as SACRED REICH, SLAYER, EXODUS. OVERKILL, WEHRMACHT, POST MORTEM and many more. I must recognized each time on his time, I can’t back to past, but I want to thanx to them, I reminds my influences again. I’m fascinated with the guitar riffs, technically very good, the vocals work also are good, I come back to school, JAJAJAJA!!! The accomplished & musical structure is in right way, not is great but is good. Only a good product..................................7/10

Oh,is fuckin'great ! ! !When I heard this band I was rapture and dead easy in the paviment with a shock ! ! !it is too heavy,Thrash,Death metal,technic.What great work of guitars,to good solo's and keyboards that do a Black metal atmosphere that do of this work the best one that I've heard in the last times in their musical style.I remember that I had the same sensation when I heard the demo of CALLENISH CIRCLE and the FORLORN.other 2 bands with an excellent technic,and TALIANDOROGD goes for the same way.Thanxs for the good music and production. ............... 9.5/10

TODTGELICHTER:’WAS BLIBT’-CD 2005-GERMANY-9 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

This stuff is a newest for me, an unknown but is another that impress me like BENIGHTED, but this time comes from GERMANY, although his sound is cold, complety crude, of a bestial black metal, aggressive, I said glorious of long riffs but with an interesting confection like remind me to glorys as BURZUM, NARGAROTH and more. The vocals come from the deepest hell, could be simples but in that simple form have variants and in that’s the taste. TODTGELICHTER is a band that knows catch you with his devastating brency. Without to fear to mistake me. I qualify this work as too good, and the future to them are assure. FOLTER RECORDS can’t choose better;great stuff. For all that like the real, crude and true black metal...................................8/10

Many people has thought that true Heavy metal was died or maybe this kind of stuff has had a last breath. But not is true, because they’re alive!!! Here I introduce to TOXICARM another Brazilian band that give a tribute to old heavy metal roots of NWOHM , these that changed to form of play the clasical heavy metal music. They’re mixed some kinds of heavy metal ways as Speed/Thrash and classical heavy metal,with strongly and supreme guitar work. the demo Cd-r, it contains 8 tracks of pure and well done heavy/speed metal loyalty to the origins. They’re keeping the true heavy metal essence and I guess that to be a first experience that cannot be better. TRIUMPH:’TRIUMPH’-CD 2004-BRAZIL-10 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

If I can describe with only one word the music of this band, without doubt I must call it ANGER/RAW and profane black metal. When I receive this kind of Brazilian black metal bands I have to prepare my ears and mind to can receive this extreme sound and not died. Just, this stuff came to my hands and Surprised me with all his fury and satanic tematic.but, the dissapointed about TRIUMPH music is that they are sounded more inspired on NORSE bands than Brazilian old tunes. I search why about this? But really I don’t know why??? The music can be describe as cruelty, faster, intense, in the old way than MARDUK/IMMORTAL hordes. This band has released some demo tapes with unusual support, some them has gained great sucess for the black metal bangers and this stuff confirm their great time...as I said before, brazilian bands must be playing brazilian black metal music not Norse music....................7.7/10

TROLLHEIM:’AZ ELMULAS UTJAN’-CD-R PROMO 2005-HUNGARY- 2 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

From the forgotten tartarean lands has arrived TROLLHEIM. Hungary never was into death/black metal scene except for the  great black cult band TORMENTOR, but it’s so far years before, then they didn’t great metal acts and their Underground scene was a little bit, many time has running and now, they’re introducing to TROLLHEIM as a new great band, and they’re awaiting that all people around to metal music will be supporting to them. Musically the band is playing perfect harmonies, sweetness and beautiful rhythms where the music is perfect well done to all quality customers can be eating each riff and note. They gave Us a fantastic guitar work, complex riffs, excellent structure and includes some keyboards  atmospheres too. Their proposal is going to all headbangers that liked so much of bands like: AMORPHIS,DARK TRANQUILTY, even IN FLAMES. We can define as TECHNO DEATH METAL. If you are into above mentioned bands , without doubt you like it so much. Great stuff.........................8/10

TERATOS: “TETRA CARCIOMA” CD-R 2005 – 7 TX – PERU (NEW REVIEW)

Step by step, the peruvian scene is growing up; some bands are doing great Works and offer us a good quality sound. This CD-r is showing how has growing the metal, music in Peru and Teratos is into of all band that want to give us a good product. His music is more focused into gore style, very influenced by Mortician, Disgorce or anything else. This kind of metal is very well accepted here, and they together another Peruvian gore bands called NARKAN and GORE is fighting to leadership of the gore scene in Peru. Talking about this musical work. It´s contain a few musical arragenments grind riffs, and basic rhythms. It´s so easy to do, but I stay satisfied with his work yet. The band is based on Lima-Peru and all people that like this kind stuff must to be writing now!!! Because the stuff is recommended and sound good………………..7/10

THRONEUM:’DECADE OF NECROSTUPRUMICAL MADNESS’-CD 2006-USA-23 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

ARGH!!! Someone’s remember IMPERATOR band, YEZZ!!! If you had the chance to heard it, you know what talk about it. THRONEUM is a band well recknowed into the death metal scene, they comes from POLAND the same land than these gods called IMPERATOR and their music is oriented to old death thrash metal music which bands like BUNDESHWERA, KAT or IMPERATOR sometime ago they have playing. The music is very simple, raw and strength, also they’re sounded chaotic and have elements a la NUNSLAUGHTER too, I give you this example , because the music it’s extremely death metal and the arrangements are too short, have only 3 or 4 rhythm changes…They’re to gave Us a decent old death metal music which all maniacs could hear it and eat it. If I can add anything else could be simple but very effective…good product……………………………………………………………………………...7.8/10

Thanx to RENZO PARODI from PSICOTERROR ZINE who gave me this release and give the chance to come back to 80’s years and hear hard, metal and roll again. The music here is so strange, I guess that EL DUCE must be getting anything of dominatrix to get pleasure , because he have only one obsession the SEX and rape. So I can notice that the band are SEXUAL DEPRAVITIES!!!Well, they comes from MENTORS band, do you remember this old band???And as you know his music was based upon hard, metal and roll riffs. YEZZZ!!! For this reason it’s so difficult to do a review or catalogue his sound. Anyway the lyrical part are focused on the carnal pleasures, women’s and heterosexual topics…nothing else to add……………………………6.5/10

Just when SLAYER band will arriving soon on South-American lands this release can’t be out in a better time. HURLING METAL RCDS from ARGENTINA has released in this chance a good quality product, showing how ARGENTINAN bands are giving tribute to the speed/thrash/core masters. AL SUR DEL ABISMO it contains 17 th tracks well played, perhaps the best tracks can be to the first SLAYER album and the bands that are playing all classic tunes are OSAMENTA ‘BLACK MAGIC’, RENACER ‘DIE BY SWORD’, and DEVASTACION ‘EVIL HAS NO BOUNDARIES’, but also it contains great classics like NECROPHILIAC ‘NECROPHILIAC’, ASINESIA ‘ANGEL OF DEATH’, EXTHREMONY ‘HELL AWAITS’ & CARNICERIA ‘RAINING BLOOD’. I must to accept my whorship to SLAYER but I sincerely I believe that also must be include it ‘TORMENTOR’ track that it’s the best track of the band. And some arrangements of the bands has lost some perspectives to introduce synth parts, but the complete set list it’s ok. Well if you’re a really fan of this amazing great cult band only get it now. TRAUMA: ‘Memories of pain’- CDR Promotional stuff 2005- Peru.-(NEW REVIEW)
High quality band which it’s hailing from Peruvian lands and they have a large way into peruvian thrash scene, but recently they has put out they first album and it is not surprise to me because for the great quality of musicians and good work on tracks structure. I knew that will give us a good and product. then I know that they have a good compositions, very worked full of rhythm changes and anything else, the guitar are sounded powerful, the guitar solo are great, but really I dont like so much this kind of style because the vocal parts are reminds me to Pantera singer(it s equal), a lot of riffs are sounded as Pantera too, it is no original, but who`s care, also I guess that they are doing tribute to Pantera guitar player (RIP) if you are into Panterathrash and you are Pantera fan ,it is for you!!!

From the same land than Nargaroth comes another almighty band called Total Hate. In this time comes full of hate and worpshipper of the true satanic feel. Well let`s go to start with their musical proposal, it’s a faster band, crude, hateful, primitive and simple. I can perceive some Nargaroth influences too, so when I talk about of his influences that´s I believe which German Black metal has put out their own label, and many bands have the same way than ones, talking about this stuff I can say that it´s has been based over previous demos´s released some years ago and combined with 3 unreleased track as bonus. The musical quality os low, the feelings it’s great, satanic atmosphere only for true worpshipper of the black art the production it’s fine with good presentation. THY ANTICHRIST: ‘Wicked testimonies’- CD 2004 -12 tx- Colombia (Tribulation REC).-(NEW REVIEW)
Another great band that comes from Colombia and play black metal too. I knew this band their first release. One split CD together with Utuk Xul band and these chance I was surprised by this great musical proposal very raw faster and explicit. Some years later I have on my hands “Wicked testimonies”, their most recently work that is continuing with the same proposal even more technic than ever. Once again I get the same sensation so I can saw that they are running over Gorgoroth way but also included some own characteristic as their lyrics based on Hector Escobar texts that combine perfectly with their faster riffs and excellent melodic rhythms very cruel, when I say melodic this is not soft stuff .therefore, they’re sounded very strong the vocals parts are similar than Utuk Xul and his music almost is equal too but consider this stuff as very good and all black metallers are strongly urged to get it write to tribulacion666@geo.net.com or check www.thyantichrist.666.cjb.net
