PAGAN ALTAR.-‘LORDS OF HYPOCRISY’-CD 2004.- Great!!! Fuckin’ Gods!!! In the last issue I dedicated an review over them, How I said in this time, I grow up with this fuckin’ music ( BLACK SABBATH, ANGEL WITCH, MANILLA ROAD) & I believe that PAGAN ALTAR, is following the saga’s. They’re reminds me to great 70’s acts, maybe some 80’s tunes, along with TROUBLE, PENTAGRAM, or ST. VITUS. Now I believe which some people dislike about this kind of stuff, but I liked so much, I love’em!!! You can get interestin’ atmosphere, dark ambient and godly vocals like OZZY OSBOURNE (Black Sabbath times). Each track are just rough and Heavy, Classical Rock’n Roll, in the same vein than heavy metal masters. No more words!!!! If you’re into above mentioned and other 70’s classical bands. PAGAN ALTAR.-'VOL 1'-CD 1998-7 TRACKS (REMASTERIZED VERSION)-UK I thought that this kind of bands is dead,but surprised,was reborn…PAGAN ALTAR was influenced by the older tunes like 'Rocka rolla'(Judas priest),'Paranoid'(black Sabbath),Saint vitus and Tyger of pan tang' and all bands of NWOBHM.Their sound has reminds me when I've began in this music,about of 25 years ago.The music have their mystic and own heavyness,full of clearly riffing guitar.I'm so glad to listen this fuckin' CD.I founded this Cd like the only one in this style(I don't know of others NWOBHM still alive).Well,this work is done since 1978 and 1981(Compilation stuff),but was recorded on 1998 and contain 7 tracks,all of them with the same sound and inspiration,simply great!!!PAGAN ALTAR is still active too!!!They have an 7'' Ep and comin' soon their new stuff with the same older feelin'.This stuff is to all fuckin' ancient heavy rock fans.ah!!!forget it the best track is 'REINCARNATION'. ........................................................................................... 8.0/10 |

PAGAPU-‘WAR’-CD-R 2005-PERU-4 TRAX (NEW REVIEW) Hell headbangers I want to introduce in this time to the best black/pagan metal band emergin’ from the deepest of PERU .YEZZ!!! As you can read it PAGAPU it’s the best Pagan metal band from PERU. definetely JOHN KARMA has forget his old band called SARCOMA from 90’s years, in this chance his music has moved 180° and Now we can find interesting riffs, excellent vocal work and powerful rhythm changes, very influenced by AYAHUAURA (another great band from HUANCAYO-PERU). I’m very impressed by the high quality of composing & tracks structures, his music is simple but very strange, this guy combine Black/Pagan/Death/thrash, I can recognize which PAGAPU and others band from HUANCAYO are the unique & only black metal bands with Own sound in this land called PERU. this stuff is highly recommended...GREAT!!! ...........................................................8/10 |

PAGAPU/SARCOMA.-'SPLIT CDR-2004-PERU-11 TRAX Well,this is an interesting product,I really say that PAGAPU is extremely interesting,the best band of this split Cd.This band present Us 'ARTE,MAGIA,y SANGRE'.3 tracks+intro of Black/death music with an original touchs that made of this stuff highly recommended.PAGAPU follow the steps from AYAHUAIRA. 'SANGRE Y MUERTE ' is the best track,fast,intense with rhythm changes,but I don't like so much the vocal parts. DIAS DE IRA the last tune is a good track too.Their music influences are confused because They have Own sound.One point to say,please,is urgent to all peruvian bands,We need strongly urgent an engineer sound,now ! ! ! ...............................................................................8/10 Taalking about of SARCOMA,this band is older,They don't play nevermore.This recorded was done a few years ago.'PRELUDIO DE MORTANDAD Y AGONIA' is remasterized and have 6 tracks+intro of pure Peruvian death sound.They've played sabbatical doomy riffs which combine with faster drummer and regurgitate vocals parts.each track is heaviness and sick...is a good stuff.that's all...............................................................................................................7.5/10 |

PERDITOR.-IN SIGNO SUO'-PROMO CD 2003-ORDEALIS RCDS Really,really raw,proud,grind and black metal.Crude,all in the old school.I believe that they've comes from Netherlands.This stuff which ORDEALIS RCDS has present Us,will contain five tracks are very intense with a blasphemous voice and faster drummin'.each track is faster with simple guitar riffs but very effective.this product is interest and definitely is a record taht make you pissed on your paints.jajaja ! ! !This guys combine a cool style between black & death metal and rescue the best from both,too ! ! !This band not be the best band in the world but is a good alternative to get jump to hell ! ! !Great production of this. ..................................................... 8.5/10 |

PERISHED 'SEID'-2003 I'm surprised with this band that send us NORWAY,because don't have the typical norge sound.it's influenced by ENSLAVED and BLOODTHORN,their music is defined like Death/viking/black metal.is not original but have all ingredients that do that each band from NORWAY will be heard so serious. Sometimes I found an inspiration of the last works of MAYHEM (Ex-GODS ! ! !). it is a good work and interesting musical and lyrical,but not more. ...................................................... 8.0/10 |

PIMENTOLA.-‘TUONI PAULOO TIUKOIN SITEIN’-MCD 2004-3 TRAX.- It’s not typical metal band; it’s a dark, symphonic, opheristic sound track movies. YEZZ!!! ‘TUONI PAULOO TIUKOIN SITEIN’ is only soundtrack of terror/horror films. Being a interesting product, well conceived, combined the terror atmosphere with avant garde parts. From the first track he takes the dark melodies doing an excellent mix with symphonic tunes, giving emphasis on the power of tracks. Talking about the musical influences, I believe which you must heard it to have an own idea. PRION.-‘TIME OF PLAGUES’-CD 2003-ARGENTINA-9 TRACKS.- uurrrgggghhhh!!! Some couples of years I thought that ARGENTINAN scene can be HEAVY METAL land ,from this side of The world, But I changed each day my vision of this. I ‘ve listened technic, brutality, excellent guitar riffings, melodies, etc. That shock me!!! I believe which ARGENTINA should be satisfied with work of your bands; PRION is a great death metal band that combines brutality, technic and 65% of south-American feelin’. I listened all tracks and can say all is well conceived, well structured and they will be the next death gods hail from ARGENTINA like MASTIFAL(other great death band!!!). I wait the next work to do an excellent comments over them ‘cause I think they claimed his throne your next stuff. Anyway, I want recommended this stuff ‘cause their proposal is good, are excellent musicians, and makes a great job, they’re a good reflect of ARGENTINA death metal bands!!! Keep’n checked on!!! PROFANE SOULS-‘ABOUT EVIL REMAINDER-D.TAPE-BRAZIL (NEW REVIEW) CORUMBA not is a represntative Black metal city from BRAZIL, but Now is another place to have Our eyes well opened in this city. PROFANE SOULS show us a obscure,melodic, mysterious black metal, where their influences are combined in perfect harmonies and insane desires by 3 sickness minds. They has have a correct musical conception, full of pleasure & sadism. Doing each track a good work. In this tape you’ll find out fast parts, mid-tempo together with well ejecuted synths, dark rhythms & extremely melodies too!!!. This band also makes a excellent atmospheres these that comin’ from the glorious years of HELLAS scene. So they was rescue the harmonies and mixed with Brazilian feels, Offer us a cruel & profane music. Their sound can be compared between MALKUTH/VARATHRON, but the dissapointed it’s a poor quality of sound. I hope hear anything better recorded as soon as possible to do an good review. PROPHECY.-‘OUR DOMAIN’-CD-R DEMO 2004-10 TRAX-USA Insane & splatterish grind stuff hail from USA. The trax are short but played over 100 mph, great grind spirit and technic. Tracks like ‘BEATEN, BROKEN & BUTCHERED’ , ‘GURLING MENSTRUAL PHLEGM’ some intense & most lascivous beats. This band has influence on splatterish porn bands, based on shit & pussy’s. PROFANE. “DEATH & ROLL FROM HELL” CD-R PARAGUAY -2004 (NEW REVIEW) Members of the most important death metal band from Paraguay called slow agony, they has stopped his activities and it was formed PROFANE.His proposal it’s a fresh death style , playing around of metal & rock n roll borders but always mixing with the heavy metal that contains the death metal music . its so strange because nobody’s simply can call it as death metal or rock n roll . anyway it contain a guitar riffs are simply and the tracks structure it so easy to hear it . the best thing , it’s a great quality of musicians because they’re sounded very solid and have a perfect accomplishment as band . interesting proposal………………………………………………………..6.8/10 |

PANTEON:’JUZGA A TU PUEBLO’-CD- 7 TRACKS-
ARGENTINA (NEW REVIEW) This is an album I was awaiting for a long time. I had contact with this band some years ago but never I had the chance to listen their stuff, after some years I can to know how are playing!!! As you can see by the name, the band is playing a version of Death/black mtal path with some aspects of heavy metal. The music it’s contain a full of synths atmospheres, sometimes are busy of them but others are sounded original too. They have speed, mid tempo and cool variations that does of that a strong album. PATAN : “ACERO” CD 2005 – ARGENTINA – 9 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)
Argentina always has sounded very influenced by true heavy metal music some
years ago they has had some great acts like: V8, horcas and hermetica. Patan
is rescue these old sound and glories to give it to his music more strong
mixed with a fresh heavy harmonies can be to do to patan a new great heavy
band . they have a perfect harmony, great quality of musicians , all tracks
are well structured and goes at the same precision. The vocalist is using the
same attitude and fashion that old veteran heavy metal god ¨Rob Halford¨ the
musical rhythm has took the 80´s heavy metal feelin´ supported by a new
blood , the guitar solo´s are great and showed a perfect guitar work
players. It’s a solid band. talking about his influences I can mentioned
only one :judas priest recommended to all heavy metal lovers, this stuff is

PHALLUS OF GOD:’IN ONE EAR AND OUT YOUR MOTHER.PROMO CD 2005 (NEW REVIEW)
This band separately of a strange name will doing a strange name too.I said
that ‘coz their could be consider from atmospheric until death metal and as
many things put like name, because they’re mixing all tendencies in only one
way. Well, musically They have a strong vocals part and differents
combinations as strange parts, but all basic involved metal inside. Here, I
don’t know which are their influences , only I can find innovations, in the
conception of the themes are so well done. Some riffs are sounded like a
MENTORS and GOATLORD. I think this can be the best description about their
musical path. If you’re interested in heaviest, death, atmospheric and all
the strange musical ways, this stuff is for your ears!!!................................................................7.3/10 |

PROFANE OMEN:’ADRENALINE/ENEMIES’-MCD-2005-3 TRAX (NEW REVIEW) Well, well, this sound again…I believe that it have buried some years ago, but I think that it’s for all the tastes into metal music. Well, we’re going without more Intro to introduce this band. Definitely is more easy for me to say PANTERA to explain about their musical way.it’s all!!! I never go grateful to this sound by this I don’t have many words about this, but I must to say that this stuff can be better than PANTERA , because they’re mixing some interesting heavy riffs with some Thrash/speed parts, all done to headbanging and mosh, but the disappointed comes in the vocal parts, this sound a la PANTERA…it sucks!!! The best thing here is the melodies and harmonies parts, they have a good conection like a band…nothing memorable………………………....6.3/10 |

PSICODEATH:’DEATH KULT’.CD-R-2006-BRAZIL-5 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)
RENE (Bass player) , when he arrived together DOMINUS PRAELII, he gift me
this release of their band project ,and this is very different to their
heavy stuff made from DOMINUS PRAELII. As you can read by the name, you can
have an idea as they’re playing, only 80’s death metal inspired. Basically
their roots comes from old BRAZILIAN death stuff. The present release it
contains some old tracks previously recorded on tape format, called ‘WELCOME
TO DEATH’, released at the 2002, after comes 2 tracks also recorded at the
2003 and produced in the present year. The band plays slow/mid tempo death
metal, in the most pure essence with good guitar work and strongest vocals,
that proof their cult to the death. Also I can affirm that they aren’t like
any death metal band, they have gained his own respect in the Brazilian

PACTUM:’HATE, EVIL AND ARROGANCE’.-EP-CD-R.2005-BRAZIL-3 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) How I can begin this fuckin’ review…Well, after the successful album entitled ‘STAINING THE VEILS….’ Previously reviewed at the HEADBANGER ZINE issue 7. finally , comes their latest opus ‘HATE, EVIL AND ARROGANCE’ , I supposed that all people around of black metal scene all this time kept a great hope that their last release will be killer and I can a sure when you hear it your life nevermore will be the same; because the band give Us extreme black metal conceived by satanic minds with great improved, high technic and strong hateful vocals parts. This Ep have only three tracks in, all of them well played with chaotic riffs, very faster even only black metal can do. perhaps, They can be influenced by some NORSE and SWEDEN tunes too.But They have added his own sound and identity. As usual in black metal bands the lyrical parts only were writing upon satanic texts and feels against of judeo and Christian religion. The best track for my point of view is BLOOD FIRE DEATH (BATHORY’S COVER). Sincerely, it’s fuckin’ great. The disappointed is which this release has been pressed on CD-R format and I will hope a professional Cd printed……………….8.5/10 |
