BAPHOMETSTHRONE.-'SPIRITUAL EVIL'-DEMO CD-2004-4 TRAX-POLAND Excellent and very well done Black metal.I told you that'cause those guys played excellent riff with a perfect mix between Black metal & Death metal music.In fact,I'm going to say ,this band is the most important from POLAND since GRAVELAND and BEHEMOTH.just,their sound is influenced by BEHEMOTH and the keyboards givin' an ritualistic atmosphere,get take your sould and fly to your own hell!!!tracks like 'SPIRITUAL EVIL' or 'BITEWNY ZQIETK' show Us a mature band,who knowed very well their instruments and get extrem melodies and heaviness guitar riffs.The vocal parts are raw,stronger in just about you wanted.I can say,is a good promo CD,may sound good,but the record level is extremely blackest.is to all Blackdeathbangers www.geocities.com/bapthrone ......... 8.5/10 |

BENIGHTED ‘HELJARFOR’-PROMO CD 2003-SWEDEN This band comes from Sweden,we must say it because exist other in france and USA.musically they go for the path of black metal of the 80’s of BATHORY not the epic if not the one that have 5 rhythm changes by song.adding the typic nordic sound of ENSLAVED or the first BURZUM.The promo CD ‘HELJARFOR' have 4 tracks of deeply riffs,not technics but eyes with the obscurity that they want.They’ve that mid tempo and fast like a perfect mix.The only bad thing is the leght of the first them like a 9 minutes.is too long and don’t have a lot of rythm variant,is a bit boring.the other tracks is ok. ... 8 / 10 e-mail : benighted@email.com |

BENIGHTED 'PSYCHOSE'-2002 Another french band,different to others,this one have variation of found Death/Black/grind sounds.going from vocals parts,gutturals to sharp riffs with good changes of sound.good work of the drumer.but I don't like a lot of mixing of styles because I think that the member don't know what they want.'PSYCHOSE' give Us 13 tracks,fast,with good work and with good rythm changes but this don't is nothing of the other world.Interesting... 7.5 / 10 |

BESTIA - "HALLUTSINATSIOON" - CD 2004 - 11 TRACKS - ESTONIA (NEW REVIEW) I think that I will not use all the words that I want in this review. About this work they produce an interesting proposal of mixture of forces that go more there of death and black metal, here are possible even to be found passages of nordics touches and viking metal doing of their music a perfect combination of styles; uniting harmoniously to derive in which it is Beast. A brutal band that accompanied by strong guitars by riffs in sound and Viking melodies by a glorious past, with an atmosphere of perfect connection of keyboards that support the fast changes of rate, giving a perfect push to the music. review,because this band is an experiment of some lines of metal.For moments
can be like DARKTHRONE,for other MERCYFUL FATE to be more exactly to KING
DIAMOND,then go to BLACK SABBATH,to end in MENTORS or CIRITH UNGOL(a great
band of 80’s).musically I don’t know where they want to go but are
interesting their proposals.this promo have 2 covers.one of MENTORS ‘UP THE
DOSE’,excellent done and SIGH’NOTHING UNUSUAL’.if you want to hear a band
that that go from the heavy metal to the black with an only one ofchange
riffs,this is for you ;like the vocal parts ;from a grave tune to sing like

BLOODPARADE: “PAIN EXPOSED”-CD 2005-ARGENTINA-11 TRAX (NEW REVIEW) Here it comes a new ARGENTINAN metal band its more focused into commercial stuff, then I can define his music like gothic and vampirism metal. At the time also it contain a bit of techno music even disco too. His music is very rhythmic and soft, specially to dance, also include a female vocals with a good work that comes in perfect harmony with his music. Another thing, they’re sounded extremely soft that reminds me to the first works of THEATRE OF TRAGEDY and the last one of KATATONIA, its very mixed. The best thing here it’s the high quality of musicians and the worst thing, the sweet voice of her singer…………………………………………………………………………………6.5/10 |

BLOODTHRONE - ‘SHIELD OF HATE’ ADV-CD 2003 this Adv-cd is a good work,that bring us this excellent bad from USA.Their style is not the typical american black/death metal,here you will find riffs inspired in the Assian South east style of bands like KIBOUSH OR IMPIETY,with a raw vocals and cruelty.the guitars with simple riffs but ripping and a good job of drums.I think that a black/death american band,this is one of the best and this adv.cd show it.All tracks have a same power and vitality.very good ! ! ! .... 8 / 10 |

equal.They play too good but don't have originality and this is not an

BESTIAL: “BESTIAL DIVISION/LIVE IN IZHEVSK” TAPE 2004 – RUSSSIA – 15 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) I´ m not satisfied with this work!!! I´ ve heard some previous bestial stuff and his sound was great, but in this time I´ ve saw a boring stuff. What´ s going now? Now a days, many band prefer to do some experiments into me the black metal way, I told you this because “bestial division” offer us black/death/thrash/industrial/techno music, it´ s will contain all heavy metal tendencies & others. They´ re a enigma??? It´ s so strange!!!I Can´ t understood, only catalogue his music style as very volatile and I dislike it. I want to say to Bestial which ones, they´ re need to know where they want to go like a band and offer us a best product. Can be better!!! ………………………………………………………….6.3/10 |

I’ve never heard this band before, but when I
got their stuff I stayed totally thanxful with their work. When I talk about
to thanxful, it’s for only one reason, it’s for the excellent stuff and
excellent musical quality. Anyway I was looking for bands that render
tribute to old 80’s thrash sound and BETRAYAL , offer Us the perfect show
like sound a thrash band . About their sound, the main influence that we can
find is represent to all 80’s bay area bands like: VIOLENCE, SACRED REICH
and the amazing WHIPLASH, with this influences, do you have in mind How’s
the band sound?Well, if you need more info you must get it!!! Musically the
band have produced excellent guitar rhythms that go from up to down with
great technic, the break and solo’s are perfectly well done, it’s great….only
for thrash metal lovers……………………...7.5/10 |

BEGODDEN MIST:’AT LEAST IS MY NOTHING’-PROMO CD 2005-11 TRAX-UK (NEW REVIEW) How we can qualify to metal band that has forgot their own metal roots. Maybe for only a few metal riffs or some strong beats…the truth they can’t deserve this qualify. In fact BEGODDEN MIST , musically they must be qualify as DEPRESSIVE even NEW WAVE. Because they have similar musical tastes totally in opposition to metal way. They’re influenced by BAUHAUS, MY DYING BRIDE because their rhythms, beats. Musical structures are similar, and I guess that they’re giving tribute to all bands that I above mentioned. It’s a hard give to opinion, because I dislike this kind of stuff, and I can to say that this guys don’t be called Metal……………………………………….5/10 |

BENIGHTED:’AVGRUNDSHJARTA’-DEMO CD 2005-4 TRACKS-SWEDEN (NEW REVIEW)
In their last work HELJARFOR, they showed a
great performance and great capability for their way and feel to play BLACK
METAL music. Now, this demonstration go to the point of leave me complety
satisfied and extasis, I really I stay wondered with this new stuff. Each
track has the exactly dose of speed, where the cool riffs and raw have all
freedom, walking at the dark ways and hard melodies. For someone’s maybe
this can’t be too much effort for a new band, but in the way, I ‘m looking
for some bands when I hear it I stay complety satisfied and excited and this
work has got turn me on…The perfect track selection, the good accomplishment
of the musicians with exactly track times, it’s a pleasure…. When I hear ‘AVGRUNDSHJARTA’,it
takes me to the high cult of BLACK METAL masters like : BATHORY, really I
consider BENIGHTED like a new BATHORY sons… also I can add his whorship to
OBSCURITY and BURZUM way… it’s a best work of the 2005 year…great!!! The
tracks are very extense, running time 42 minutes to 4 tracks only….get it
now!!!...8.5/10 |

BLODEN WEDD:’EYE OF HORUS’-CD 2005-10 TRAX (NEW REVIEW) UFFFF!!! Great musicians, great work, great compositions, great rhythms, great guitar solo’s, great melodies…But here I found only a commercial POWER metal, and that’s all…all the greats things here,are lost in only few minutes. Well, also we can find some interesting rhythms , very inspired on epic battles, where the guitar manages in total freedom, giving melodies of ancient battles, where the vocals parts are bad done…the musical quality it’s great but the music is awful………well another thing to add; BLODEN WEED reminds me to STRATOVARIOUS or KAMELOT too…………7/10 www.risestar.cl |

This came to South-america on a tour some months
ago, playing in several cities from PERU, but Unfortunately we can’t
appreciate it because they don’t played in the capital LIMA. Where I live;
but I got this Cd edited by the record label of the great friend… John /
Jill mackentee from INCANATION and FUNERUS band…I ‘m talking about IBEXMOON
RECORDS, they has only edit great bands like: THORNAFIRE, ESTUARY and their
own band called FUNERUS, well, Now BLOODY SIGN it’s following at the same
way of brutality and pure death metal cult., they are playing with totally
manage showing a perfectly accomplished band, where the musical structures
describe parables with good rhythm changes all in the morbid death metal
tunes. I can find some MORBID ANGEL’S influences too. All tracks are going
to the same way only death metal and more death metal….I dislike to talk
about of tracks, because In fact all are so good and I can’t leave to say
that it’s album it’s great…all tracks are recommended it…only I want to say
:hear it on high volume!!!!.............................7.5/10 |

(NEW REVIEW) When I listen some new bands that comes from South american lands I appreciate it so much, because I see as the actual scene is grew up to big steps and it’s the best if they has coming from a small scene as Bolivia.They’re doing more stronger and recognize their country and scene Well, talking about his sound, really I can define as death doom metal, something as the first works of Ceremonial serenade (other bolivian band) and Bemdesar, the riffs are very doomy , the vocals part are stronger and powerful but it`s not developed or complex, the rhythm changes are specially melancholic but at least death metal too, I stay agree with this stuff do, I can recommend it to all doom/death metal fans write to: beyonddeath_bol@hotmail.com 6.5/10 |

BLASTER / DESTROYER: ‘Alcoholic rites of
metal’- split demo tape 2005 –Colombia.-
(NEW REVIEW) Here it comes a great split tape with two Colombian thrash bands, specially I want to talk about Destroyer work without doubt his job in this split is marvelous, they are playing old 80´s thrash metal very influenced by old thrash cult like Destruction even Kreator yeah! Almost perfect! They have some similar sound than Witchtrap, are playing these fast riffs, rhythmic vocals but very screaming. oh it’s pleasure, sure it’s great! Lately the Colombian thrash scene has gave us great bands and they are confirm that Colombian metal is a mature scene and one of the best of this side of the world. Talking about Blaster band it’s so different than Destroyer, it’s more focused to USA thrash metal sound musically, they are working so hard, riff are thrashing, crushing combined with good rhythm changes but the vocal part are boring and not so good, but it’s acceptable. Well I expect more of these bands but to do a better review, but in there near future it’s ok very good work. 8/10 |

2005-2 TRACKS:
(NEW REVIEW) From BRAZIL I’ve received another thrash strike again. This band is more focused to old bay area thrash metal and a bit of PANTERISH touches, considering the fact which BRAZIL is a land where the mainly bands are playing so brutal, it’s a bit strange which I received this stuff. About his musical way, we can hear it like a solid band, with several catchy rhythms and very rhythmic passages. Sometimes I can hear some AGRESSOR influences too and if you had the chance to check it out and hear it you know about I want to say. (NEW REVIEW) Damn it!!!! From Italy comes this demented guys that keeping the old school death black metal send us this blasphemy called Atomic ........ start with a great intro ATOMIC STORM INTRO, that prepare to massacre when start UNDERSKIN BLOOD IMPLOSION, I can mentioned many influences here, but the principal are beherith, sarcofago, blasphemy, impaled nazarene old, this song is a massacre the sick voices with great accomplishment, it’s a great track. all song have a high level the third song is called like the demo ATOMIC INFESTED CARNAGE, a great song too, continue THE RETURN OF BESTIAL VOMIT this song is in the vein of Sarcofago goddssss!!!! The beginning of this song make me remember satanic lust, is not the same riff or cloned riffs, but you can note that influence in this song, with a great and devastating guitar riffs, this maniacs must destroy in live with this song, total insanity produce this song, after this song start CACOPHONY DEATH METAL TERRORISM a good song with Sarcofago influences too but in the Rotting era like Sex Drink and metal but in their own style, after this songs come the tribute to his influences because they play covers start with Sarcofago and of course the SEX DRINK AND METAL with his own style, the riffs are good worked but the voice are pure and blasphemating scream agreat song maybe they play the rotting era because almost all band that play a song of Sarcofago just play the INRI era, well this was the best era but the later works are a great work too, after come with a cover of Blasphemy GODS OF WAR a great song but too short I think that you must listen this song is just the essence of the Blasphemy, and the last song coming is GRAVE DESECRATOR a song from Beherit wit a great work arrgghh the voice just vomited pure hate and blasphemy a great work in the guitar riffs well is a Beherit song i dont can agree more is one of my favorite song too, i think that you must find this demo buy or die if you want more info about this great band write to blasphemophagher@hotmail.com |
