SAHMAIN.-'SALIGIA'-CD 2003-7 TRAX-RUSIA Black metal band from RUSIA. YEZZ!!! This Cd is pure fuckin' armageddon, I believe that they don't impressed on me 'Cause their work is poor. The tracks had elements only to black metal fans, classic and non innovative in the NORWEGIAN vein. It's no memorable, only bloody tracks, fsater, simples and crude. ........................................................................... 7/10 |

SAHMAIN.-'DE DOCTRINA DIABOLI'-CD 2004-10 TRAX-RUSIA I've noticed some progress than comparison before album, but it's relative, some trax has good structure and more rhythm changes, I still believe that production is awful, the sound is poor but is better than ever.only black metal and more NORWEGIAN black metal. .................................. 7/10 |

SARAM.-'METAL MAYHEM GENOCIDE'-PROMO TAPE 2004-5 TRAX-PERU When ROY NOIZER told me,about SARAM(their old band) was reborn,I was surprised and excited to listened again,but I must to say which I'm deceptioned about of this,because their music is good,but it's inspired to ANAL VOMIT(it's the same) and the unique and the only thing different,which is ERICK NEYRA the vocalist,that's influenced on GOAT SEMEN.Their sound it's no original but some tracks are attractive and totally enjoyable.the 5 trax,are into true alcoholic metal,Yeah no Female vocals,no keyboards,the same way that GOATSEMEN/ANAL VOMIT,I thought I found the old SARAM tunes,but is NOT!!!Now,they was returned with ANAL VOMIT feelin'. I believe something this fuckin' tape is OK.but not original yet!!!Checked SARAM stuff is to all alcoholic & ANAL VOMIT bangers,tracks like SATANS CALL,FROM THE PITS OF LIMA HELL are most representative tracks,this stuff is faster,crude,chaotic & savage.They're sounded like ANAL VOMIT mixed GOATSEMEN.If you're looking for PERUVIAN sound & ALCOHOLIC stuff this is for you!!! ...................................................... 7.5/10 |

SARGEIST 'SATANIC BLACK DEVOTION'-CD 2003 This is a project from only one man,member from the Black metal Gods 'HORNA' ! ! !I can consider this release,the best of the past year.I believe which MORIBUND RCDS,got signed this band like the best of their catalogue.Each track from this CD is very worked,don't exist comparison with HORNA,the sound is complety different,is a masterpiece ! ! !SATANIC BLACK DEVOTION is very heavy,very darkest,fast and furioius,only and supreme black Evil metal,is a own sound and I must admit which this work,don't let me sleep nevermore ! ! !If you want hear a Black metal cult band,with a sound like FINLAND black metal feelin' mix with NORDIC guitars.you're strongly Urged to get it now !!! ................................. 9.5/10 |

SCHMURTZ.-‘SALAIRE FACULTATI’-CDR-DEMO 2003-ITALY What I can say, How you can see above by the tittle, SCHMURTZ is H.C Punk band. Sometimes offer Us Fun, Mosh, & Slam. The tracks are short, faster & joke, nothing to enjoy it. I dislike stuff like this. If you are into H.C Punk from the principle 90’s that’s for you…………………….…5.5/10 |

SCARS:’IN NETHER HELL’-CD 2005-BRAZIL-6 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) I’ve received this CD only a few days before finish the present issue. I would to add that I’ve stayed gratefully. Well, start with the review. They are another Brazilian band at the same way than SLAYER and this chance they present Us his second release and it will contain 6 track of excellent thrash metal. I must to start by the art cover, it was perfectly done, very professional and includes the DORE cartoons inside too.The quality sound is good and about their musical path HEADBANGER is catalogue as simply Thrash metal, very well executed. I notice some slayerish influences a la REIGN IN BLOOD and SOUTH OF HEAVEN , specially in the ‘LEGIONS’ (FORGOTTEN BY GODS) track. So I must to recognize that all tracks are very well structured.if you’re a thrash metal lover you must be get it!!!.................................................8/10 |

SEPULCRO: 'SEPULCHRAL VOICES'-CD 2006-PERU-12 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) It's another lost tapes from old Peruvian bands that came in released in a couple months, first was appearing MORTUORIO, HADEZ demo's & now SEPULCRO, a band with great success in 80's POWER/THRASH years, but after 2 demo's out they split up. Well after a brief intro I come back to the review. We must to start with the excellent production of this CD, This looks so good, it's simple but at the time you would be to 80's feelin', the musical sound has been better done than demo tapes with a good recording quality, mix and the end product it's quite ok. Talking about musical part, they was influenced by old POWER/THRASH metal, mid tempo with excellent riffs & melodic rhythms very powerful almost perfect to became of 80's years. They were together KRANIUM and MORTEM the most popular band of these years, inclusive they was played with WARPATH (80'S CHILEAN POWER METAL BAND). Anyway, also you will find out some bonus tracks too. All 80's people around are strongly urgent to get it… totally guaranteed………...7.4/10 |

SERPENT SOUL.-'BEYOND HUMANITY'-2004-4 TRACKS Really enjoyable CD, here a band complety inspired by godly Melodic death bands like AT THE GATES or AMORPHIS, will contain aggressive touches & melodic too!!! The music part is solid, heavyness and keep'n all melodic feelin'. Sometimes are soundin' brilliant and this is cool!!! SIGMA DRACONIS.-'DE RERUM NATURA'-PROMO CD 2004-10 TRAX-ITALY I thought that italian sound was dead,but SIGMA DRACONIS show Us another thing.'DE RERUM NATURA' is a extremely Unholy black metal,well played with a lot of rhythm changes and High octane of intensity & cursed vocals.I found ABORYM/NOKTURNAL MORTUM remembrances with great musical structures,based on Black metal riffing,also keyboards supported them!!!Sometimes their tracks is sounded equal but I'm satisfied with this work.Cool tracks are: 'Nightspell Under a funeral storm' & 'Innefable ode to a heretica convivium'.The sound is clear and blackest to all satanist cult.great promo Cd.great guitar work and all black metal fans should be satisfied. ..................................................8.0/10 www.sigma-draconis.com |

SIGN OF HATE: ‘REBEL OF SOULS OF CHAOS’-CD-R DEMO 2005- BRAZIL-7 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW) Sign of Hate is an extremely band of Death/Black metal from the best scene of all over the world YEZZZ!!! I told you this because his music can be similar to the older ones which emerged from the principle of 80’s black/death scene as SARCOFAGO. Their music is very inspired by BEHERIT and will contain SARCOFAGO riffs with faster drum work but always are keepin’ the death metal blood.Since 2 years ago I always received some mails & shows flyers from this band, but recently I had the chance to get this stuff & I stay totally glad with this sound. These guys offer Us faster & more intense death metal, nothing guttural, nothing grinding but very raw. Each trax will be contain chaotic riffs very influenced by BEHERIT rhythms. This stuff also contain a SARCOFAGO cover ‘ANTICHRIST’. This is perfectly played. ‘REBELS OF SOULS OF CHAOS’ is perfect show of extrem death metal with chaotic feelin’ into the true 80’s art. UURRGGH!!! I’m really glad to have on my hands this stuff. The present
release is comin’ from COLOMBIA, YEZZ!!! And I must to say that really 80’s
inspired on them.This guys offer Us, excellent quality sound, excellent
compositing technic and older proposal, feel the fire from the deep within’
of your owner hell. They’re giving tribute to older bands like VENOM,
RUNNING WILD, BULLDOZER, being with WITCHTRAP, both COLOMBIAN bands with
ancient sound. Their sound, really influenced by RUNNING WILD and explore
the border of speed/thrash metal that people alot, believe it or die!!! (I
don’t listen bands with this sound since 80’s years), and combine Thrash
metal riffing, technic and very inspired 80’s vision.The drumms part reminds
me to RUNNING WILD and the vocal parts, without doubt are OVERKILL feel.
Some tracks are BETRAYER, EVIL HORDE, makes that you’ll be love’em.

SODAMNED.-‘ON THE GALLOWS’-CD 2002-8 TRACKS-BRAZIL.- SODAMNED is an old Brazilian deathrash metal sounding band. The aggressive riffs, faster drums, guttural vocals, perfectly combination with thrashing rhythm changes. Extreme music playin’ around old style, Underground. I think all in this complete CD is all right, At times I remember old times with tears in my eyes and I wish come back to these times. I believe which young people must be hear it to known more about 80’s death sound. SODAMNED is the most aggressive and extreme death cult inspired on 80’s years, lately. I’ll hope see in near future an LP or Cd release from them. Highly recommended to 80’s brazilian fans...............................8/10 |

STATIK MAJIK.-'BE MAGIC'-PROMO CD-2003-4 TRAX-BRAZIL They fuckin'rules!!!is the most impotant heavy rock band came out from Brazil nowadays.I was surprised with their sound,What can anyone say about them,the music is highly influenced by CANDLEMASS,BLACK SABBATH,and old-TROUBLE with some hippies touches and intense melodies.When I listen STATIK MAJIK,really I feel that I was Flying to the past.Tracks like 'SLAVES OF GREED' or 'RECATTA MUNDI' is full of creative music and I think that STATIK MAJIK is soon to signed an great record deal. 'BE MAGIC' is an excellent Promo CD inspired from the early 80's years sound,with excellent vocal parts,very heavy,maybe is called progressive heavy metal.I supposed you could say when you listened to them!!!This bands are GODS!!!I wouldn't say which track is better or worse,all tracks are recommendable.simply great!!! ....................... 8.5/10 |

STATIK MAJIK.-‘UTOPIA SUNRISE’-CD-R DEMO 2004-BRAZIL-6 TRAX Supreme, really Wonderful stuff!!! Great!!! In the last issue I reviewed over ‘BE MAGIC’ demo 2003, with great sucess, but I want to say which this work is the best!!! Excellent guitar work, great vocal work too, and the tracks are complex, well structured and cosmic riff, are incredibles. STATIK MAJIK must signed a contract deal now!!! Their sound is continued the same way than ever, TROUBLE, PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH & CANDLEMASS are some influences that you’ll get hear it. ‘UTOPIA SUNRISE’ is going to be the best promo of the present year like Heavy metal stuff. This masterpiece has got that I come back to my roots. I like so much their work, the perfect harmony, the rhythm changes, etc, you’ll enjoy it!!! Some trax are ‘THE LAST SALVATION’, ‘UTOPIA SUNRISE’, ‘BURNOUT’, ‘PARADOX OF SELF EXISTENCE’ ( purplerish vein) & ‘DREADFUL ECTASY’ (it’s best!!!) with TROUBLE/SABBATH feelin’. Sincerely I believe that STATIK MAJIK is to all true Heavy Bangers that borned with 70/80’s sound. GREAT!!! SURROGOAT "LANDSCAPE OF CONDOLENCE" - CD 2004 - 6 TRACKS - ESTONIA (NEW REVIEW) This is a band that has a sound between Edge of Sanity/Carcass/Pungent Stench, where combinate deathrash/Grind, with high quality of riffs and fast rates, those that make you do headbanging & mosh. I am convinced of the great level of bands of Estonia and Surrogoat demonstrates me what they can offer to the underground world.
