NAHUAL.-' MASSIVE ONSLAUGHT FROM HELL'-CD 2004-PERU-9 TRAX

This is the second time that I'm writing over them; in these chance I've had mentioned on the 'TRIUMPH OF THE BLACK HEARTS'-demo 2002 in the TESTAMENT MAG with a small article, but Now I want to talk about of their new work 'MASSIVE ONSLAUGHT FROM HELL'. When I've listened all tracks I must admit that these guys has effor a lot, but I still don't know about of their own sound, I'm continued listened the DARKTHRONE/MAYHEM sound, some tracks are doomy, others faster with good drum work. Everything that you need to know about of them, you should hear the following track, 'KARNINA & ARADIA (SATAN'S WHORES), I believe it's the best, it's very doomy,very hard,speed, it's great. The NAHUAL sound is it has to be as I believe it. Decent Black metal, based on NORWEGIAN black metal acts, but still this is an interesting album. NAKKIGA.-'IPARRARREN BELDUR'-TAPE 2003

After listening to several basque bands,I can asure that NAKKIGA is the rawest of them all,could be to the fact that members have all listen to many styles of music,from H.C punk to violent death metal and extrem Black metal.This production goes to the same line of MORTINATUM but with a lot more rawness in the sound.I received the CD of 'IPARRARREN BELDUR' tape that bring Us 7 fast tracks,with not so elaborated riffs but with great force & brutality,this tape comes with 2 covers one of GORGOROTH and the others from the UNLEASHED,pretty well done. good guitar & drum work.If we shall speak of influences of sound to NAKKIGA,I'll have to insist that it sounds like MORTINATUM,but a little less technical,but it's cruel and insane starting with 'ITZALAK'(Intro),all the way to 'ASKEN BARRASIA',speed violence, strenght deep and dark that would be NAKKIGA 100% extrem,a strongly urgent to get it. ........................................................................ 9.0/10

NAVATAGUSED KARJED "ESTONIAN EXTREME UNDERGROUND METAL COMPILATION" - CD 2004 - 18 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)

This a comp that have the best of the scene of Estonia, with a great view of all the styles that go from the industrial, black, death, avantgarde, etc. played of principle to end, we can be given account of many excellent bands like Mater Tenebra that professes crude black metal and Crom cold, cruel and wild. Passing through Meinardus and Bestia with blackdeath metal of optimal musical work, grind is not left of side by bands like Testicle Vomit aggressive of principle to end, powerful but as well dirty grind death of these distant earth. About death metal as unique style defined without mixture we appreciated to Kamaloga with death metal to the pure played style of northamerica, classic without no innovation, another important band is Hord also of the classic death metal. The industrial appears with Project IMP, abound the keyboards and industrial sounds not with my affability. Avantgarde of Irdhing cosmic, techno, etereal, hallucinating Irdhing with melodic keyboards to the atmospheres of the cruelty and bestiality of Realm Of Carnivora with an assassin black fast metal and furious blackdeath. Between your hands you will have a great example of the extreme Underground Estonian Scene, buy it!!!.

NAZGUL CD 2003

AARRGGHH ! ! ! this is a pleasure,is an excellent band.They comes from a country very pagan and obscure that gave to the black metal great acts like BULLDOZER, MORTUARY DRAPE and ABORYM.Although their music lack of own identity, because their sound is very similar to EMPEROR or to the same NOCTURNAL MORTUM.Each track is respect an opera of black metal with great work of riffs and synth,with a structure obscure melodic and complex. They’re great musicians.but I dislike in the vocal parts that do of a great music some boring the band must change the vocal parts accord to their style.musically is highly recommended but after heard it a lot of times is screamy on the vocal parts........................ 8.5/10

NEBEL 'HYMNS OF DESTRUCTION'-2002

Raw Black metal in the old school.Fast,long lesting and cutting.Violent by parts,with vocals to the old way ,but deeplyinfluenced by BATHORY and SODOM.Songs with a few musical arrangements but too directs,simples riffs but that go with their raw music.I'm satisfied with this kind of Black metal because they come back to the Sound of began like BATHORY,OBSCURITY and SODOM .Although others mags or webzine say that are too simply,I give to them a good future. ................................................................. 8.0/10

NECROSE VAGINAL/DESCOMPOSICION DE LA MIERDA-‘CD-R split-2005-BRAZIL-42 trax (NEW REVIEW)

N.V  played a terrorific death grind noise with two vocalist. The guttural voice is done by THIAGO (it’s comes from the putrid cemetary) & NATHALIA GRINDCORE with histerical touches. The split will contain a madness melodies & desesperate screams. Their music has got turned chaotic at the times with a grindcore base. This stuff is only to grind heads. If you like soft melodies you can buy the last Cd of DINO BRUGER or check it out the new  CENTURY catalogue (only muscik). D.D.M these guys reminds me to PREGNANCY, ROTTEN,MASTURBATOR, with a few differences, all tracks here have a only one minute ( or a half minute). It’s only GRINDCORE sung in 2 vocals. Guttural, shouts, screams, howlings or how you want to call it!!! total madness.......................................................................................................................6.2/10

NEHEMAH 'LIGHT OF A DEAD STAR'-CD 2002

If you consider yourself extremely black metal in heart,this CD is for your collection. Simple music,obscure,direct sometimes too heavy,good epic.The tracks are so good done with basic melodies of Nordic rythm MAYHEM, IMMORTAL, DARKTHRONE. With a cold atmosphere,full of obscurity.Each track of this CD is full of brutality.8 deeps tracks that will made you insane.'NEHEMAH IN VULVA INFERNUM' is the best track,good riffs,epic,colds ;have them the needed obscurity. good work of this french that are fightings since '92.it is edited by adipocere rcds. Ask for their work that is recommended.They have a last work which is edited in 2003. ......................................... 8.5/10

NEITHER.-'ELUSIVE WILL'-PROMO CD 2003-ITALY-4 TRAX

A lot of time has running since that I've had notice about of bands like that.I remember bands like ANTHRAX and others that played around of MODERN metal Rock.I must be admit this stuff is bored and sucks!!!'ELUSIVE WILL' is a moronic stuff, only to fuckin' thrashers that liked jumpin' or anything like that!!!is true!!!There's a lot of funny thrash metal,full chorus or hottest melodies.'REJECTION' and 'HELL CAN'T WAIT' are only good tracks.The guitar work is good but the riffs are awful,is too commercial heavy thrash.I don't like it!!!nothing memorable. ......................... 6/10  neither_aq@hotmail.com 

NERVOCHAOS.-‘QUARREL IN HELL’-PROMO CD 2004- BRAZIL-10 TRACKS.-

This band comes from a great scene almost the most famous from all over the world. YEZZ!!! NERVOCHAOS is the band of a great friend EDUARDO frontman & member of TUMBA RECORDS. ‘QUARREL IN HELL’ is an advance of their next release and beats on head with killer & faster melodies, very inspired by KRISIUN, BIOHAZARD, & MALEVOLENT, maybe some NILE riffs too. Musically is a good product but not is great album, the continue death metal are common and inspired on USA acts. I wait that old brazilian feelin’ still is here, keep’n alive, but doesn’t. A good point is brutality & thrashing influences, that makes of this a good work. Interesting stuff!!!.......................................................................................................7.5/10

NIRNAETH:’’THROWN ATHWART THE DARKNESS’’-CD 2006-FRANCE-9 TRACKS

Lately I have receiving a great black metal bands, all of them have a great develop besides. And this is the case of NIRNAETH, which in my opinion it’s the newest IMMORTAL of the present century. At least when I heard it I felt the same sensation that I had with my first contact with these NORSE band some time ago.Their musical path goes to extreme, faster, evil & raw, sometimes are melodic as ‘’At The heart of the winter’’, later can be sounded like ‘’PURE HOLOCAUST’’ even more IMMORTAL albums, but at time they have put out some interesting riffs in, Up and down, breaks and a few MARDUK touches. The best tracks are:ET NOX FACTA EST, BLACK METAL WRATH & NOTHING BUT ASHES. The band has taking seriously their career, and they showed me when their fast reply to my mail. Talking about the vocal part I can listen an excellent job, with a few screams and excellent background a la MARDUK& IMMORTAL singers. About their guitar work I believe which I don’t have anything to add, it’s sounding great!!! Well, I supposed that All extreme metallers are strongly urged to get it now!!! NOCTABULANT GRIMMESS - PROMO-CD

Excellent dutch band,with all the feeling dutch death metal mix with the greek sound of bands like MORTIFY,ROTTING CHRIST and PLEBOTOMY.the band have a good work in the rhythm parts,each theme have a musical structure full of good death metal riffs, mixed the heaviness with fast parts bring to the black metal,then sound is doom metal,that do of this band excellent.this demo has 3 tracks all in the same vein with a first track simply excellent,with a good work of the synth.’INSANE’,really very good.now this band has changed his name to simply ‘NOCTA’. ................................................. 8.5/10

NODENS:’ESPERANDO EL OTOÑO’-CD-R 2005-CHILE-10 TRACK (NEW REVIEW)
Another band that comes from CHILE, as you can supposed this guys also play a good music, doing to CHILE one the best place in South-America to play metal music. Talking about of his music can be define like a mix of TIAMAT (old) and SPIRITS OF THE COLD WATERS (PANAMA). I said that, because their music is a good doom/death metal, very rhythmic, very well done. The tracks structure has all ingredients to do a good product, some interesting variants, to mid tempo, melodic parts, doomy riffs & blablablabla!!! It’s a quite product!!! The present stuff had been released so time ago. But recently produced had been recorded on alive and the sound its good. Well, to finnish, I notice also some black metal influences and this production has gift Us like plus bonus some cover tracks like ‘WAR’ (BURZUM), REINCARNATION (HYPOCRISY’s) and ELIZABETH BATHORY’s (TORMENTOR)......................................................................................7.2/10

NOSFERATU:’RETURNING TO THE SLAUGHTER’.PROMO CD 2004-BRAZIL-6 TRACKS (NEW REVIEW)
HEY!!! All true 80’s headbanger’s check it this band. The old feeling has appear on the Brazilian scene again, first one DOMINUS PRAELII strike with their BASTARD AND KILLERS CD, after I listen DENIM AND LEATHER band and now, comes NOSFERATU with these 80’s touches and several time and many old tunes that you’ll come back to 80’s years again. Well ,Musically this guys offer Us only old heavy school, here you can find excellent tunes based on old IRON MAIDEN / ANGEL WITCH, OLD BRATS or early MERCYFUL FATE, with extense bases and good rhythm changes; basically the guitar sound it does help a lot, because they have put the same sound that above mentioned bands, Anyway, I believe that if you feel nostalgia about these old years, you must be get it and will stop your suffering ……………7.4/10

NOMINON:’RECREMATION’-CD 2005-SWEDEN -9 TRACKS-DEATHGASM RECORDS (NEW REVIEW)
I thought that old SWEDISH death metal was dead, but on this CD still alive the old feelin and music which all death metal lovers known about SWEDISH death metal which they gave to the world at the 80’s years, we’re speaking about bands like: NIHILIST, GRAVE, CARNAGE earlier DISMEMBER even MERCILESS. Well, NOMINON has got keep the true metal spirit added some news, but basically they still goes at the same way than above mentioned bands. The tracks are long, and it contain fast riffs, mid tempo parts, doomy parts with cool arrangements. The musical structures can be compared to DISMEMBER and ENTOMBED, I’m really glad to get this Cd, but I remember these old time with too sad. This stuff has been released under DEATHGASM records with a good production and the record sound it’s good too. If you are really SWEDISH death metal fan you must get it now..great stuff!!...........7.9/10

Excellent show of passion for the Black metal music. A good work that give Us this 3 way split Cd-r with bands very differents tendencies between darkness. The first band comes from FINLAND an as can’t be they plays only BLACK METAL, raw and pure.it’s influenced by the Norse Gods called DARK THRONE with these old sound…NECROVOMITOR show Us their devotion for this genre and deep love to the Evil master. The rhythm changes goes from extreme heaviness and loud that reminds me to old bands like: GOATLORD and DARK THRONE, the fast parts are complety darkness, excellent.

The next band comes from the earth of CORPSE MOLESTATION AND SLAUGHTER LORD called AUSTRALIA. The band is BLEAK FOREST; is an aggressive band very influenced by cruelty bands like TROLLECH and ANGEL CORPSE, diversifying their music between violent rhythms, crude and typical simply of HARDCORE finland bands. The band is darkness to highest but be lacking soundness, but is for the simples of their rhythms, even so is a good band, crude and wild, with breaks and rhythms up to down…good…

ANSUR is the last surrender of this saga. The band is played to mid paced, very simple in their riffs and tracks conception and they ‘re following the steps for the best NORDIC way, country of they come from. Their music is more crude, heavy and darkness but even so it’s more look come of the underground metal. Also you can find out strong influence by WATAIN and KOLDBRANN.it’s a good work.

NAHUAL: ‘Hail satanic Victory’- CD 2005-Peru -13 trx (A Sangre Fria Rec): (NEW REVIEW)
Who`s never heard about Nahual name, I guess that it`s band don’t need a intro, they are a popular black metal band with ten years of career and this stuff is a tribute that they has made it by themselves. ‘Hail satanic victory’, it’s contain some best track of previous Albums and unreleased tracks or different version than first ones, also included a sabbat’s cover version as bonus. Some new tracks are best worked than ever the musically quality it`s best and different than previous releases. the band has mature a lot. They will continue preaching his dismal black metal in each track, vocifering his total hate against christianity, just some track that I liked so much by the contents an musical work are ‘Antium, s fields’ and ‘Herodes’(sacrifice of bastard child) that gave us a great sensation I enjoy of great music and good rhythm changes that made of this cd a great stuff!!!

NEPENTE: ‘Ascension ‘-CD 2005 -5 tx -Colombia (Selfproduced).-(NEW REVIEW)
From the old times of Masacre’s ‘Requiem’ that I cant felt the same taste for the south American death metal and Nepente has turned that I come back to those old days and eat death metal again, their musical influences can be under the sign of Masacre and the polish band called Vader. Also it’s refreshed with a new blood almost, on the same way than Nile. Obviously that all tracks here are perfectly conceived with many great riffs and rhythms showing a mature band, very solid the musical variations it’s not original but very effective specially to do banging really this stuff is a great surprise into death metal scene, I looks a great future to this band good work, any contact to dazaesteban@yahoo.com

NEUROSIS: ‘Subversivos espirituales’ -CD 2005- Colombia (hateworks prod) .-(NEW REVIEW)
Many Colombians bands are well knew into death metal scene between all of them Neurosis is together Masacre and Internal Suffering are the most important inside they has put out some great releases previously, now they are present us their latest stuff entitled Subversivo........, being this album the most worked ever made for them, technically is clean, very well done, the tracks are almost perfect conceived so faster, mid tempo and bla bla bla .... really very developed, the high level of musicians guaranteed this product from the first track you can notice it, it’s extremely death metal therefore I guess that all death metals fans loved, once again Colombia death metal has took the leadership in this side of the world with his aggressive death metal at the same way than Internal Suffering, highly recommended.
