Realm is a world unlike ours, though we may think that we too have many races, our poor Earth is home only to one. . .Humans.  The color of skin does not define your race on Realm, save in the case of the Drow.  Of course there are as many different types of Humans on Realm as there are on Earth but other peoples live on Realm besides Humans.

    Realm is a veritable melting pot of differing races and cultures, but that doesn't mean they get along together.  Each race has it's own territory and is perfectly content to stay there, though some commerence between peoples does exist, it is best to not stay too long in an area where you are the minority.

    Choosing a race is the very first step into creating a character in Samurai Bushido Quest, choose wisely, you definetly don't want to end up playing something that doesn't suit you.  It's very trying for the GM when your character keeps dieing.
