Gigans
Gigans, once Humans, drastically
changed by biotechnology. A Gigan is a human who has been infected
with Terrestrial Energy Conversion Hormones, or the T.E.C.H. virus, manufactured
by Geno-Dyne Tech.
When a Human is subjected to the T.E.C.H. virus
his body begins a slow process of transmutation, when the virus reaches
full maturation (1 month) the Humans body becomes covered in barely noticeable
abrasions on the skin, they are a slightly darker color then the skin and
are extremely painful. If the Human learns to control the virus he
gains the ability to transform his body into an incredibly powerful creature,
with armored skin and biological weapons.
The T.E.C.H. virus was created
for biological warfare yes but the Gigans themselves were a mistake, most
of the original test subjects were destroyed on the lab grounds, but some
few escaped, and began spreading the virus. Though there are very
few they are powerful and dangerous.
They have no organization whatsoever and don't
even like each others company.
But being around each other is much more preferable
then the company of Kusans, the product of the successful experiment.
Gigans are constantly being hunted down by E.G.D.
Eradication of Genetic Deviants, a force composed of specialty cyborgs
and Kusans.
Nicknames: Bakemono (Monsters)
Character Creation: Gigans, hate their powers, they absolutely wish they could live normal lives, but other then that they soon realize they have no choice but to fight, or run. Most Gigans try to get passage to Sheran or Kuso. They all favor physical stats.
Appearance: They are so monstrous that
when in the transformed state any creature with a lower Sento-Ryoko then
them must roll Wits or be frozen in place for 1d10 amount of turns, the
victim of delirium may dodge and defend but not attack..
They reach a height of at least 8 feet or taller,
and are covered from head to toe in a strange bio-genic armor, that is
as hard as solid steel. They look slightely robotic due to a strange
affect of the T.E.C.H. virus.
Starting Stats: 2 in Willpower, No Ability and 5 in Anger Points, they also must start with a derangement. 15 frrebie points to spend. When Gigans transform they receive a +3 three in all physical traits.
Life Span: 50 years, After transformation. That is another one of the unpleasant things about being a Gigan, after the first transformation their life span is greatly shortened, because they are hyper metabolic, this also causes them to eat allot of food.
Weakness: After each transformation a Gigan must eat twice his weight in food or he will lose a one in each stat until he does so. Also if he transforms and has not eaten twice his weight in food then he must make a Berzerking roll Difficulty 8, if he fails then he will eat anything in sight, including other people.
