The dark opposites of the Dragons, those who sold their souls to Alanis for power, and to live a normal life.  No one knows when they first came about but the first sighting was long ago in the year 3422 A.S. (After Sundering.)  A Kageryu-Jin named Ceepher had encountered Ukyo on what is now known as Inferno road, a great battle ensued and both did not leave unscathed.

    Since then the Dark Dragons have made their presence known, but it is theorized that they have been abroad in the world much longer, but even the Ryu-Jin don't know.
Kageryu-Jin are just like Ryu-Jin, save that they do not suffer Alanis's curse, but it is rumored that they have been given dark powers and normal Ryu-Jin are easily overcome by them, even the Dragoons know not to cross swords with them.
Kageryu-Jin have no organization whatsoever, they go were they please and do as they see fit, whether it is for or against Alanis, though not cursed they make no vows but the vaguest ones to Alanis and her children, after all, she is banished from Realm, so why not sit back, relax, have a party.  And if some people get killed. . .so what!  Blame it on the Ryu-Jin!

    As you can see these wandering pranksters are what give Ryu-Jin their bad reputation, most peoples think that Realm would be a better place without them to muck everything up, but they are impossible to tell from normal humans until they reveal their powers.

    Openly the Kageryu-Jin worship Alanis, in truth they give their allegiance to no god and are very likely to help someone once and stab him in the back next.  They have no form of government and really don't like being around each other, they wander hither and thither going were they see fit.

Character Creation: Dark Dragons come from all walks of life, except those of the most mundane.
Kageryu-Jin often travel the lands searching for an escape from boredom.
They prefer mental and social stats.

Appearance: They tend to look like the most stunning specimens of the Human race when they maintain their untransformed state.  They resemble no type of Human ever seen before so be creative when you make one.

Starting Stats: A 5 in Willpower, 6 in Ability Points and 4 in Anger points.  Take one derangement.

Life Span: 2,000 years.

Weakness: Kageryu-Jin are often vain and haughty, they have an unbearable superior attitude all the time.  They are also slightly deranged from they're closeness to Alanis but they refuse to admit it.
