Triclops

The monks of the Phoenix clan, holy warriors and priests the Triclops are a race almost as old as the Ryu-Jin, some say they are Humans who have evolved a third eye and found inner peace, others theorize that they fell from the red moon, whatever their origins one thing is for certain about the Triclops, they're here to stay.
It is said that long ago all Triclops could call upon the powers of the Phoenix but now times are different, breeding with other races has weakened the blood of the Phoenix Clan and now only the Priests of the flaming bird may invoke that great power.
The Triclops, though reputed for their strong fighters and monks, are an agricultural race, they till the lands at the base of the icy mountains of Khalkista on the edge of Sheran Minor.
Triclops are an extraordinary race, their bodies are super adaptable and can withstand temperatures of hot and cold 200 times their Sento-Ryoko.
Example:  Dorai is a young Triclops with a Sento-Ryoko of 3, he and some companions of various other races are traveling through the Badlands near Alania which is an icy tundra compared to the badlands near Kikai which are a huge desert.  His friends are forced to don thick cloaks because of the freezing temperature, and still they shiver, but Dorai can stroll about naked to the waist without any discomfort because his body can take up to 600 below or above zero.
Triclops all have a third eye which increases their psychic powers and gives them the ability to learn skills faster, and increases their depth perception, all projectile attacks made by a Triclops are one less difficulty.

Triclops society is bound by a strict caste system, each Triclops has his place and may not move up in rank outside of they're particular caste type.  The three different castes are:

Farmer:  The lowest caste, though given due respect (they do make your  food after all)  that is infact all they do, they are limited to tilling the soil and tending the crops which feed the Triclops nation and may never leave the plains of Khalkista, though some are cast out for rebellious reasons.
The low caste Triclops have their own government representative, given the illustrious title of 'Master Farmer', this man is chosen to represent the needs and rights of his people.
Currently a woman by the name of Tia Tillerson is the Master Farmer, she has fought long and hard for her fellow farmers rights.

Townsmen:  All cultures thrive on trade, the Townsmen are the merchants and peddlers of the Triclops.  Some stay within the villages and peddle their wares to travelers who visit the lands of the Phoenix Clan.  Others travel the world trading their goods for exotic spices and precious trinkets which they bring back to their country.  They all have a charming urbane manner and extensive vocabularies that set peoples teeth on edge.
The current Master Merchant is a man called Valant Sellers.  He's an overbearing, overdressed and over perfumed fop who likes to swagger around in a high plumed hat and sparkling pink hose, pointy shoes with bells on the tips and a satin doublet of varying colors with puffy sleeves.  He sports a welled trimmed mustache and goatee and has long, curly butter colored hair.  He's a terrible merchant and a worse leader, people are beginning to wonder about the legitimacy of the his election.
The only people who like him are the band of sycophants that follow him about like a pack of neutered dogs.

Monk:  Fighters and Priests, the most revered and respected of the Triclops.
They, and they only, have the power of the  legendary Phoenix.  Each monk of the Phoenix is chosen at birth from a low caste Triclops family and put through intensive training, conquering all anger and fear, at puberty they are subjected to a trial of strength and will, if they succeed then they are blessed by the Phoenix and bear a Phoenix shaped burn mark on their arm.
The most famous Triclops in history was a renegade monk named Draco, he was born with the blessing of the Phoenix and didn't have to earn it like his brethren.  Believing himself above other people of his kind he left to train alone in the world.  Ironically he became the strongest Triclops to date and gained true mastery over the phoenix, it is said he was a  good friend (though sometimes rival) to Ukyo, together they learned much from each other, Ukyo learned how to control his anger through meditation and Draco learned humility (By having his butt handed to him on several occasions, though not to say he didn't give Ukyo a good go or two.)
The current Dorak (Highest attainable rank for a Phoenix Monk.) is a man named Dinaku, he is very strict in his beliefs and is never disturbed during his prayers, though he has little mastery over the Phoenix itself he is a good leader and has Kept the Triclops out of war for the past 400 years, he is very old but don't mistake his age for frailty, he has a very strong will.

black dragons

The Triclops's most darkest secret, some are so embarrassed to be related to them that they vehemently deny their existence.  The Black Dragons are the youngest, and meanest, Triclops around, it is said that a tryst between a KageRyu-Jin and a low caste Triclops was their origin, the child gaining powers similar to that of the Phoenix monks, but much darker.
Born with their powers instead of having to earn them they have no sense of humility and scoff at the ancient ways of the Triclops, power is all they worship.  They hate their cousins so much that they have broken off all contact with them and live in the badlands of Kikai.
Though they may not sound nice they aren't necessarily bad, they just can't stand their cousins "Holier then thou" attitude.  Each Black Dragon bears a snake like Dragon Birth Mark that entwines about their right arms, the Black Dragons inherited power nullifies the powers of the third eye other then greater depth perception.  They are a quiet and stoic people who spends most of their time training. . .well most of them.  A lot of them are just a bunch of bear soaked bikers who have nothing better to do then terrorize Kikai and ride around the desert showing off.
The Black Dragons have a leader as well, he doesn't have any special title nor does he want one.
He is often found at the constant parties he throws in his honor, usually none too sober.
His name is Kairahn and he loves to party, all day, all night, he also loves to fight and is as quick to anger as he is to drink, nonetheless he is a good leader and a strong willed person and has gained the mutual respect of all the Black Dragons, something almost impossible to do.

Nickname: Farmers, Freaks, Devil Spawn.

Character Creation: Depending on what sect you choose to be from your character could have a world of reasons for being what he/she is.  Farmers prefer Social attributes, while Monks concentrate on Mental stats.  Townsmen cant live without good social stats.  The Black Dragons all agree that lots of points in the Physical Area are all the rage.

Appearance: Aside from a few subtle difference all Triclops have the same basic features, all of them are extremely resistant to the elements and sport a third eye.  Low Caste Triclops display large muscle structure (From working in the fields all day) and the majority have mud brown hair and eyes.
Townsmen are much thinner and dress in whatever they choose, usually the more successful the Townsman the more opulent the clothing.
Monks are less physically built but their minds make up for it, they usually have light brown to blond hair and blue or green eyes.
Black Dragons have pale skin with flat black hair and eyes, they are tall and skinny and some of the pure bloods have extremely hard, almost scale like, skin.  Roll 1d10 if you decide to play a Black Dragon, 1-5 your not a pure blood, 6-10 you are, the tougher skin gives them one Die to soak aggravated damage.

Starting Stats: Each are different.
Low Caste: 3 in Willpower, 5 in Anger and 3 Ability Points.
Mid Caste (Townsmen): 5 in Willpower, 1 anger and 2 ability points.
High Caste (Monks): 6 in Willpower, 2 in Anger and 6 Ability Points.
Black Dragons: 5 in Willpower, 6 in Anger and 5 Ability Points.

Life Span: Each is different, Farmers and Townsmen have a decent life expectancy but Monks more so because they serve the Phoenix, Black Dragons Live a little shorter then the monks do but longer then farmers because of their Dragon like longevity.
Low/Mid Caste: about 700 years or so.
Monk: 1,500 more or less.
Black Dragons: about 1,000-1,200 at most.

Weakness: See below.
Low Caste: They don't have access to their races true power so they aren't as strong as a Monk could be, plus it is hard for them to leave the Khalkista mountain range.
Townsmen: Their self important attitude more or less is a constant source of trouble for them.  Roll Willpower difficulty 8 to quell the urge to show off your supposed superiority.
Monks: The powers of the Phoenix helps them attain great power and inner peace, but they don't anger near as quick as their cousins among the Low Caste and Black Dragons do, this makes it hard for them to gain Anger points and learn Ki techniques, that is why most Monks resort to using Psi techniques with their incredible mind powers.  Minus 2 on all attempts to learn a Ki skill, even with the third eye.  Raising permanent Anger costs two experience points more.
Black Dragons: A Black Dragons weakness is his anger, +2 on all chances to Berzerk.
He also can't learn Psi Techniques or how to use Magick since he doesn't have the patience and can't use the third eyes special abilities.
