The ancient Dragons of Realm lore, did this omnipotent race truly exist?
Or are they just tales spun by bards for the sake of a good story.  Some evidence does point to the fact that they must have existed at least once on Realm, much of them is written in history, and where would the Kageryu-Jin come from?  Why the purpose of the Dragoons was to destroy all the Ryu-Jin.
And if all the good Dragons are extinct, then why do the Dragoons still exist?

    Yes the Ryu-Jin do still exist!  But they have been driven into hiding, they have very few allies, among them the Sherani, the Skie-Jin, and the Triclops, they are constantly hunted down by their dark cousins the Kageryu-Jin, Dragons that have given themselves over to Alanis in order to survive and grow in power, and by the Dragoons, a special race of Magickally enhanced Humans who's powers counteract those of the Ryu-Jin.  The Ryu-Jin were once a proud and noble race, loved by many for the unification of the world long ago.  But that's is not the case today, many people have forgotten the existence of the Ryu-Jin, others believe them to be a myth conjured up to give children hope that someone will protect them from the evil Kageryu-Jin, who ravage the land with no one to stand in their path.
The current Ryu-Jin are all subject to the curse of Alanis which makes their race painfully obvious.
There are two Dragon cities left in the world, Dragonai and Dologanai, these are two secret cities protected by the fiercest warriors of the Ryu-Jin and those few peoples still allied with them, the Ryu-Jin have many valuable allies amongst the varying peoples of Realm, each person that is an ally of the Ryu-Jin is given a tattoo of a Dragon rampant over his heart to signify his allegiance.
The Dragons do they're best to keep out of public site since they are easily identified by Alanis's servants, and the tales of old describe them accurately enough that an overly curious child could blow an inconspicuous Ryu-Jin's cover.  They do travel the world trying to redeem themselves in the eyes of those who distrust them ,some are bold enough to not deny their heritage, others swath their bodies in heavy identity concealing cloaks or use magick to hide their true selves.
The current Kaiser (Last rank among the priesthood of Drakkunn the Dragon god of good.), is an Elf named Aniki (Meaning brother in an old Human Dialect.) who is currently the closest adviser to Emperor Key'Ann of the Elves, it is he who has safely steered away Key'Ann from several assassination attempts by Kira'Na the priestess of Peyitin.
He is desperately trying to get Key'Ann to send a peace treaty to the king of the Human kingdoms.
His two assistants Denreku and Kira'lin (Both Warrior Rank in the brotherhood of Drakkunn, it is one level below Aniki's.) keep the fort down while he's gone, Denreku leads Dragonai and Kira'Lin watches over Dologonai.
Dragonai is located beyond the fortress Draxxan in Sorinthern Kuso and Dologanai is a tower city somewhere under the Badlands.  The two greatest heroes in Ryu-Jin history are Ukyo Tashimoto and Ryu Tashimoto, Ryu was the prince of the Dragons in the years before the sundering, he fell in love with a Mana-Jin girl named Mana, she gave birth to many children, among them a child named Ukyo, who was the only one among them to inherit the powers of the dragon.
Millennia later it was Ukyo who sealed Alanis in the void forever barring her entry to this world, but he did so at the cost of his life.

Nickname: Wyrms

Character creation: All Ryu-Jin have great power, matched by great anger, they despise Alanis and all those who serve her, and to a lesser extent Yaksha and his Dark Elves.  They hide within there cities waiting for the day when they can take their birth right back from Alanis and regain their honor.  Ryu-Jin prefer and equal amount of points spent in each trait and some extra in the skills street wise and survival, most use mind Magick or elemental magick, mind magick to use illusions to hide their true forms and elemental to increase their own elemental dragon attacks.

Appearance: Sadly, due to Alanis's curse the Ryu-Jin are easily distinguishable.  All male Ryu-Jin sport blue or silver colored hair, and prefer to wear it long, their canines are extra sharp and they have a birthmark of a dragon rampant on their foreheads, blue eyes are common.
Female Ryu-jin have it worse, besides the pink and green hair colors common to their kind they also are forced to wear their bat like dragon wings even in their untransformed state, they have pointed ears as well, but they are of normal size and stand up not out like an Elves.

Starting Stats: Ryu-Jin begin with a 5 in Willpower, 5 in Ability Points and a 5 in Anger Points.
They get 15 freebie points to spend.

Life span: 2,500-3,000.

Weakness: Besides their appearance Ryu-Jin are also cursed with the frenzy.
Ryu-Jin are the only race capable of storing up more Anger then their permanent rating, but every time they do they must make a Willpower Roll against Berzerking, this roll is at a +2 difficulty.
