If you've ever been to any fiction archive on the Internet, you know there's thousands upon thousands of original (and not-so-original) stories out there. Everything from Teletubbies to XXX (and occasionally both ... O_o) can be found on this, the very paragon of free speech, the Internet. And, while there are many wonderful pieces of fiction, there's also that portion which has a certain ... feel to it. Maybe it's just rife with grammatical errors, or perhaps it's a goofy plot twist, or it could be one of those stories which you just have to look at and say, "Damn ... that is SICK."
Which is where MSTings come in.
In a MSTing, an author takes a pre-written story, usually by another author, and adds "riffs", little smart-ass comments that poke gentle (and sometimes not-so-gentle) fun at said article. The author does this through a group of riffers, usually taken from the show which this art form is based upon, Mystery Science Theater 3000, though many MSTiers use their own casts, customized to their own specific personalities (one of my more (in)famous collegues, Alicia Ashby, uses pro wrestlers to riff her fics). If it's done right, hillarity ensues. If not ...
What you'll find below are my "serious" MSTings, all of which deal exclusively with "standard-cast" MSTings. My earlier attempts are located on my old AOL homepage, which can be found HERE.
Pfil, the lovely heroine from the infamous Bondage Fairies series, encounters a number of rather ... hungry spiders. Only moderately less painful than "Artemis' Lover".
In the first non-lemon of Mystery Science Anarchy, Mike and the Bots tackle the first Matrix fanfic, which also happens to be an Oscar anti-fic. God help us all ...
In yet another lemony adventure from the one and only PJ, the Final Fantasy 7 characters have lots and lots of OOC sex with one another and look for Aeris, hence the name. Though the only searching that's done seems to be of Tifa's naughty bits, and I'm pretty sure she isn't there ...
PJ again. This time, the Ultimate Being returns from the dead, and Aya Brea must track him down and masturbate in the shower. I won't spoil how she kills the Ultimate Being, you have to read it for yourself ...
A Sailor Moon lemon--by now, almost a redundant statement--in which Minako enslaves the rest of the Sailor Scouts and forces them to do naughty things to her. Fun.
Written by the one and only Stephen Ratliff, this extremely disturbing lemon pairs a 13-year-old Marrissa Picard with her stepbrother, Wesley Crusher ... hijinks and extreme vomiting ensues. Co-MSTed with Jamie Jeans and John "Crowbar" Hurst!
With Akodo X. Meaningless (and incomprehensible) violence abounds, as the Fist of the North Star destroys just about every anime series on the planet. Oh, and there's some self-insertion, too.
