GUN CONTROL:
Liberal Thinking: Death or injury to those who can't use martial arts or other non-lethal means
of self-defense-- The young, the old, the infirm, the disabled, the weak,
the small, and the pregnant--are simply the necessary sacrifice we must
make to criminals, to avoid the risks of letting honest, law abiding people be armed.

GARRY'S PROMISE
"Our firearms policy will effectively return our gun laws to the way they
were before 1995 – except for the mandatory minimum sentences that we
propose to increase. Then I personally promise that I will start the
task of fixing all the flaws in federal firearm laws by requiring that
they be subjected to a public safety test administered by the Auditor
General of Canada. My proposal includes a sunset clause on all gun
control laws that have been proven by the Auditor General not to be cost
effective at reducing the criminal use of firearms and improving public
safety."
Yours sincerely,

Going...May
Gone?
A one-year amnesty will be introduced to protect previously-licensed
owners of non-restricted firearms from prosecution and to encourage
them to comply with the law as it currently stands????

Time to kill off the gun registry
In a May 31 meeting of the Standing Committee on Public
Safety and National Security, some alarming facts were revealed. Using
import-export numbers it was established that there are between 16.5
million and 20 million firearms in Canada, only seven million of which
have been registered. Even more vexing is that of 1.2 million handguns
registered under the old system which began in 1934, transition to the
new system lost the records of 600,000 of them! This is the $1-billion
money pit the Liberals saddled us with? Scrap it fast.(THIS
IS HARDLY A NEW REVELATION!!! Law abiding gun owners have been pointing
this 'fact' out to the liberals for more than ten years. Did they
listen? No, because if they had it would have proven that their gun
control farce, and all the numbers they were throwing around, were
bogus. Even Wayne Easter finally had to admit
the figures were off by at least 10 million guns.. The 7 million guns
in Canada figure was only put forward because they 'had' to make it
look the the registry was useful, and has 90% of the gun in Canada in
it.. What a laugh... So now, when you hear Wendy's weirdo's tell the
press that the registry is working well, and 90% of all the guns are
registered, be sure to point out the lie.. Because, along with the
infamous, thoroughly debunked Kellerman study, this is one of
their favourite lies to the uninformed public, and gullible media )
