"THE RULES OF LAND HO!"

While Captain Corsair and Lady TERA want your visit to Land Ho and the LightHouse to be a pleasurable one, the Captain has also established a set of rules, to allow everyone to do just that. There is  information here for visiting kajirii, describing the galley, so they can better serve!  Enjoy and Have Fun!!

Common sense and common courtesy is something the Captain and His Lady insist on. If you are not Gorean, the Captain will usually tolerate your visit, if you are willing to learn and do not interfere with the general rules and etiquette of His Home.

  • All Free People will Capitalize their names while slaves will use small case letters to , denote their status.
  • Free Gorean Men are to be addressed as Master.  The Captain Corsair prefers to be addressed as Captain or Captain Corsair.
  • Free Gorean Women are to be addressed as Mistress or Lady.
  • NO private messaging is to occur UNLESS you ask permission to do so in channel, first.
  • Slaves must beg permission to enter or leave the LightHouse.
  • White silk kajirae are not to lap. Collared red silk kajirii are not to be taken to the alcove, without first receiving the permission of Captain Corsair or, in the event He is not there, Lady TERA may choose to be of assistance.
  • The LightHouse is also a kill zone, so not heeding the Captain's rules could, more than likely, cost you your life!

In order for visiting kajirii to better serve in The Land, a brief description of the LightHouse follows:

The galley is a spacious area provided for the kajirii to work and prepare the foods and drinks that they will be serving. There is ample counter space directly under all the cupboards that line the far walls of the galley. In the cupboards, everything a kajira will need to serve well can be found. There are vessels of cups, goblets and bowls, serving platters and tea pots, spices of all kinds, as well as sweeteners and powdered bosk cream. Along the east wall are the galley fires, equipped with all the necessary kettles and skillets, ladles and utensils. There are verr-skin botas of paga along the wall next to the fires. On the west wall is the door that leads to the coolroom, where you will find an ice-bin, stocked with shards of ice. Ice is a luxury on Gor. It is cut from the frozen ice in the mountains and brought down, usually stored and covered under sawdust. The Captain keeps the bins full at all times for the pleasure of His guests. You will find chilled beverages, such as ale, kalana, and the juices from the fruit of The Land's Orchards and fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, vegetables and anything else kajirii might need in order to fulfill the wishes of the One they are serving. Crates of the Captain's Coke are stacked neatly to the side of the coolroom housing the tinted green bottles of His favorite Urthen beverage. In the southwest corner of the galley is a huge keg of the Captain's special whiskey!  Next to the keg is a door that leads out back to the Spring that runs through the grounds of the LightHouse. You will notice the ladle attached to a post right by the water. This is where the crisp, fresh Spring water is retrieved.

The Captain insists on His guests having the best of everything while visiting and has made sure that everything needed to provide good service is available to the kajirii.
