In these Orchards you will find the most carefully tended to fruits...all overseen personally by Lady TERA, Herself! These wonderful fruits are harvested, only when they are at their ripest and most delectable stage. They are served with great Pride at the Home of the Captain and Lady TERA.
As you enter, the very first thing your eyes will behold are the Beautiful Kalana trees standing elegantly with their golden yellow foliage draping them and the sweet, juicy Kalana fruit abundantly adorning them. Then, as you move to your right, you will see the lovely Larma trees, tempting your eyes and making your mouth water, as you notice all the succulent, delicious Larma dappling each tree generously.
If you chose to take your left, instead of your right, you then would have feast your eyes on the section of the Orchards thriving with the rinded fruit Kort, and two varieties of Tospit! You'll see the long stemmed Tospit, clustered in the center, and the common Tospit, surrounding them. It's been said, that the long stemmed Tospit carry an even number of seeds inside them, while the common Tospit carry an odd number. Either way though, we find the fruity bitterness of this marvelous citrus type fruit adds just the right zest to a hot mug of Kal-da!
Walking along the walls of the Orchards, you will see the magnificent trellis' of Ta-grapes. They cast the coolest shade and bear the most tantalizing Ta-grapes ever known to Gor! They're huge in size...often slightly larger than the size of the Urthen Plum, but sweeter and juicier than any grape Urthen soil could ever grow. Thus making the sweetest wines One could ever wish to taste! As you wander towards the back of the Orchards, you will soon notice the thickest, most fruitful Ramberry bushes one has ever cast their eyes on! The juicy, sweet ramberries are speckled thruout each bush in great number. And as you look closer, you will notice the slight differences of some of the ramberries, but, what you are looking at is the Captain's Creation! The Capt, thru much trial and tribulation, developed a variation of the Ramberry only known on the soil of Land Ho! It produces the biggest, most juiciest and sweetest berries ever tasted! In Honor of all His hard work and cultivation...these wonderfully delicious berries are called REDDberries!!
