These are the Magnificent Cliffs of Land Ho! As You stand at the rocky peaks of the cliffs, You can see the fury of Thassa crashing against them, the beautiful Mountain Range on the other side...and the Plains of Tuchuk below. You will also be able to see all the other places of Land Ho, from this point, as well.
As you make your way to one of the highest peaks, you will soon see the remains of what used to be a castle. Sitting on the top of the cliff, its Omninous Beauty gives way to ones imagination...giving you the image of a day long ago, and a castle with its Master and all His Scribes and slaves and riches surrounding him. The Castle...in a day of all its glory, being pelted by the rage of Thassa...standing strong and steadfast against the fury of the sea...and remaining there to this very day...keeping the memory and the souls of ancient history nestled in its walls forever!
As you climb the peaks and make your way, you'll be rewarded with the many beautiful wonders of the cliffs. You will see cascades of the crisp, revitalizing water, draping the rocky terrain...water that washes over the mineral enriched rock and soil and down into our Gardens and Orchards...being largely responsible for the thriving success of all that lives and grows here at Land Ho! The water is also known as the Glacial Milk of the Cliffs of Land Ho, because drinking of this enriched water will keep a mind sharp, a body healthy, and a life long and prosperous with quality. The cool shaded wall of rock at the bottom of the cliffs is where you will find the shed...built of the thickest logs. This is the shed that the ice the Captain brings down from the mountains is stored. Here, after being brought down on sledges, Captain Corsair will cover the ice with wooden chips and saw dust to keep it preserved, going to great length to afford this luxury to his family and guests.
These cliffs are very special to us. Not only do we benefit from the riches it gives us, and the history it holds and shares with us...but we are also very proud and feel very privileged to have them in such close proximity to our Home, the Lighthouse. We hope you will find them as enlightening as we do and we invite you to explore them and reap the rewards along with us, as guests of Captain Corsair and Lady TERA!
