[+] hokuto sumeragi [+]

hokuto, sister of subaru and kakyou's love, she died before the story of x actually
begins. the only reason why i have also placed her on this site because of her
importance with both her brother and lover.

her debut was in tokyo babylon, and being subaru's twin sister, she also had some
powers, yet nothing compared to her companions. she played the role of trying to set
her brother and seishirou up, but also at the same time hit onto seishirou as well. always
genki and fun loving, hokuto had some strange fetishes, like her bizarre clothing (in
tokyo babylon that is) and also forcing her brother to wear the clothes she picked out
(which were just as strange).

yet she did not actually die in the series of tokyo babylon, it was only when subaru
mentioned it in x is when we find that out. he, who was hunting the sakura assassin
down, thought that he wanted vengeance for killing his dear sister (but now we know
better).

when subaru was lost in his mind after seishirou attempted to kill him, it was then when
hokuto confronted the dark assassin.

hokuto: you broke your promise.
seishirou: which promise would that be?
hokuto: didn't i tell you? "don't take subaru any where far away from me."
seishirou: subaru-kun is in his own room right now.
hokuto: but you've taken away his heart, and it may never be able to return. so i'm
going to cast a spell on you. you're one of the sakurazukamori. you always kill your
prey. but... i will not... let you...kill subaru. i swear i will not let you kill him.
seishirou: you can not destroy me with your power.
hokuto: i know that. still, there's a spell that only i can cast. i've seen the try figure of the
sakurazukamori now...so...kill me.
seishirou: if you die, i think subaru-kun will suffer.
hokuto: yes...but, i want subaru to live. i know it's selfish. to tell someone to live when
they're in such pain that they want to die. it's arrogant. but still...still... i want you and
subaru to live.
seishirou: why me as well? i've hurt subaru-kun...and i'm killing you.
hokuto: yes...that's tru...but...i don't want you to die either. no matter how mych of a
terrible person and a murderer you are...i guess i still like you... the only one who can
kill you is subaru. and the only one who can kill subaru us you. so i'm casting this spell
with the last of my power. if you try... to kill subaru the same way...you killed me...the
act will rebound upon you...
seishirou: why are you telling me the content of the final spell you're spending your
life to cast?
hokuto: if i don't tell you...there's no point in it. in the end...let me believe in you...and
that this spell will never come into play.
seishirou: i'm not the kind of man you should put your trust in.
hokuto: ...i know. but subaru...thinks you're special. so i want to believe in you...
...remember this. it's true that you're guilty of sins that you can never atone for...but
there's no such thing as a person who shouldn't love anybody, sei-chan... su...ba...ru...

after this, since it is a dream that kakyou is having, she falls and her body scatters into
sakura petals. kakyou, with teary eyes, cannot stand having hokuto dead, and so, his
wish is to die, and perhaps be with his loved one in death. nevertheless, this wish is
one that fuuma is not yet willing to grant, but he promises to do so at a later date. and so
kakyou the dream seer, still sees her in his dreams, and is always heartbroken.

hokuto died for the sake of her brother and seishirou. but, her death was in a way
wasted, for seishirou did in fact try to kill subaru in the same manner he killed hokuto.
the attack rebounded, and it was seishirou who died. but this is what he wanted, to be
killed by the prey he could not catch. and now subaru is all alone, with no one he wants
to protect. hokuto's last wish was never granted.

her relationship with kakyou is a sad and compassionate one. they met through their
dreams, with kakyou calling the genki hokuto into it, for he just wanted a companion in
his world of dreams. and, perhaps because of his heart wrenching loneliness, hokuto 
was drawn to him, and showed him the beauty of life, and gave him love and hope. 
their first 'date' was at the beach, a place where hokuto introduced kakyou to, and 
where he is to always cherish. however, even though they met through their dreams, 
they could, and will never meet in reality, for the tragedy occurred. and we see this in 
kakyou's own side story. at the same time as hokuto is killed by seishirou's hand 
through her heart, kakyou, who can see this, runs outside his temple (?), and is shot for 
his effort. he now lays in a coma, most likely never to wake up, and always dreaming of 
hokuto.
