First » open the picture that you want to add this effect to.
Second » go to File and choose New. For the Image
Size put 1 as the Width and 2 as the Height. Make sure that they are in pixels
and not inches or etc. The background must be Transparent.
Third » use the Zoom Tool to zoom in until 100%.
Just keep on clicking the left-click button until you cannot zoom in anymore.
Fourth » use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to
select an area.
Fifth » select the area, size 1 pixel by 1 pixel.
Sixth » have you determine what colour you want your
tvlines to be? If you haven't, go to the Color Picker,
the two coloured boxes, which is usually on your left. Then choose the colour you want. After that, fill the selected
area with that colour.
Seventh » select the whole document by pressing
Ctrl and A and then go to Edit > Define Pattern.
Just open up the picture that you want and then Right-Click on
it and choose Select All. Then Right-Click again and choose Fill.
Eightth » in the Contents, choose Pattern, and in
the Custom Pattern change the pattern to the one that you have created.
You can determine whether to have the opacity 100% or less. |
