Site » About This Site
Umm where to start? Well we’ll start with this site’s
name. Mizu means ‘water’ and Awa means ‘bubble’
or ‘foam’ and thus combining both of them you have Water
Bubble or Water Foam, but then since I do not take Japanese
language class the combination of both words may have an
entirely different meaning, who knows. Since Ami is my
favourite character in SailorMoon and her element is water, so
I chose water as the main name of my site and since one
of her attacks involves foam or bubbles (can’t really remember
which one) thus I decided to attach the word bubble to
water. Thus you have Water Bubble and the word
Blues was added for no apparent reason… Well I think it
was added because I wanted the site’s name to have a nicer
flow it.
This site was officially opened on Friday, 19th July 2002
and it is dedicated to SailorMercury. Ami’s strong and
intellectual character draws me to her and since I see there
are few good SailorMercury’s sites out on there not to mention
most of them have similar contents, I decided to take
it upon myself to create a SailorMercury site with some real
contents in it.
If I get bored of SailorMoon and this site one day, I think
I’ll change this site to a free graphics site, but I will
reserve a small corner for my all time favourite Senshi. What
else? Well after 2003 I think you will see less updates as in
the year 2004 I will start my first year in college. Meaning I
will have less time to update my site especially the layout
since I will be busy. If I am coming back home for my semester
holidays, I will for sure change the layout and update as much
as I could, though I doubt I will update the contents as I
really can’t think of anything else to add to this site.
SailorMoon is fading fast for me, I still love the series
and forever will, but I do not think the new people, as I
called them, know nor love SailorMoon. New anime are
multiplying fast like viruses, and SailorMoon is being
trampled by them and will remain in the darkening silence and
be forgotten and waned as seasons passed. When that time comes
and no one is going to visit any SailorMoon’s site, I will
bring this site down and change it to a free graphics site (as
mentioned in paragraph two), but like I said, I will have a
small corner with beautiful layouts for my favourite Senshi,
SailorMercury. Maybe another small corner for the great
SailorMoon series… or maybe I would own a domain someday and
have a small section for all of my all time favourite anime
that has faded.
Well I guess that is all that I have to say about this site
and my future plans for it. But as long as geocities does not
terminate its free webspace (with annoying ads) thing, I will
still be here, except if I own a domain of course. |
