Our police officers have been losing the fight against violent crime for the last 43 years. It comes as no surprise to anyone that the Liberals have been in power for all but nine of those years. The number of Criminal Code incidents per police officer has more than doubled since 1962. Canada’s violent crime rate has more than quadrupled over the same period. Now, violent crime is higher in Canada than in the United States, but somehow that fact escapes the Liberals’ election ads. Canadians were four times safer when John Diefenbaker was in power than we are now. As a society, we shouldn’t have to accept living in fear of being victimized. We just have to elect a government that puts public safety priorities ahead of political priorities,” There were 622 murder victims in 2004. Seventy-two percent of these murderers used something other than a firearm. Statistics Canada also reported an increase in almost all categories of family homicides. Seventy percent of the accused murderers had a prior conviction for a violent offence: 8 for homicide,” exclaimed Breitkreuz. “Canadians should be asking the Liberals: Why are convicted murderers being let out on our streets to kill again instead of in prison where they belong?” “One of my constituents put it better than I ever could: This announcement is an insult to the families of those taken from them by violence. This ban would have done nothing to save them from their loss, and yet it's being sold to them as a legitimate response to their grief. How utterly opportunistic. How unspeakably shameful.”(It would seem that if you support, and vote for the Liberals, you are supporting and agreeing to :
*Entirely bypassing parliament to fund the billion dollar boondoggle, generally known as the now widely
   acknowledged useless gun registry.
*Continued over taxation to the tune of BILLIONS in surplus.
*The continued liberal culture of entitlement.
*Ignoring where 40 million dollars of adscam money actually went.
*The 'catch and release revolving door justice system.
*The vast majority of all previous liberal 'red book' promises ignored.
*The continued degradation of our military.
*Continued ignoring of the the plight of Native Canadians.
*That GUNS cause crime, not criminals.
*Totally against mandatory sentencing unless it can get you votes.
*Hunter, Fisherman, Sports Shooter is now the new 'N' word in Canada.
*Our first line of defence border guards should remain armed with only flashlights, and batons even though they
  have been issued with 'bullet resistant vests'.
*Our largest trading partner should be publicly ridiculed at every opportunity.
*The Canadian Coast Guard should REMAIN unarmed.
*A day-care bureaucracy can raise your children far better than you.
*If given $1200.00 a year, the average parent would spend it on "beer and popcorn".
*The un-realistic confiscation of legally owned and obtained property even if will make no difference what-so-ever.
*Liberals have shown good judgement in what they spend your tax dollars on.
*You are now getting faster and more efficient health care in the 12 years since the liberals came to power.
*You feel safer walking the streets at night.
*If you vote in a member of parliament, they can change sides at a whim and without consulting their constituents.
*They are entitled to their self proclaimed entitlements.
*Swindling disabled veterans out of their pension funds by passing a law that says they can do just that.
*The "why did you come to me for help, when you didn't vote for me?" attitude.
*Election gag laws to prevent some points from being heard.
*Paul Martin wrapping himself in the Canadian flag, but refusing to fly that same flag from his own ships.
*Untold billions stashed in "private" government foundations - hidden from public scrutiny and beyond the reach
  of the Auditor General and Privacy Commissioner.
*Continued appointments of  'ethics commissioners' that report ONLY to the prime minister.
*Questionable Insider Trust fund leaks, allowing 'some' to make a lot of money very quickly.
*Seeing that the last liberal 'hidden agenda' has mostly come to pass, LAST but certainly not 'THE' last, should
  be full support of the current, yet unknown, NEW Liberal 'Hidden' Agenda..

Paul Martin's election vow to ban handguns was aimed at urban voters yesterday, but rural Liberals worry it could be shot down by small-town Canadians still seething over the hated federal gun registry. But a stray bullet from Martin's promise could hit Liberals in the rural ridings that dot the Southwestern Ontario battleground, where any suggestion of curtailing gun ownership reminds voters of the much-maligned National Firearms Registry. "It plays well in the Jane-Finch area of Toronto," Sarnia-Lambton Liberal Roger Gallaway said, referring to the site of Martin's promise. "For the legitimate gun owner . . . it just creates anxiety. The perception is that it affects a bunch of people that aren't the problem and never will be." Some experts say Martin's focus on banning handguns may, in fact, be pointless. Canada's more than 500,000 registered handguns are mainly confined to police, security guards, licensed target shooters and collectors. Sales to the public have been tightly controlled for 60 years. Slapping even more restrictions in place isn't likely to stop criminals, said a University of Toronto criminologist. "We've got lots of laws (already)," Anthony Doob said. "We've got laws about carrying. We've got laws about ownership. We've got laws about transfers of ownership." London police Chief Murray Faulkner, whose officers have handled 18 shootings this year -- up sharply from three last year and seven the year before that -- echoed that reaction. "We've got laws now. Unfortunately, the people that have handguns don't care about our laws," he said. In nearby Chatham-Kent-Essex, a former Liberal MP was already hearing from angry residents yesterday. "It won't go over well," said Rex Crawford, who now campaigns for the Conservatives. "I've had calls about it. They're just screaming. They're very upset." In a statement yesterday, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters criticized the Liberals for trying "once again to stop crime on the backs of legal, law-abiding firearms owners." Martin, however, was certain his anti-crime plan will make a positive difference. "This strategy will get handguns off our streets, will toughen penalties for those who are convicted of gun crimes, and will choke off the supply of illegal weapons," Martin said.
Martin does not have a clue! He is simply another vote pandering, lying, liberal politician. According to Martin. it's GUNS not 'criminals' that are the problem in Toronto.. He has been recorded as saying "Guns threaten people" "Guns kill people". This country has moved so far to the left, OBJECTS are now being blamed for crime. It's GUNS that are the problem, not the voting criminal, not the voting jail or prison inmate. Why?  Because the liberals have already given convicted criminals serving time in jails and penitentiaries the right to vote, and there are far more voting criminals, than voting handgun owners. It's all about the numbers. Besides many liberals may find themselves in prison after ALL the shit hits the fan, and they want to retain as many rights as they can!

      THE LIBERALS 'DO' HAVE A SECRET AGENDA!
Martin has already let the cat out of the bag when he said he would base this handgun ban on the Australian model. We all know, the Australian model does NOT stop at handguns. It bans many, many, types of firearms. Some .22 calibre rifles, many popular duck hunting, trap and skeet shotguns, semi automatic pistols regardless of calibre, and all pistols over a certain calibre. But it won't stop there. The camels nose is already IN the tent! Martin liberals are also planning to ban lead fishing tackle because autopsies have shown as many as FOUR loons across this country have died from the ingestion of small lead sinkers. So, the liberals have started the ball rolling to ban ALL fishing tackle that contains lead, even 5 pound down rigger weights. God forbid we loose another loon when it eats a five pound ball of lead! Brass spinners, and lures contain lead..Bannned..Lead cored fishing line...Banned...The keel on your Sailboat? ...Banned... Remember, if it only saves one loon..

        Under the Liberals, 'personal responsibility' is no longer even considered a factor. Right across this entire continent, hundreds of young children die every year from falling into privately owned backyard swimming pools. Using the obvious Martin logic, there are public, well supervised pools, so there is absolutely no need to own one, or have one of these dangerous, child killing objects on your property. Unless of course you are in favour of killing children! Your not in favour of killing children are you? You had better fill that pool with dirt, or be fined or imprisoned. Using more 'proven' liberal logic, and because they have already tried banning alcohol, and it didn't work. will they NOW be blaming Impaired driving on cars. Liberals WILL in all probability, severely limit the private use of cars. Perhaps, even if you have never had a drink of alcohol in your entire life, forcing everyone to have a very expensive, 'annually taxed and licensed' of course, breath monitor installed to stamp out the scourge of drunk driving, . What's  the problem? People in Toronto don't need cars anyway.

       What's next? Many 'fringe' animal rights groups are known to be in bed with the liberals. The animal protection bill (that thankfully has again probably died on the order table) will allow more 'loons' the two legged ones this time, to act on the threat they have already made, to launch lawsuits against farmers, hunters, fishermen (sport and commercial) for causing the 'brutal'.. although not defined.. death of animals. The Liberals REFUSE to clearly exempt traditional methods of hunting, fishing, and farming from this bill. Why? The ONLY reason can be because they want to end the sport of hunting and fishing, and in all probability, in the case of PETA, force the gradual removal of meat from the Canadian diet. How? The death of a thousand cuts is very effective! Sure, the courts may throw out these frivolous law suits, but the liberals know it will cost thousands and thousands of dollars for farmers, hunters, and fishermen/women to defend themselves. Many will lose there livelihoods and life savings in this defence. If you can't be beat in court, then your will be forced to abandon your national traditions by attrition.

       Think I'm joking? Not on your life am I joking. Hunting, fishing and farming means NOTHING to the average person in Urban Ontario, and the liberals know it. The electoral system of this country means the election is over once all the big cities east of Manitoba have voted. Rural and Western votes mean absolutely nothing. As long as the the Urban voter is still gullible enough to vote for the only political party that has been caught RED HANDED stealing tax dollars, and laundering those very tax dollars back into their own coffers to win elections, everything I have said will come to pass. So, if your a hunter, fisherman/woman, farmer, or simply enjoy traditional life outside of big cities, and want to see REAL change for the benefit of REAL democracy. Voting liberal is simply insane because NOTHING will change, and the Liberal Mantra of "Power at ANY cost" will continue to beat you down, until you have no fight left..Then, they win! Again!
