GUN CONTROL:
Liberal Thinking: Death or injury to those who can't use martial arts or other non-lethal means of self-defense-- The young, the old, the infirm, the disabled, the weak, the small, and the pregnant--are simply the necessary sacrifice we must make to criminals, to avoid the risks of letting honest, law abiding people be armed.

DEMOCRATIC REFORM WAS PAUL MARTINS TOP PRIORITY
CLICK HERE, TO SEE HOW THATS GOING:
 http://www.democraticreform.gc.ca/
ALONG WITH, OF COURSE:
Martin calls health care his top priority. ...
Martin is making tax cuts his top priority
National security and military top priority
Paul Martin says human rights top priority
Healthcare: This is, and will remain, our top priority
The sponsorship program was a top priority
Martin said child pornography was his top priority
It was ALL in his RED BOOK:
When backbenchers kept insisting that Paul Martin wasn't following the Red Book, Martin responded: "Screw the Red Book... Don't tell me what's in the Red Book. I wrote the goddamned thing. And I know that it's a lot of crap."

Paul Martin: "I love Canada!" he roared to wild applause at aB.S. Flag
Liberal rally in the nation's capital.

Said, by someone that won't even fly the Canadian Flag on his Ships!
Here's a more appropriate flag for him..

SKIP THE PREACHING, AND PASS THE PORK!
You can buy a lot of spin for $24.5 billion worth of early Christmas presents. The Liberals have spent more than a billion dollars a day, (much of it virtual spending) over the past 23 days, or roughly since the time they realized they were headed for the parliamentary rocks. According to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, it is something of a record -- the gaudiest political spending binge in Canadian history. There have been many dizzying moments as the Liberals spent the numbers off the national credit card. Who could forget the prime minister's ringing declaration that the Liberal Party is all about accountability? Was he referring to HRDC, the gun registry, or the acquisition of those dud subs? My personal favourite from the loot bag of Grit pseudo-promises is a $1,000 deduction for going on vacation. As long as you cross three provincial borders in Canada, the Liberal chairman of the House of Commons finance committee wants to pay for your Griswold Family Vacation. Think about it -- up to $4,000 for a family of four and you don't have to do anything. And like the ad-sponsorship program, it's all in the name of national unity. "It's a no-brainer," Liberal Massimo Pacetti said of his plan. He is right. The Liberal bet will be that pork beats preaching every time. They will drop money from airplanes, recruit star candidates, save the rain forests, rescue the aboriginals, sustain every immigrant, lean on media contacts, pass off surpluses as good fiscal management rather than gross over-taxation -- and hope and pray that the smell of that 50 gallon drum of rotting fish known as the ad sponsorship affair is dissipated by the cheap perfume of promises. (Martin is desperate, more desperate that he has ever been before! Harper has made it known, that if elected he intends to launch an investigation into the 40+ million still missing in the Liberal Ad Scam. No doubt, between the Ad Scam, and the Gun Registry, Many Liberals, and Liberal supporters may very well find themselves under investigation for even more corruption. A conservative win, is a Liberal Nightmare. Only when they hold power, can the liberals continue the cover-ups. They are about to have their covers ripped off. Mark my words, when the liberals get kicked out, the shredders in Ottawa will be working overtime. Just as they did when the country 'finally' wised up to Trudeau and 'his' merry band..)
Liberals send lawyer's letter to Harper over organized crime jab
"Yesterday in the House of Commons, Mr. Harper made a statement concerning organized crime which is false," Martin said on his way into a Kelowna, B.C. conference on aboriginal people. "He should apologize and he should withdraw that statement." John Reynolds, the Tory election co-chair, was adamant there will be no apology: "He's not getting one. It was a crime that was well-organized." Reynolds then cited testimony from the Gomery inquiry, which heard about envelopes stuffed with cash being handed out in restaurants and false paper trails hiding cash transfers to Liberals. Gomery himself compared one witness's behaviour to "money-laundering" in a verbal aside during the inquiry. There was never any explicit reference to organized crime, but there were overtones - enough so that Liberal operative Joe Morselli felt compelled to tell the inquiry that he was born in northern Italy where there is no mafia. Morselli's car was once blown up, and a fellow Liberal testified that after an argument with Morselli he sought RCMP protection. Ad man Jean Brault also testified that he once worried about a restaurant dining companion wearing a police wire. The sponsorship scandal has resulted in the criminal conviction of Montreal ad man Paul Coffin, while Jean Brault, another ad executive, and retired bureaucrat Chuck Guite also face charges. The RCMP is still looking into other possible crimes. "There were crimes involved. The RCMP are investigating, money under the table, bags of cash," Reynolds said. "These were Liberals - no other political party in Canada. If they want to make this an election issue, good for them. . . . "Obviously when there's still $40.5 million missing that even (Justice John Gomery) with all his experts couldn't find, that's a very well organized crime." The Tories issued press releases suggesting the Liberals might have plenty of people to sue - starting with the media - if they want to play the litigation game. The Tory releases included newspaper headlines published during the Gomery inquiry that went arguably farther than Harper, including one in Montreal Le Devoir from April 8, 2005, that read: Mafioso Practices in the Liberal Party of Canada? The dispute was just one of several slurs tossed back and forth between Tories and Liberals as the pre-election jockeying continues. Martin wore a sombre expression as he spoke to reporters. It was reminiscent of his sober response during the last election when the Tories issued a press release accusing him of supporting child pornography. "This is not the first time Mr. Harper has made statements such as this in the shadow of an election campaign," the prime minister said. (It was no simple 'jab'.. It was the liberals that instigated the 'guilt by association' laws. If you are associated with what meets the criteria of a criminal organization, then you are just as guilty as anyone else in that criminal organization. They have effectively used this against the Hells Angels, and ordinary firearms owners, for example, and now it's being effectively used against them. Martin need only answer TWO questions.. Was what happened a crime? Did it seem Organized? There is no possible way he could state that both question should not be answered YES. Therefore, it WAS "Organized Crime", Organized by some members of the liberal party, and 'some' have been charged with criminal offences because of it. Harper is absolutely 100% correct!.)
Secret Tory Leaflet Pledged Middle Income Tax Cut
A Conservative government would cut income taxes for middle-income Canadians, reduce employment-insurance premiums, boost student loans and provide daycare money directly to parents under plans included in the party's confidential spring campaign brochure. The brochure, which was obtained by The Globe and Mail and prepared last May when the Tories failed to bring down the government, also suggests focusing foreign aid to a smaller number of "truly needy countries," improving ways to resolve trade disputes, and appointing only elected senators to the upper chamber. The opposition also says it would ape the Liberals by implementing all of the present government's "tax cuts, both personal and corporate." The document appeared last May on the party's internal campaign website and was intended for MPs and workers to download as they knocked on doors searching for votes. The party prepared a similar brochure for the 2004 campaign that served as a précis for a beefed-up document. A substantial portion of the newest brochure appears to have been already taken up by the Liberals.(The defeat of the Liberals in a non confidence vote due Monday, is the BEST Christmas present ANY Canadian could ask for. Now, if the West can Only get Ralph Klown to keep his mouth shut this time...)
Animal rights terrorists threaten our safety
These animal rights extremists are now headed for New Jersey.  The group Win Animal Rights (or WAR), an organization that says its members are “unapologetic supporters of the freedom fighters that call themselves the Animal Liberation Front” is now looking for volunteers to “sabotage” the upcoming black bear hunt in New Jersey.  WAR’s connection to the Animal Liberation Front extends beyond mere vocal admiration.  WAR’s founder is Camille Hankins, who also serves as one of the national press officers for the North American Animal Liberation Press Office, a group that denies official connection to, but acts as the press conduit for the Animal Liberation Front.   Dr. Jerry Vlasak is a trauma surgeon in Los Angeles, California.  He also serves as one of the press officers for the NAALPO.  According to a recent story on “60 Minutes”, Vlasak has said, “I think for five lives, ten lives, 15 human lives, we could save a million, two million, ten million nonhuman lives.”  He told CBS, “I think people who torture innocent beings should be stopped. And if they won't stop when you ask them nicely, they won't stop when you demonstrate to them what they're doing is wrong, then they should be stopped using whatever means necessary.”  There’s no evidence that Camille Hankins has ever disavowed or distanced herself from these statements from her colleague.  (There is certainly no shortage of morons on either side of the border. This is the very reason the Canadian Animal protection bills have never made it through to law.. They simply open the door to these morons to lay frivolous charges against hunters and fishermen(women). As the government says, frivolous charges will in all likelihood will be thrown out, but not before costing the sports person or farmer thousands in defence. By the way, I've heard this group is also offering "Rescue Turkeys" to people this Christmas.. They promote the life of a Turkey by Rescuing it from a farm.. Just for your information, if you buy one of these "Rescue Turkeys" Just follow the same recipe and cooking temperatures you would use for any other Turkey..)
The legacy of the federal Liberals becomes more dubious by the day.
We already knew that they couldn't be trusted with our money. They have demonstrated that time and again over the past 12 years wasting untold billions of dollars on everything from chewing gum to computers, from a gun registry to a sponsorship scandal. We knew too that they couldn't be trusted to clean up politics, as Paul Martin promised to do when he assumed the prime ministership. We still see pork barrel appointments and contracts being awarded to friends. We still see political opponents being lured across the floor of the House of Commons with promises of cabinet positions. Now, virtually on the eve of a government announcement of billions more dollars in federal funds to fix up appalling conditions on Native reserves comes word that the Grits have been turning a blind eye to the problems that have plagued many of them for years. Johanne Gelinas, commissioner of the environment and sustainable development, told a Commons committee yesterday that Health Canada and Indian Affairs have been well aware of situations like that in Kashechewan, but did nothing to correct them until forced to do so under the glare of publicity. Gelinas says Indian Affairs found risks to drinking water quality on three-quarters of Native reserves in 2001, but there are still no laws or regulations governing their water supply. She told the aboriginal affairs committee that some Native communities have been under boil-water advisories for years. Hmmm. And we have had a federal Liberal government for years ... 12 of them to be exact. Yet this same gang, from Martin on down, will go on the election trail -- either days or weeks from now -- and tell us with a straight face that it was the Opposition that disrupted plans to sort out the problems on reserves. That only a Liberal government can be trusted to put things right. It would be amusing if the truth weren't so tragic. (To get change, you actually have to VOTE for change. If the liberals, by some miracle, actually win the next election with a majority, there will be no change. They will simply again, pull their chairs up to the trough, and continue feeding themselves and their friends on your tax dollars. Business as usual. Why does Urban Ontario find this so hard to believe? Perhaps if Toronto was drinking sewage, we might see a change right across the country. After all, it was Urban crime, that made it necessary for aboriginals and every one else in the middle of nowhere, to get a license and register their firearms. Perhaps if  big cities had to pick the odd turd out of their drinking water, something might (read WOULD) be done.. Mr. Dithers, and Mr. Barely understandable, have had 12 years, but only react when someone or something threatens to kick over the liberal pork barrel! You now have that chance 'yet again'. Or, you could simple bend over, and be "serviced" by the Liberals once more!)
Don Cherry wades in on Canada's gun laws on his daily radio show
TORONTO (CP) - Don Cherry expanded his repertoire of rants by wading in on Canada's gun laws in his daily radio show Thursday. Cherry said Canada's gun laws should be tougher, but he also objected to the Liberal government's gun registry, which has over-run its projected costs. "If you get caught with a gun, a loaded gun, you know illegal, you get two years in jail," Cherry said on his syndicated show. "You got two years and if (you) do a robbery, you get the two years and then you go from there, whatever you did, you get on top of that." " Two billion (dollars) and growing we spent on that," Cherry complained. "Absolute ridiculous laws, stupid people. For two billion dollars we could make more prisons and shove those crooks and everything in there."(I wonder if the Auditor General could release a 'mini report' on the 'other' liberal scam generally known as the 'gun registry' BEFORE the next election! )
$527 MILLION WASTED ON GUN REGISTRY COMPUTER CONTRACTS
“Will it take the Auditor General or a ‘Gomery’ to find out why it cost so much?”
Ottawa – Today, Garry Breitkreuz, M.P. for Yorkton-Melville and Conservative Firearms Critic, released a 14-page document listing more than $527 million in computer contracts issued by the Canada Firearms Centre since 1997. The 133 contracts and contract amendments were issued to five companies. “How can the gun registry computer systems possibly cost more than half a billion dollars?” asked Breitkreuz. “The size of these numbers never ceases to amaze me. After all, it cost only $8 million to register 40 million cows and that registry actually works.”(I would sure like to see THIS hit the fan during the election campaign.. How could it cost that much? Simple... The Liberals are entitled to their entitlements..)
Wanna Read a REAL Load of Crap?
Wendy strikes again...
Firearms Regulation: Canada in the International Context
In 'this' her current monument to the "blind leading the stupid"  she again blames suicides on guns, and again, drags out the totally debunked "kellerman" study.. This person has a serious problem. I wonder how much the Liberals 'paid' her this time to publish this load of shameless propaganda. The biggest future problem she's going to have, will be her 'funds' drying up after the thieving liberals are finally kicked out of power. One quote I find rather interesting: "While some have suggested that firearms deaths and injuries are not serious problems compared to other causes of death such as cancer, public health professionals have tended to set priorities based not only on the rate of death but on the extent to which many of the deaths were preventable." If Public health professionals set their priorities on 'preventable' causes, they must surely be horrified by their own profession. Statistics Canada has shown that thousands and thousands of Canadians die needlessly every year due to misdiagnosis, improper or simply wrong medication, surgical errors, medical mistakes. As a matter of fact, the number of people killed by firearms, even including suicides as Wendy likes to do, the final number is minuscule compared to the number of people that die PREVENTABLE DEATHS, every year at the hands of medical professionals. Yes, it's hard to read crap like like the stuff the Liberals pay her to scribble, but it only works in convincing the ignorant, and others that continue to vote liberal.
Chrétien slides into second, his lieutenants tagged out
With Mr. Gomery finally handing down his first of two reports, it seems that what we believed to be true has been confirmed. Our country is being controlled by a machine that goes to the heart of our system, and one that has learned to use the country's own finances to propagate itself. The corruption starts at the height of the Liberal party and works its way down. What a disgrace. Mr. Chretien once said that he takes responsibility for the good things that happened in his government and the bad. Well, Jean Chretien, that would, by your own words, make you responsible for running the most corrupt political party to ever hold office in our land. That says a lot. What also says a lot is that many of the people that you handpicked and endorsed are still in power today, and are still in control of our finances. The Liberal Party of Canada now has an image equivalent to what the Mafia used to hold. One can only imagine the backroom deals that we don't yet know about.(The next audit of the gun registry is up and coming.. That should provide the final nail in the Liberal Coffin)
Guns in Canada not an American problem
After squandering $2 billion on the pointless and useless gun registry, our federal government has now discovered legal guns aren't the main problem after all. Prime Minister Paul Martin, struck by lightning on the road to the next election, discovered last Monday, while the U.S. Secretary of State was on her way to Canada, the real problem is guns smuggled illegally into Canada from the United States. Justice Minister Irwin Cotler promptly came up with a half-cocked scheme to have the provinces empower Canadians to sue U.S. gun manufacturers whose legal products are used illegally in Canada. It's quite a doctrine, that. The U.S. Congress, as it happens, has just passed a law shielding gun makers and dealers from liability in many negligence lawsuits; it's a bad law in some ways, but so would be any Canadian law saying the maker of a legal product is responsible for the way it's used. Please do not roll up this newspaper and beat anyone to death, no matter how infuriating you find the editorials: we wouldn't much like to be sued, and that surely wouldn't be far down the road. (As for citizens suing the government in Ottawa for bad decisions, on the gun registry, say, where do we sign up?)(Ask a Liberal a question and you get one of two things. A completely moronic excuse/answer for whatever shitstorm they happen to be in at the moment, or they simply dance around the issue and give no answer at all.. These are the folks that are running the country, happily dipping into the tax pot whenever someone in their midst comes up with any harebrained scheme that could possibly (a.)get them elected again or (b.)make them and their friends some money/patronage/etc.. Yup thanks Urban Ontario/Toronto no wonder all this crap comes out of Ottawa! It's simply full of assholes)
