Liberals have forgotten about average Canadians
While Liberals have fiddled, essential programs such as health care
has crumbled; crime and the proliferation of guns are at an all-time
high; taxes continue to rise; education and the environment are being
destroyed and Canada's relationship with its next door neighbour and
biggest trading partner has deteriorated. "The fact is, this government
has failed at every major initiative," he said. The
Liberals have: wasted billions of dollars on an inept long-gun
registry; a recently introduced child care program will only create
more government bureaucracy instead of helping children and
families;
repeatedly broken their promises such as repealing the GST; and more
egregiously the Liberals have been caught red handed in a corruption
scandal. "No wonder people are dis-interested in politics," he said. In
the process, the Liberals have labeled the Conservatives with a "hidden
agenda" and placed a Darth Vader helmet on the head of the party's
leader Stephen Harper." "They say we are bad for Canada, scary and out
of sync," he said. "They have vilified us Conservatives." Yet it has
been the Liberals who have abused Canadians' trust and ignored their
needs, he said.(If
Harper is characterized as Darth Vader, it's only fitting that
Martin be shown as the Fagan he is. As the beleaguered taxpayers beg
for more of their money back from the thieving liberals, Martin Shouts
"MORE? You want MORE?" All the time telling you how increased
punishment for criminals is no deterrent, and any reduction in the gas
tax in meaningless, even the fraudulent 1.5 cent a litre tax they
levied to fight the long gone deficit. The taxes just disappear into
liberal friendly pockets, and punishment for crimes, may just come back
and bite the liberals in their thieving collective asses. You want
change? You have to VOTE for change, and THAT starts by kicking these
bastards out at the first opportunity.)
Waste of money
Ten years after the federal Liberals introduced their now-infamous gun
registry, pretty much everything that opponents predicted could go
wrong has gone wrong. As the critics warned at the time, costs have
exploded. A program originally supposed to be self-sustaining
financially after a modest upfront investment has now cost taxpayers at
least $1 billion and perhaps as much as $2 billion. Imagine what even a
fraction of that amount could have done to boost the number of police
on the streets who have to deal with all the gun crime in this country,
which was supposed to be prevented by this useless registry! As the
Sun's Maria McClintock notes in her two-part feature reviewing the
registry, ending today, its runaway costs were condemned in 2002 by
Auditor General Sheila Fraser. Fraser added that even worse than the
misspending was that these cost overruns were hidden from Parliament -
and thus, from taxpayers. And as we've all seen - and as the critics
predicted - the registry has failed as an effective tool in combatting
urban street crime, which was how the Liberals sold it to Canadians. (Seeing
that the Auditor Generals report on the gun registry is due about the
same time as the Gomery report, I wonder what the liberals have up
their sleeves to put put a stop to this 'coincidence'? I personally
think they will engineer a way to create an election, while for some
ungodly reason their still up in the polls, and find a way to blame it
on the conservatives. Remember, a 'Martin' is just another form of
Weasel!)
One Man's Opinion - Crime
This issue hits the Liberals where it hurts
because any “get-tough-on-crime” stance that they adopt will only
prompt the question “And just where have you been for the last 12
years?” Taking police off the streets and cash out of our pockets for
this counter-productive Gun Registry? Taking an incredibly soft
approach on the escalating marijuana trade that’s linked to organized
crime, giving young people the impression that they’re immune from
severe punishments – and look at the decisions of our courts! The
Liberals have had 12 years to try to turn the tide. Their failure will
prompt many to want to hear the Harper plan.(And the liberal plan of course is to buy basketballs for the gettos, and continue hassling duck hunters..)
Canada Blames Us
Gun-control folly here, up north, across the pond...
If you have a problem, it's often easier to blame someone else rather than deal with it. And with Canada's murder rate rising 12 percent last year and a recent rash of murders by gangs in Toronto and other cities,
it's understandable that Canadian politicians want a scapegoat. That at
least was the strategy Canada's premiers took when they met last
Thursday with the new U.S. ambassador to Canada, David Wilkins, and
spent much of their time blaming their crime problems on guns smuggled
in from the United States. Of course, there is a minor problem with the attacks on the U.S.
Canadians really don't know what the facts are, and the reason is
simple: Despite billions of dollars spent on the Canada's gun-registration program
and the program's inability to solve crime, the government does not how
many crime-guns were seized in Canada, let alone where those guns came
from. Many things affect crime: The rise of drug-gang violence in Canada
and Britain is an important part of the story, just as it has long been
important in explaining the U.S.'s rates. (Few Canadians appreciate
that 70 percent of American murders take place in just 3.5 percent of our counties,
and that a large percentage of those are drug-gang related.) Just as
these gangs can smuggle drugs into the country, they can smuggle in
weapons to defend their turf.
With Canada's reported violent-crime rate of 963 per 100,000 in 2003, a rate about twice the U.S.'s (which is 475),
Canada's politicians are understandably nervous. While it is always
easier to blame another for your problems, the solution to crime is
often homegrown.(liberals have
always taken the easy, political route to problem solving, and they
depend largely on the ignorance of the general population to get their
follies into law. Unfortunately for the growing number of victims, they
are usually successful in their pandering to the ignorant. Banning guns
sounds like a 'great' idea. The only problem is, the only guns it
affects are the one YOU need to protect yourself from the criminal that
will ALWAYS have access to guns. Canadians live in a liberal dominated
country, where it is much more acceptable, for your daughter to be
raped and murdered, that it is for her to defend herself, and possibly
kill her attacker. A young girl walking home alone at midnight was
abducted in Ottawa, people reported hearing screams, and
body found yesterday may very well be hers. A simple can of mace in her
purse may have all been all that was needed to save her. (If it only saves one life eh!)
But, had the police discovered her with such a prohibited weapon, she
would have been a victim of our 'Just-Us' system, and fined for daring
to protect herself. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE???
The ONLY way you are ever going to see things change, is to grow some
balls, and VOTE for change. As long as the Liberals remain in power,
NOTHING WILL CHANGE and it's YOUR fault.)
Bears become ‘pain in the butt'
Ministry has tough time responding to dozens of bear calls
Marcel Jodouin, 71, used to take a ride up to the Papineau Cameron
Township dump to see the black bears, just out of curiosity. He doesn't
have to anymore — now they come visit him and it's getting on his
nerves. Jodouin said the provincial strategy of
trap-and-relocate is flawed because it merely foists the problem on
some other township and he would prefer to see the spring bear hunt
returned to keep the population in check. "They're getting to be a pain
in the butt," Jodouin
told The Nugget Monday evening as he described days of frustration
waiting for help and grandchildren too scared to ride ATVs on his
five-hectare property. More than a dozen bears have been trapped and
relocated from the area this fall, and an anonymous comment from one
area citizen suggest at least a dozen more have been shot by residents.
Powassan OPP also had bears on their radar, with a
big one allegedly "running at large" in the McCarthy Street area of
Trout Creek. North Bay OPP responded to a call in Bonfield after
someone hit a cub on Highway 531. Jeff Fabian, one of two MNR bear
management
technicians, told The Nugget Thursday he was heading into Mattawa to
deal with a long list of complaints. Fabian said they trapped and
removed 17 bears so far this year, with Mattawa and Trout Creek the
most notable hotspots. Jodouin figures that number is likely up over 20
now
after seeing a 160-kilogram (350-pound) bear in a trap off Donald
Street Sunday and hearing about another one caught east of Mattawa
Monday morning. He also said a bow hunter dropped by wanting to
weigh a massive bruin hunted in the township, but Jodouin said his
scales were set up too close to the ground to even try. "It was seven
feet long . . . the size of the head was unreal, the paws must have
been 12 inches wide," he said. After the hunter found some scales that
could do the job, Jodouin said he was told "it was 600 pounds gutted."
Jodouin said Fabian showed up Monday and apologized
for the delay, showing him a pile of MNR complaint forms he's been
trying to deal with. As of Monday night, a trap was set up within sight
of his home and he's brought the dog in for the night. "It's not that
guy's fault," Jodouin said, referring to the MNR bear technician, "and
they're getting them." But Jodouin said the MNR employees are
outnumbered,
with dozens of bears seen at the dump at the same time six or more are
being seen in town. (Gee!! If
only there were more 'berries' in the bush the bears would never be
seen! Well, at least 'that's' what the bear experts in downtown Toronto
are telling us.. They must have lots of berries, because it's highly
doubtful if even one of them has even 'seen' a bear in the wild! It's
only a mater of time, the first to get eaten is garbage and bird
feeders, then pets, then kids.. Remember, It's not the thousands and
thousands of bears not being culled by the cancelled spring bear
hunt, it's the 'lack of berries in the bush'! I wonder where all the
berries have gone? It couldn't be that they are being eaten by
thousands and thousands of bears not culled by the cancelled spring
bear hunt? In the mean time, keep a rifle handy, your back door is a
very flimsy obstacle to a hungry bear)
Calls for return of spring bear hunt after woman killed
Conservation groups have renewed calls for the return of the spring black bear hunt.
The move comes after an Ontario woman was killed by a black bear in a provincial park on Tuesday.
The
Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen's Alliance and the Canadian Outdoor
Heritage Alliance said the spring hunt would help manage the number of
black bears. Without the hunt, bears no longer fear humans and consider
people part of their "wilderness buffet." RELATED STORY: Black bear kills woman camper north of Chapleau, Ont. A
spokesperson for Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources said she
doesn't believe a spring bear hunt would have made a difference in this
incident.
Jolanta Kowalski said the hunt is not going to help with a predatory bear. (She's
right! Returning the hunt now, would not have saved this woman., but
it will save the life of the next man/woman/child that might be mauled
to death by a predatory bear forced out of his area by a larger bear.
Unfortunately, capturing bears, and relocating them, only results in a
bear fight someplace else. There are so many bears in the bush now, all
the prime feeding areas have been claimed by large boars, forcing the
smaller ones out. Cubs, not belonging to the 'dominant boar' are killed
and eaten, thereby making way for the dominant boars genetic offspring.
Hundreds of more cubs are being killed now then there ever were, and
bears are being seen and killed or captured in areas that haven't had
bears in over a hundred years. Yet, still the politically driven,
catering to the city folks who think all bears are 'Whinny the Pooh',
say Ontario does not have a bear problem. When in fact, Downtown
Toronto does not have a bear problem. I would invite any of them to
take an evening walk in the bush around the Huntsville/Gravenhurst
area ! That'll scare the Pooh out of them!)
Bear kills one in Canada, injures another
CHAPLEAU, Ontario, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Wildlife officials in Canada are on
the lookout Wednesday for a wounded black bear after it attacked a
couple in a park, killing one of them. The Toronto Star reports Dr.
Jacqueline Perry was killed while Marc Jordan is in serious but stable
condition in a Sudbury, Canada, hospital after the bear attacked them.
The two were in their campsite at Missinaibi Lake Provincial Park near
Chapleau. Jordan managed to stab the bear as it was attacking Perry.
This is the latest in a season full of bear-human confrontations in the
area. Later Wednesday two men were able to scare a bear away from them.
Police Constable Karen Farand said the lack of blueberries this season
is forcing bears to forage for food elsewhere. (You've seen the signs on the side of the road that advertise "Wild" blueberries! Yup!
It's those damn 'blueberries' again, just how frigging Wild are they?
.. The government should do something about the great northern
blueberry shortage that seems to be killing people by proxy!
Ignore the hundred and hundreds bears in the area that have survived
because of the political cancellation of a hunt that has controlled
their numbers for years. Ignore the fact that there is not one shred of
scientific proof the hunt was detrimental to the ecology, or the
survival of the species in general. Ignore the people that are directly
affected by this phoney 'save the bears' policy, and pander only to the
many more votes in the big cities, where people base there vast
knowledge of bears on Whinny the Pooh books, and Disney movies. I
wonder which is worse? the Bear problem, or the growing threat of
'stupid' city politicians)
Going after law abiding citizens
Ever since the recent outbreak of gun violence in Toronto, the Toronto
Police Force, the City of Toronto and the provincial government have
started to get tough. Unfortunately, while the gangbangers are shooting
it out almost unimpeded, the police and politicos have decided to get
tough with the law abiding citizens of Toronto. Going after the good
guys in Toronto started when
Mayor David Miller came up with perhaps one of the silliest suggestions
that has ever been made by any Toronto mayor; quite an accomplishment
considering that Mel Lastman once held occupied that office. Miller
stated that no one in Toronto needs a gun so they should all be stored
in one central facility. The fact that thugs could break into such a
facility and steal enough weapons to supply an army (a real army, not
what Canada calls one) ever occurred to the left’s extremely fair
haired boy.
The most egregious example of going after people
who have not broken the law occurred when Toronto Police Sgt. Rob
Hargan openly bragged to the media about how he seized a young person’s
t shirt. The offending shirt had a picture of a handgun and was
accompanied by the words, "Rule no. 1 — be armed". As disgusting as the
t shirt might be, it is not illegal. The cop was not only proud about
seizing the lawful property of a Toronto resident but he threatened
that anyone seen wearing such a shirt would be "hassled" by the police.
Someone in Chief Billy Blair’s force noticed that this would be a tad
illegal and publicly backtracked.
We don’t know anything about the person who was wearing the shirt
but it’s a good bet he wasn’t black. Stopping and seizing legal
property from a young black male would be racial profiling.(Miller 'The Red'
is a typical 'socially educated by television' city boy, that wouldn't
know cow shit if he ate it for breakfast. He also made the inane
statement that the only reason anyone would have a handgun was to
commit a crime, thereby insulting millions of sports shooters right
across Canada. As for the T- Shirt! I happen to believe what it said
was true, and so should EVERY person that runs a convenience store in
Toronto. If 'they' adhered to 'Rule #1' there would be a hell of a lot
less of them getting robbed and killed. Miller is going to be a 'one
term' mayor because if this guy was anymore left wing, he'd be flying
in circles so tight he would vanish up his own asshole!)
Another big gun headache
Canadians must be so deadened to the
bureaucratic nightmare that is the federal long gun registry that any
new piece of news about the program’s failures barely qualifies as
news. However, western Manitobans and other rural Canadians who
understand
this ill-conceived program has always been and will always be a
colossal waste of time and money can only shake their heads again as
the Canada Firearms Centre and the Liberal government tried to pull
another fast one on us.
First passed in 1995 in response to public pressure in Ontario and
Quebec about escalating gun violence — including the 1989 shooting of
13 women at a polytechnical college in Montreal — the long gun registry
has been a source of anger, confusion and rage among the vast majority
of Canada’s gun owners. We were first told the program would cost $2
million once the Canada
Firearms Centre recouped registration fees — which always seemed like a
blatant cash grab — from gun owners. When Auditor-General Sheila Fraser
released her report on the mess in 2002, she estimated the true cost
had grown to $1 billion. Two years later, CBC unearthed documents
through the Freedom of Information Act that showed the price tag had
actually doubled to $2 billion. To its credit, the Liberal government
made an after-the-fact attempt to
rein in costs by capping the registry’s annual budget at $25 million
and waiving the registration fees gun owners were forced to pay.
It was a needed admission of error, but at the same time it doesn’t
make up for the fact the Liberals have wasted $2 billion — an amount
that could have built 33 additions to the Brandon Regional Health
Centre — on a program that has never lived up to its lofty expectations
as a way of curbing crime. Look no further than the waves of shootings
in Toronto to see that making hunters register guns does nothing to
curb urban gun violence. No change short of scrapping the registry
altogether will make western Manitobans and Canadians happy about it.(It 'must' be working!! After, Attacks in Downtown Toronto by hordes of duck hunters has remained at 'Zero' for a few hundred years now! And now that ropes have replaced firearms for hundreds and hundreds of suicides, the Liberals (and Wendy)
can accurately crow about a drastic drop in gun deaths since C-68 was
foisted upon us! Isn't that wonderful! All this 'safety(?)' and only
One Billion, Nine hundred and Ninety Eight Million over budget! )
Canadians About to get 'Serviced' Again!
Service Canada has begun operating as a stand-alone agency inside
government, but has yet to announce its new identity or advertise the
range of services. It will be launched next week or the week after,
government officials said.
"I think it will go a long way to helping rebuild the level of trust
that [Canadians] have in government, if we get the front-line services
right," Ms. Stronach said. "It may not be perfect, but our aim is to do
much better than we have been doing."
The civil-service critics, however, insist it has already become a
monster department, the heir to the giant department that Prime
Minister Paul Martin split in two when he took office 20 months ago,
creating Human Resources and Skills Development Canada and Social
Development Canada.
Some critics deride its "executive head," Maryantonett Flumian,
because she headed the famously over-budget gun registry. Defenders say
Ms. Flumian was brought in to fix it after it went wrong, and is an
innovator.(I'm
not saying that this might not be a bad 'idea' but it's being run by
Liberals and their standard bureaucrats, headed up by the the ex leader
of the 'gun registry' for a 'turncoat' minister that has absolutely no
regard for the people that voted her into parliament as a MP in the
first place.. As for "Service"? Any farmer can tell you what 'that'
means, and the Liberals have been doing it to us for 12 years. Even
bullet riddled Toronto might be looking forward to the next election
just to get these liars and thieves away from the country's cash
drawer!)
Another gun registry delay:
Ottawa defers regulations for police, gun-makers. In what has become a familiar
refrain, the Canada Firearms Centre has once again quietly put off
several gun regulations that were supposed to take effect this month.
Among the measures delayed until next year is a
provision to have police forces across Canada register all their
weapons - including seized guns - with the federal agency. New rules
governing gun shows have been deferred until November 2006, while
regulations that would force gun-makers to identify all firearms with
internationally recognized markings won't come into force until the end
of 2007.(A
billion dollars wasted. and it's STILL a useless, ineffective mess. It
was a farce to begin with, and it will be a farce right to the very
end, when the conservative government finally puts it out of it's
misery, and re-directs the much needed funds to where they will really
do some good. No one should know better how useless this duck hunter
registry is, than the people of bullet ridden Toronto..Tired of running
for cover every time you hear a backfire, or any other loud sudden
noise? A billion dollars could have stopped a lot of guns, drugs, and
criminals, if only the Liberals thought 'that' was more important than
pandering to people like Wendy Cukier and the other paranoids that
think 'all' guns are owned by criminals, and if they could only disarm
the law abiding all would be well.. How safe do YOU feel now Toronto? )
How many do guns defend?
Joyce Cordoba, 46, stood behind the deli counter while working at a
Wal-Mart in Albuquerque, N.M. Suddenly, her ex-husband -- against whom
Mrs. Cordoba had a restraining order -- showed up, jumped over the deli
counter, and began stabbing her. Due Moore, a 72-year-old Wal-Mart
customer, witnessed the violent attack. Mr. Moore, legally permitted to
carry a concealed weapon, pulled out his gun and shot and killed the
former husband. Mrs. Cordoba survived the brutal attack and is
recovering from her wounds. This raises a question. How often do Americans use guns for
defensive purposes? In 2003, we know 12,548 people died through
nonsuicide gun violence, including homicides, accidents and cases of
undetermined intent. University of California-Los Angeles professor emeritus James Q.
Wilson, a respected expert on crime, police practices and guns, says:
"We know from Census Bureau surveys that something beyond a 100,000
uses of guns for self-defense occur every year. We know from smaller
surveys of a commercial nature that the number may be as high 2.5
million or 3 million. We don't know what the right number is, but
whatever the right number is, it's not a trivial number."(If you listen to paranoid flakes from the Canadian Coalition for gun control, (and you know who I mean) You would think that the only time a gun is used in this country, is by the 'odd' duck hunter (and they really think duck hunters are odd!), and of course the gang banger blowing away a rival. The Mauser studies show
67,000 Canadian 'reported' used of a firearm for defence. About half
from 4 legged vicious animals, and the other half from two legged
vicious animals. So, if out of those 33,500 'reported' uses of a
firearm in defence against a 'human' attacker, only 1 in 10 uses
actually saved life, then 3,350 lives have been saved. Keeping in mind,
the vast majority of defensive uses only required the firearm to be
seen by the attacker, and not actually firing a shot or injuring
anyone. In those cases even the attackers life was saved. Also, and
more so then in the U.S.A., many of the defensive uses go unreported.
Past history has shown, anyone in Canada, pulling out the old shotgun
to scare off a would be intruder, would probably not call the police
and report the incident for fear of being charged for everything from
having an unregistered shotgun (The majority ARE still unregistered, and will remain that way), to unsafe storage (If
you can retrieve it and load it fast enough to save a life, then the
police will figure it probably wasn't stored securely), At
which point, the police will ask for a search warrant, and tear your
home apart looking for more things to charge you with. If the shotgun
'was' registered, you can now count on the police removing ALL of your firearms in case you have 'defend' yourself again. If
you defend yourself, first in your home against the intruder, you will
then have to defend yourself in the courts against the government. In Canada, it's more politically correct, and financially less ruining, to simply be killed by the intruder. THIS
IS WHY YOU DON'T HEAR OF PEOPLE DEFENDING THEMSELVES WITH GUNS IN THIS
COUNTRY. What's WRONG with this picture? Canadians are 'liberally'
groomed victims, living in a culture of defencelessness. And, until
this changes, the criminals will always be in control of your life!
THAT, you can count on!)
Raise Minimum Sentences
Finally, a politician who seems to be on the right track when it comes
to cracking down on gun crime in Canada. Surprisingly enough the bright
idea comes from a New Democrat, and regular readers will know that we
don't often agree with what the lefties have to say. But Manitoba
Attorney General Gord Mackintosh hit the nail on the head when he
demanded that the feds get tough with people convicted of smuggling
guns into Canada. That, we suggest, would do much more to help rid the
streets of illegal weapons than the disgraced gun registry program will
ever achieve. It's a safe bet that the majority of gun violence is
perpetrated by career criminals, not by farmers and hunters who have
suddenly run amok with their rifles. And we suspect that the bikers and
gangsters and drug dealers who pack weapons as part of their nefarious
lifestyles aren't lining up at the local outdoor store to buy their
firearms and ammo. (Finally a
politician ? Where the hell have you guys been? The Conservatives have
been saying this for years? But, I guess it's only 'news' when spouted
by the 'Left' Eh!)
Ontario to Blitz Gun shops
In an effort to stem a recent rash of gun violence in Toronto, the
Ontario government announced it will begin conducting sweeps of gun
shops to help reduce the number of illegal guns in the city.
"[We want] to ensure that we have safe standards in place," said the
province's Attorney-General Michael Bryant at a press conference in
Toronto Thursday.
However, Mr. Bryant said the sweep will be limited to businesses and
not individual homes, as that is the purview of the federal government
and the gun registry.(Another
absolutely useless, knee jerk, liberal response to the "please do
something" plea from Toronto citizens. It's ironic, that the very few
'gun shop' robberies that 'have' occurred in Ontario, resulted in the
deaths of gun shop employees! Why? Because although being surrounded by
firearms, they were unable to defend themselves, or prevent firearms
from being stolen. Why? Because Liberals think that allowing them to be
armed for there own, and general citizen protection, is not politically
correct. It's better that they die and let the guns be stolen and used
to kill others it would seem, then defend themselves by drawing a
'gasp!!!' holstered pistol! Canada, and Urban Ontario in particular, is
populated
by carefully, socially, cultivated victims, living in a culture of
defencelessness. No wonder gun toting criminals always have the upper
hand. Want things to change? Do you want to see criminals actually
going to jail, and not summer camp? Are you fed up of wondering if YOU
or your children will be the next victim in the crossfire? Then for
Christ sake, find your self a pair of balls, and vote these Liberal
Leeches out of office. Because until their gone, there will be no
changes to our liberal 'Just-Us' system, and the gunfire, and death
will continue. The time is for ACTION, not group hugs, and hand
wringing. The liberals have done NOTHING to curb crime in their entire
12 years in office, but they have certainly spread a lot of your tax
dollars around, amongst their friends and supporters. The two billion
wasted on a registry of 'duck hunters' is only the 'tip' of the liberal
iceberg!)
So Much For Gun Control!
Anne McLellan declared that "I'm very concerned about the whole
question of gun violence and about the whole question of gun
smuggling." Great. Although she immediately blunted the impact of those
remarks by insisting that "we have no evidence that there are more guns
being smuggled into the country than ever before." Well, there's only one of two choices here,
and neither one reflects terribly well on current Liberal crime
policies. Either these guns are getting into the country through the
United States or from other countries through our ports of entry and
the federal government's customs agents are not able to prevent it, or
these guns are, in fact, originating from here in Canada and the
$2-billion boondoggle of a gun registry is - surprise, surprise! - not
stopping criminal from using guns. Back in late 1994, when then-justice
minister Allan Rock first unveiled the gun-control program, he
declared, "This tough new gun-control program will improve public
safety and also send a strong message that the criminal misuse of guns
will not be tolerated." Eleven years later, the Liberals are
suddenly worried about gun crime because Toronto has been blitzed by
gun violence. In a more sane country, Toronto would realize that the
gun registry has been exposed as an expensive waste of money and would
punish the Liberals for lying to them by voting them out. And the Grits
would shut down their useless registry and put the money into actual
police officers fighting crime. (As
Torontonians run for cover, the Liberals tell them 'crime is down'! Of
course it's down! Down Town that is! It's a hell of a good job they
spent that billion or two ridding Toronto streets of 'duck hunters'
instead of foolishly wasting it on crap like border security, and more
police officers patrolling major city streets Etc. After all, everybody
knows it's those damn 'hip-hop' duck hunters causing all the problems,
and the sooner all legitimate, and legally obtained firearms and their
owners are scrutinized, tracked and punished, the sooner crime will
come to an end in Toronto streets. Well, according to the liberals
anyway!)
