As it draws nearer and nearer to my seventeenth birthday, and my website's first birthday, I feel as though I should be doing something special. Maybe I'll reorganize Soapbox to have each thought on an individual page. I did add a paper, a college application essay, to the collection of papers. Also, I added a brief documentary on bowling to make the Documentary Depot look a little more like an actual section rather than a steaming pile of crap. If you know of anything I could do on my birthday to make it special, please let me know. I also want to have a surprise party for my website. Give it a gift. The gift of love.

I have finished profiles on David and my kitty. Also, I am pleased to report that this month there have been more hits than in any other month, since the creation of this website. This calls for a celebration of some sort. I think I'll go watch some TV.

What a glorious three-day weekend! I've finished one of the short stories that I had abandoned to long ago and added some pictures to the CWPG. Expect a new documentary to show up sometime soon, or something along that line of creativity.

Today I did some basic maintenance on the site and a little reorganization. It's the weekend, so there should be a small surge of updates in the near future. Be sure to visit Alex's website sometime soon, but I warn you, there isn't much there yet. On a side note, I have this funny feeling like I'm getting bored of St. Peter. I'm not sure why it would come in a sudden burst like this either, but hopefully it will pass. God I feel long winded when blogging.

Aha!

I have finally finished part five of how I spent my winter vacation. My first mini-series is officially done! In the next week or so, expect to see several new entries to written works and a new section devoted to people I know. It's a spiritual sucessor to Person of the Week. Hopefully it won't crumble into dust. In any case, I've been quite happy with the amount of work I've put into this place, and I should also note that my birthday is coming fairly close, which is cool. It's also going to be the one year anniversary of my website. I'm not sure whether to have a giant blow out of stuff, or extend it into a week of glory. Maybe I'll put up a poll. Oh, what glorious triumph of triumphs! This lowly site has been capapulted to the top of google's search results for ben friesen. I didn't even have to put it in parethesis around it! You have no idea how happy I am over this development. Now, like minded Ben Friesens' around the globe can find me with ease! Yea! I'm shaking right now.

Okay, done with the drama. Expect a holiday update sometime soon, I'll be done reading Lullaby until then, and I plan on bringing a notebook along to family gatherings. Be patient, loyal fan, for good things come to those who check in on my website often. Later.

Welcome to the new and improved Inside Ben's Head. Nothing has really changed except for organization and navigation. I hope you enjoy the new look. Also, things are going to get pretty around here. Secondly, I'm adding to everything as we speak. Thirdly, due to popular demand, you can see Ten things I hate about Jacob and Kelly. Be glad that I have written this, ingrates. I had to skip out of Art II under the guise of working on a paper so that I could update for the week of glory. The party has been green lighted but may be moved to Friday. Be warned. Things should go nicely and there's gonna be enough food for everyone this time. Hmm . . . the week of glory seems to have faded. No matter. I have news for all my loyal fans. Hold on to you seats, this is gonna be big. I'm having a party! It's gonna be on Thursday night and everyone but Chad and Jacob are invited. Kelly, maybe you shouldn't come either. What this means to those of you living out of state; no updating for awhile. I need to clean(ha!), buy stuff, and invite people(already did that). Okay, so maybe I will update.

Let me say this; if my site were a child, it would have died from neglect a long, long time ago. I have decided to spend one week updating it. One week of glory beginning on the 8th of October. I promise to do the following: change the sign over Other Sections so it no longer says mostly incomplete, add to the list of things that piss me off, add to my life story, and maybe start a new section. Also, o loyal fans, I will add a New! mark to anything changed during the week of glory! Sound good? Well, it may not happen, but at least for a few hours I'll believe it.
