Want a scary Hallowe'en story? If you're a Seminole fan, try this: Ronald Curry will be back in Doak Campbell Stadium in two years. But this year there were no scares for the Seminoles, and it was also a good game for our predixns. The champion forecaster this week was Justin Shirley with a difference of only 2.00, one of the best predixns of the year. Runner up was Herb Wills...wait, that's me. Second week in the top five? Next there are going to be earthquakes in north Florida! Scott Mandell, looking forward to next week's game between his 'Hoos and the 'Noles, was third at 3.00. The rest of the top five was a logjam in the fourth position; Scott Wilson, Matt Pierce, and GRUE (our prognosticator from the United Kingdom) each had a difference of 3.16.
Looking at the scores, it seems like everyone must have given their crystal balls a good rubdown with some Windex. Even the Press came pretty close this week, and one of Florida State's student journalists could have tied for first:

Next week is another big party in Doak Campbell Stadium, and this time the Cavaliers of Virginia will be the Seminoles' guests. If you got really tired of hearing the "puntrooskie" story during the week of the Florida State vs Clemson game, you'd better turn off the television and hide the newspapers this week because you're about to be bombarded with references to FSU's 1995 loss at Virginia.
