Our forecaster are struggling to figure out the 1998 Seminoles, but Travis Vaughan's predixn was good enough to win this week's derby with a difference of 10.00. The runner-up was Atlanta's Bob Stuke, Jr. (10.44) followed by FSU's Matt Pearce (11.05), our Peruvian correspondent Eric Lyman (11.66), and Scott Hill (12.65).

Next, the Seminoles entertain Southern California at Campbell Stadium. Florida State looked good after the first quarter last Saturday, but the guys in the white jerseys were from Duke after all. Additionally, many Duke players had to be yanked early in the second quarter due to food poisoning. Some even had to be placed on IV's. All Florida State can expect in this upcoming game is that the Trojans might have a touch of jet lag. How will the Seminoles fare against players who don't belong in the ICU?
