since 1994
After graduating frrom Missouri Southern State College in 2002 with a bachelor of arts in communications,
I finally moved away from Joplin, Missouri, and have been trekking my way back to the Atlantic Ocean.
It began with a short stop in the mountains of Pennsylvania, working as a news photojournalist in the Williamsport bureau for the NBC and CBS affiliate stations out of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, WBRE & WYOU.
Three months was enough time to convince me to take a job at the ABC affiliate, WVEC 13News, in Norfolk, Virginia. I am living in Willoughby, a district in northern Norfolk, that lies on the zone between the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean.
It was created by a hurricane hundreds of years ago...
Finally, I am living on the beach...

The Doors Open Again
This is the open for a documentary I was tasked with in the summer of 2001. It's about 2:40 in length to the sounds of the Mamas and the Papas and was done entirely in after effects. It's a big file to download but it's worth the wait.

The original website with my historical look at Joplin, Missouri. The site is located on a free Tripod server so I'm sorry about the popups...just drop the first one down and they shouldn't pop up all the time. Lots of pictures of the people and places that can be found in Joplin, and I'm pretty sure you're bound to see someone you know. Hundreds of pictures covering my existence in the Midwest. The closed chapter of my life.
