Colorado Adventures in Summer 2004

(Many Parks Curve, Rocky Mountain National Park)

It was July of 2004 when the kids and I flew from Norfolk, Virginia to visit my parents in Ft. Collins, Colorado. After a six-something-hour flight with one layover, we arrived in Denver and took the hour plus drive to Ft. Collins, across the lowlands of the state until the Rocky Mountains broke across the northern horizon. It had been eleven years since I saw the mighty rocks that burst through the earth to the heavens and which seemingly went on forever.

It was exciting to be back and I knew there was much for us to do and see in the days we would be in the mountains.

Here are some of the incredible images we brought back from the trip.
