1. Sleeping in an awkward position, or even on your stomach,
can cause the muscles in your neck to contract and trigger a headache.
Sleeping on your back helps.

2. Deep breathing is a great tension reliever.
You will be doing it right if your stomach is moving more than your chest.

3. Dry your hair in the opposite direction it grows.
This will help to beat the straight, matted down hair.

4. Use this solution: 1/2 tsp. salt in 8 ounces of warm water.
This will clear the throat and voice box problem created
by excessive postnasal drainage.

5. One way to find relief from sinus problems is garlic.
This pungent herb contains the same chemical found in a drug given to make mucus less sticky.

6. Zinc lozenges can help the kind of sore throat that's associated with a cold.

7. Music is an enormously powerful tool for fighting stress.

8. Sprinkle talcum powder over your sheets before going to bed if you are sunburned.
This will minimize chafing and friction.

9. Use a pen grip instead of the common tennis racket grip when brushing your teeth.
This produces less gum abrasion and heathier gums and will still get rid of plaque.

10.Making an easy teether for your baby is one way to help.
Take a piece of apple that is cold and wrap it in a wet, child-size washcloth
and let the baby chew on this. (while you are watching only)
The apple will give the baby a little more incentive to bite down
and work those teeth through the gums,
because of the taste of the apple piece.

11. Adding vinegar to the final rinse when washing diapers will help bring pH of cloth diapers into line with that of the baby's skin. Add 1 ounce of vinegar to 1 gallon water during the final rinse.

12. For diarrhea you can use yogurt. Yogurt tends to repopulate the bowel with good bacteria.

13. Six to eight glasses of water a day is very good for you. Helps skin, hair, nails and your system.

14. Earache you can use your hair dryer. Set hair dryer to low, warm setting. Hold the dryer 18 to 20 inches from your ear, aim that warm air into the aching ear. Still be careful not to put it too close or you might burn yourself.

15. Closing your eyes for 7 to 8 hours helps to rehydrate them.

16. Give yourself an extra 15 minutes in the mornings before you start your day. That way you won't feel rushed or tired.

17. Take time each morning to plan your day or set specific goals. Determine what you want to do; don't let your routine control you.

18. Try reading instead of watching so much television. This will be more relaxing and energizing.

19. Kids who read alot do much better in school. Their thought patterns are more aware of what's going on. Their attention span is better than those who watch television more than reading.

20. Smoking adversely affects the delivery of oxygen to tissues. The affects is fatigue.

21. Everyday do something you love to do.

22. Confront only out of love.

23. Laugh everyday.

24. Forgive.

25. Get out of debt and stay out of debt.

26. Show mercy.

27. Limit your worry to ten minutes a day.

28. Apprediate your children, they are with you only a short time.

29. Use tact.

30. Be what the Lord loves.

32. Get enough sleep.

33. Let anger subside before you take action.

34. Keep an open mind.

36. Discuss things, don't quarrel.
