God entreats us to pray, because He knows we are often caught in prisons of our own making. Not prisons with bars and locks, but intellectual prisons, emotional prisons, and relational prisons. When God answers our prayers, He either answers with a yes, no, or wait. When He answers yes, we say "Praise the Lord!" But when God says no, we have a hard time finding reasons to praise Him. Not one thing in the Bible says He will answer yes to all our prayers just because we are living right. He has the right to say no according to His infinite wisdom, regardless of our goodness. He does it many times for our protection. Sometimes God wants to answer our prayer, but the timing is not right. We must remember that God's answer is always His ultimate best for us. His answers are always an act of Grace, motivated by His love. If we refuse God's answers when they don't fit in with our plans, then we are trying to use God for our purposes. But if we graciously accept His answers no matter what they are, He will use us for His glory. © Charles Stanley, "Handle With Prayer" "FELLOWSHIP" "Not forsaking the assembling"..........Hebrews 10:25"teaching and admonishing one another"..........Colossians 3:16 "Speaking to yourselves".......... Suffering because we are Christians may tempt us to forsake our faith. memory of past experiences can give us courage to face present persecution. Christian endurance is never complete until our Master returns. We can trust Him. His reward justifies all the suffering we must endure. Read Hebrews 10:32-39.

"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wonder off.In the same way your Father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost."Matthew 18:12-14 (NIV) Jesus described the Father as One with great interest for the least and last person on the earth. His case for the Father's unrelenting love for the lost. He was seeking to find persons who are lost from God and restore them to the Father's love. Jesus came into this world in search of the lost. God's tender, fatherly yearning for the lost is the underlying motivating force in God's provision of salvation for the lost. God loves you!
