The Friendly Church That Fills Your Spiritual Needs

To teach the whole counsel of the word of God, the Bible.
We do this by focusing our attention on teaching through the Bible,
book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse.
Doing this the people of God will best be able to be grounded
in the truth that sets them free.
(John 8:31-32, Acts 2:42, 20:27, Ephesians 4:11-14)

To worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
We desire that in the songs we sing and in the way we live we exemplify true,
heartfelt worship of the Most High God.
(John 4:23, Psalm 29:2)

Share good news of salvation found in Jesus Christ with all who will hear. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)

A Place for Friendship
Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship. That's why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds between members of our church family -- bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another. Best of all, the circle of care is growing more and more. We'd love for that circle to include you, too.

A Place for Growth
None of us have made it yet, and there is always room for improvement.
This is true for us here, at Aldridge Missionary Baptist Church.
In our family, we are still growing in our friendship, learning, and service.
God has put into place the people and facilities for exciting growth opportunities.
We're excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
And you can be a part of the excitement as we grow together.

"Area Youth Rally"

Our church is working with the youth in many different ways.
In doing so, we are loving, supporting, praying, and working with the future.
We have a "Youth Rally for Christ" once every quarter of the year.
Guest speakers are brought in, youth fellowship from other churches from all over the county join us,
also youth who are not in church at this time join us.

This is not just limited to the youth, everyone is welcome.

Pastor Rick Sherrer
He has brought into our church family some fresh ideas,
to help improve our church and serve the Lord better.

He works with each age group, from the youngest to the seasoned adults.
Brother Rick is a man who serves and loves the Lord with all his heart.
We have been blessed by the Lord sending him and his family to our church.
He has and is helping the church family to grow in
love, understanding, giving, and in their service to the Lord.

Minister of Music is Murl Lockhart, who is from Jasper.
He has served this church in the music field for around 35 years. Murl has had several years of training in music before coming to our church.
He works with the adult choir and the leaders of the younger choirs.
He's also a Deacon and along with his wife Judy, serve the Lord in many ways. We are proud to have a leader in music who loves and serves the Lord as he does.

"Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up on wings as eagles."
(Isaiah 40:31)

Do you feel like you are drowning and life has no meaning, no one loves you or cares about you?
There is someone, Jesus Christ
.
Jesus Christ is alive and loves you more than His own life.
Remember we are only one away from eternity.

The love that we need is God Himself coming into our hearts.
When the soul is perfected in love, it has such sense of that love that it can rest in it for eternity,
and though it can contain for the time being,
it can always receive more love from God.

"For God sent His Son not into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."

(John 3:17)

"Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."
(1 Peter 2:24)

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
(John 3:36)

Blessed are they which do hunger and thrist after righteousness:
for they shall be filled.
(Matthew 5:6)

Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.
(John 6:37b)
