Love & Happiness

This is a picture of my two daughters, my brother, my Mother and myself.

Love is a deep and tender feeling of fondness and devotion.
Happiness is a feeling or showing pleasure or joy; glad; contented.

Love means to love that which is unlovable, or it is no virtue at all;
forgiving means to pardon that which is unpardonable, or it is no virtue at all,
and to hope means hoping when things are hopeless, or it is no virtue at all.
The Heavenly Father welcomes us with open arms
and imparts to us blessing upon blessing, not because we are upright,
but because Jesus Christ has clothed us with
His own virtue.

Herein is love, not that we loved God,
but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
1 John 4:10,11

"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:
and every one that loveth Him that begat
loveth Him also that is begotten of Him."
"By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God, and keep His commandments."
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments:
and His commandments are not grievous."
1 John 5:1-3

The Greatest Story

Oh what pain you must have felt, with each piercing of the nails.
Through and through each nail bore, as skin and muscle ripped and tore.
On your head a crownof thorns was shoved until down your face streamed Holy Blood.
They stood you up for all to see the Son of God hanging on a tree.
An act of cruelty by unclean hands causing an uproar in all the land.
"Father forgive them" was your prayer to Heaven as people mocked you still disbelieving.
The crowds watched as you gasped for air, your strengthless body so bloody and bare.
A sight to behold as your body hung lifeless, no breath left now, just calm and quietness.
No more torment at the hands of men would your flesh feel again.
A life without sin you so freely gave so that all of man might be saved.
Bless us Lord as with faith we embrace the greatest story of God's grace.

More important than length of life, is how we spend each day.

Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;
neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
Isaiah 59:1

Faith is not belief without proof,
but trust without reservations.

What a real spiritual awakening does is to take Jesus Christ out of the realm of "religion" and into the world of reality. It makes people look at themselves honestly, stripped of their usual protective coloring.

I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that, I still possess.

God does His deepest work in you when you are in the deepest distress.
You see, He loves you too much to let you miss His best.

Always tell Him you love Him!!!
