I'm baaaaaaack! Couldn't resist posting this one.. I mentioned just in passing that my red male Betta is ready for action because he built himself a nice bubble nest. My roommate's reaction because I still don't have a suitable female mate for my fish? And I quote..

What in the world would he do that for? That would be like a single (human~type) guy turning his poshy bachelor's pad in for a baby nursery..

Just came across an interesting Reuters image that was posted on Yahoo News. It shows a farm truck so overloaded with corn that it actually appears very surrealistic, almost as though we will eventually see it debunked over at Snopes.com, home to many a squelching of the latest in Internet urban legends. Case in point: recent Hurricane Isabel images that recently worked their way around the Net (including finding their way into the emailboxes of my own friends and family members!).

Quickie Webmastering Tip

Spent I don't know HOW long this morning trying to find out exactly what "charset" to use when hand~coding my webpages. I FINALLY found that "UTF-8" is being suggested as universal for the Internet as stated over right over here at W3.org. Ok, guys.. That's what I'm going to use 'cause you all said it would work... :wow:

Along the same lines as the charset is a web browser's "encoding". The Validator was telling me that ... so I went looking for how to change that particular setting on my browser. Although referring to Cyrillic, these instructions helped me get mine changed over to the universal UTF-8 setting.

I just now made a phone call to a very old classmate, circa 1974. What should play just as I hung up but, "(Memories of my Life)".. Probably the Number 1 prom theme song back then..
