AttractionFull transcriptJewelry thieves are costing Cascade millions. The question of whodunit becomes more difficult because the heists are from supposedly very secure locations. Jim’s senses seem to be slightly heightened after each crime scene. One night bar hopping with Blair, Jim meets a mysterious woman, Laura. He is very attracted to her, but she refuses to reveal too much about herself. They talk, but nothing comes of it, and Jim spends most of the night driving. Another robbery occurs across the street from a large party. The thieves manage to get in by crossing a wire connecting the jewelry store to the building holding the party. When Jim and Blair check out the party for suspects, Jim finds Laura in attendance and is completely distracted from the investigation. Blair is suspicious of Jim’s reactions and confronts Jim with the theory Laura is involved somehow in the heists. He explains that Jim is so attracted to Laura because of pheromones, and this could explain Jim’s heightened senses at the various crime scenes. Confronted with such evidence, Jim begins to investigate further into Laura’s past and discovers her husband and his brother were once circus performers, and the act included such feats as tightrope walking and the human ball. When Jim goes to confront Laura with this information, he witnesses her car exploding killing the man and woman inside. Suspecting Laura’s brother in law, Ted, of the crime, Jim arrests him only to discover Laura was behind the car bomb in an attempt to keep all of the stolen merchandise for herself. Canon Tidbits:
