Episode 103 (#003) - April 3 1996

Detective Danny Choi has been undercover investigating Michael "Mickey" O’Toole for two months. While filling Jim in on the latest information he has, Danny is gunned down by a hired assassin, Tommy Juno.

Jim is determined to prove Juno is the killer, even after he is suspended and an IA investigation started concerning Jim’s actions.

When Tommy makes an attempt on Beverley Sanchez, Jim pushes him out the window. Tommy is rushed to the hospital, where he later dies from his injuries. However, seemingly while Tommy is dying, he is also shooting at Jim standing at an outdoor sushi bar. Tommy has a twin named Dylan and it is Dylan who died at the hospital.

Michael O’Toole decides he’s had enough of Tommy Juno and has him killed. However, Tommy turns the tables and kills his would-be assassins and O’Toole. While investigating the homicides, Jim gets a call on O’Toole’s cell phone from Tommy. Tommy is holding Beverley Sanchez hostage and wants Jim in exchange. Jim convinces Tommy his brother is in fact alive and offers Dylan in trade for Beverley.

The exchange is set up at a nearby amusement park, and everything goes well, until the wheelchair Dylan’s body is in catches in a hole and Tommy discovers the ruse. Jim chases Tommy into a room of mirrors and finally kills Tommy by pinpointing his heartbeat.
