-Quibbler, The: Magazine owned by Mr. Lovegood. Not many people in the wizarding community trust what it says.
Etim. To quibble means to evade the truth or importance of an issue by raising trivial distinctions and objections. A quibble is an archaic term for a pun.

-Quidditch: Wizarding sport played by two teams flying on broomsticks. There are two balls: the red Quaffle, the two black Bludgers that try to throw players from their brooms and the golden Snitch. Each team has seven players: three Chasers, two Beaters, a Keeper and a Seeker. The Chasers try to get the Quaffle past the Keeper into one of three hoops at either end of the field, earning 10 points for each score. The Beaters hit the  violent Bludgers towards the opposing team with their bats. The Seeker looks for the fast Snitch. The game ends when one of the Seekers finds the Snitch. The team whose Seeker found the small ball earns an extra 150 points.
