Québec City was founded by Samuel dé Champlain in 1608. Jacques Cartier first visited Gaspé in 1534. Bordering Labrador and Ontario. Summer can see 32°C, while winter can drop as low as -50°C.

Divided into three horizontal fields, the first bearing three fleurs-de-lis on a blue background, the second a blue-tongued, blue-clawed gold leopard on a red background, and the third three green maple leaves, gold-veined on a gold backbround, topped by the royal crown.
