Colorado Wildlife

(A gathering of Elk)

We came across a great deal of wildlife during our adventures in Colorado, but for the most part didn't get great photographs of our subjects.

The first was the family of deer under the tree at Horsetooth Mountain.

Then, on the way to the Park, we saw the gathering of elk on the side of the road.

Then, the mother moose and her calf.

We saw a lone elk in the Alpine region but traffic was pretty thick so we didn't get him. Also, we saw a ton of prairie dogs on the side of the road, but didn't stop for any of those critters. Sorry....
