Alpine: The highest point of Rocky Mountain Park
After stopping at the Contitnental Divide, we start getting into some very lofty regions and my Dad's vertigo was not doing so good. We stopped at the Alpine Visitor center where it was biting cold and snow was everywhere...yes, in July.
We got some pictures here, but then hit the road and got to view the most spectacular and majestic mountains in the park. It was simply awesome.
So, if you have a moment, take the time to look at some of the pictures I took. They are unbelievable. Now I understand why Ansel Adams spent so much time in this part of the country.
