First off, HTML is very important knowledge to the e-wrester. Whether it's involved in creating angles or writing RPs, the best e-fedders learn to use it. This I hope will be the e-fedder bible to html.

Note that where ever ( ) is used, it is used in place of the carrots <

Also remember that when you want to switch off the HTML you must use a slash /

EX. (b) SHCHEEVONE: (/b)

Here are some basic commands to start everyone off. Later in the review, I'll cover the exact format used by the UWF card writers, so you can properly adjust your angles.

(b) (/b) - This is the command to make your text bold... SHCHEEVONE:

(i) (/i) - This italicizes the words, often used when denoting action parts... (Wessin smacks Shcheevone.)

(u) (/u) - This underlines words... HEY!!!

(font size=25) (/font size=25) This changes the font size, allowing you to make text bigger or shrink it CRACK!!!

(font color=blue) (/font color=blue) This changes the color of your text, handy in making different person's parts in RPs stand out. Cool.

(p) This command allows you to start a new paragraph. Useful for when you're describing the scenery and move onto another idea, or when speaking and doing the same.

(br) This command allows you to skip a line in between text. Hey you're a....
A what?

These are the basic commands most often used while RPing or writing angles. Now I'll show the typical format used in a card.

(i) "Welcome to Dying" by Blind Guardian hits the PA and Stallion walks out to the dismay of the crowd, who begins tearing into Stallion with boos. Stallion walks down the ramp and slides in the ring, prepared to face all comers. (/i) (p)

(b) SHCHEEVONE: (/b) There he is, two-time former World Champion, quite a dispicable being. (p)

(b) WESSIN: (/b) Are you kidding me? Stallion's awesome!! (p)

(font size=25) (b) SMACK!!! (/font size=25) (/b) (p)

(b) SHCHEEVONE: (/b) STALLION JUST GOT LAID OUT BY BREAKER!!! BREAKER CAME OUT FROM UNDER THE APRON AND NAILED HIM WITH A BASEBALL BAT!!! (p)

This is the basic format of every card and how it works. Everything should be typed as it appears here in reference to angles. Notice that the paragraph command is put up after every switch in a person speaking or action. This is due to webpages being different from the Message Boards we post RPs on. You can't just press return on a webpage's html and expect a space to show, it doesn't work like that.

Now to see everything I just did in real HTML:

"Welcome to Dying" by Blind Guardian hits the PA and Stallion walks out to the dismay of the crowd, who begins tearing into Stallion with boos. Stallion walks down the ramp and slides in the ring, prepared to face all comers.

SHCHEEVONE: There he is, two-time former World Champion, quite a dispicable being.

WESSIN: Are you kidding me? Stallion's awesome!!

SMACK!!!

SHCHEEVONE: STALLION JUST GOT LAID OUT BY BREAKER!!! BREAKER CAME OUT FROM UNDER THE APRON AND NAILED HIM WITH A BASEBALL BAT!!!

This is the basic format, also please do the writers a favor and space out your angles, don't just do the paragraph command and hit enter and begin typing on the next line... hit enter and leave a space between all your switches in action and speakers. It helps us tremendously reading it and makes it easy on our eyes.

Thanks,

The Management
