You walk in the direction the sign with the stylized ferret-type creature points. You wonder what kind of creature this could be. You've never heard of a creature that looks like a ferret other than a weasel and you're pretty sure Remanth wouldn't adopt a weasel. When you reach your destination, you find a young woman surrounded by animals sitting on a chair in a room. The room is painted to simulate space. Staring at the seeming void above you takes your breath away. There are fifteen doors around the room, each colored differently. Starting on your left and going counterclockwise, they are colored red, blue, green, white, orange, gray, pink, light brown, purple, gold, sea blue, burgundy, light green, silver, and mahogany. The woman in the room notices your dazed look.
"Yes, this room is a bit much the first time you see it," she laughs. "My name's Athena. You're obviously here to see the ferilons. May I ask your name?" You nod and tell her your name. Then you ask, "What exactly are ferilons?" Athena laughs and replies, "They are a ferret-like creature that live on the world of Zekira.They come in many colors and patterns. There are also show ferilons. You can adopt as many as you would like. In my opinion, Remanth went a little overboard when she adopted, but that's her perogative."
You look at the doors again and notice that they have writing on them. There are two names on each door. They seem to be female and male. You reason that the ferilons have mates and each couple resides behind a door. You do a quick calculation in your head and realize that Remanth has twenty ferilons. You turn to Athena in amazement and say, "Twenty ferilons!? How does Remanth keep track of them all?" Athena shakes her head.
"I don't know," she answers. "She just does." You look back at the doors. Athena seems to realize that you want to explore further. She turns and walks back to her chair.
"You can explore further or go back to the Cyberpets Grove. Have a nice day," Athena smiles at you then goes back to playing with her animals.
