You choose the purple door and walk through. Inside, it is dark and you see a roaring campfire. Sitting arouns it, toasting marshmallows, two ferilons talk quietly. The first one you notice is a dark gray with a pink and gold mane. Her wings look like gold foil and she has a gold, spiraled horn growing out of her head. You wonder if perhaps she is a relative to a unicorn. The other ferilon is larger. He is white with green and brown fur. The skin on the undersides of his bat wings is brown and green, as well. As you walk forward, the two ferilons halt their conversation and look at you. The larger ferilon moves over a bit and invites you to sit down. He looks at you inquisitively then jumps as his marshmallow bursts into flames. You and the other ferilon laugh as he tries to put out the flames and salvage the marshmallow. Finally, giving up in exasperation, he grabs another from the back next to him. The smaller ferilon, tiring of the silence, says, "My name's Darkstar. This is my mate, Lachlan. Who are you and what are you doing here?" You tell Darkstar your name and explain that you are exploring. Lachlan looks interested at that.
"Who've you visited so far?" he asks. You tell him everyone you've seen, including some descriptions. The two ferilons listen avidly, nodding once in a while. When you are finished, Darkstar says, "Since we're sitting around a campfire, why don't we tell ghost stories." You and Lachlan agree and Darkstar starts the first story. She tells about a girl going into a haunted house and describes the witches, vampires, zombies, ghouls, and other creepy undead things. The problem the girl has is finding the exit, which is constantly shifting.
"And as the fur sprouted on her fingers, the girl realized she would never leave this haunted house," Darkstar finished. A log on the fire popped suddenly, causing all of you to jump. Smiling sheepishly, Lachlan starts the next story. His story is about a demon wandering around a town. This demon was ransacking the town, eating all of the pets. When people tried to stop it, it attacked them and ate them. A boy tried to stop the demon and had to find his way around a dark mazelike cave. He finally found the demon.
"And the boy looked straight at the glowing eyes and yelled "Boo!". The demon dropped, dead of fright," Lachlan finished. You and Darkstar had almost died of fright as well. Lachlan had started out talking in a quiet voice and yelled the "BOO". You both jumped and screamed. Lachlan laughed until his sides hurt then looks at you. You start telling one of your favorite ghost stories. When you reach the end, Darkstar and Lachlan both seem scared. You look at your watch and realize you've been here a long time. You finish your marshmallow and stand up.
"Goodbye," Lachlan says. "Have a nice time exploring."
"You're welcome back any time," Darkstar adds. They wave goodbye as you walk out the door and on to your next adventure.
