Gordon Lightfoot from
A Painter Passing Through
Many of you may want to stock up on Gord's CDs while in town. Toronto has some fantastic record stores in the dowtown core. Here are just some:
HMV 333 Yonge Street, Toronto
The British giant is an excellent multilevel store. There are four floors at the Superstore location, which "specializes" in all genres of music!
Sunrise Records 336 Yonge Street - just North of Dundas
An independent retailer with several locations in the Toronto and the surrounding area.
Queen Street West
Take a stroll down to the CHUM/CityTV Building. There are some small and second-hand record stores located along the way where some used treasures might be found. Vinyl of "Sunday Concert" was in the bins not long ago!
Toronto Area Malls
Most malls (including the Eaton Centre) have various record stores, as well.
