Toronto Weather from Weather Underground includes forecasts with current conditions, radar images and links to other weather-related items.
The Weather Network is headquartered in nearby Mississauga, ON, and has 5-day forecast with current conditions, weather watches and warnings, satellite images, UV conditions, as well as many other interesting facts and figures. It also has Ask The Expert and Explore Quick Facts with interesting information about Canadian weather and its patterns.
The Ministry of Transportation Traveller's Information page is set up to provide drivers with travel information. Links on the site include webcams, current driving conditions, weather conditions and road construction reports. Also includes links to general information pages.
Environment Canada provides a wealth of information across the country. Probably the most current information available. This is a bilingual site.
On the Government of Ontario Information for Travellers and Visitors page, you will find a comprehensive list of travel links, mostly for those driving in Ontario. Includes some of the links mentioned on this page.
Ontario Yours To Discover is a one-stop informational site for travellers to Ontario. The site provides Travel Guides and Travel Tips for those wanting to spend some time seeing what Ontario has to offer. The Transportation page lists a comprehensive list of the available modes of travel and links to help you get more information. The Ontario Travel Information Centres are listed on this site, too. Centres are listed by location, address and included are phone and fax numbers, as well as, hours of operation.
How Far Is It? This is a very interesting site which uses accumulated data reports to determine distances between cities...or to find the longitude and latitude of a city. Distances are measured 'as the crow flies', rather than driving distances.
Travelinx lists things to see and do in Ontario. A good site if you have special travel requirements, as the page includes a search function for some common travel needs.
License Plates of the World is a collection of just that...pictures and descriptions of license plates from all over the globe! Check the Ontario link for an historical view of automobile identification plates over the years. Also includes special issue plates which you may note in your travels.
Information about visitor tax refunds are provided on the Canada Customs and Revenue Visitor Refund (GST tax) Program page. Includes a downloadable pamphlet in PDF format (other formats available). A must for any visitor from outside Canada!
If you're driving, you may want to check the Planned Construction at the Traffic and Road Information System pages. The information provided includes ramp closures, lane restriction hours and even reported accidents!
